While new to Earth and facing bad circumstances, Xiao-Hong, a shapeshifter from a world called Ruot, wound up becoming roommates with Hayden, the bass player in a local punk rock band. As Xiao-Hong adjusted to life on Earth, and as the two grew closer, the eventually began to realize that they might be more than roommates...
