Aether discovers just how much a simple hug or kiss on the cheek can sometimes make Albedo speechless and shy. It was adorably sweet to watch and he tried not to melt on the spot whenever it happened. And because of that sometimes he would purposely sneak and steal a kiss or hug from Albedo… often caught him off guard either in front of someone else or alone.
He once told Paimon that but she seemed skeptical and admitted she couldn’t imagine a shy looking Albedo after seeing him stern more often than not. Was it really that hard to imagine? The first time he saw Albedo on Dragonspine he instantly knew his smile would be the prettiest.
“Aether.. how do I say this… you’re a different case from others.” Albedo tells him when he happened to mention it.
“Because I’m not from this world you mean?” he asked, perplexed.
Albedo shook his head. “No. I mean to say that your view is quite biased because we are together. From the eyes of someone who doesn’t know me personally I am a stoic and snobbish person.”
“But you’re not…” Aether wants to argue.
Albedo chuckles fondly and resumes his writing.
Pouting… Aether stood from the stool and walked behind Albedo and then hugged him from behind. Albedo sighs softly and lets him be. Aether relished the touch and warmth from Albedo… although he really couldn’t stop himself from wanting to bury his face on Albedo’s silky hair and a bit of exposed skin on his nape.
Aether tucked the ashy blonde hair to the side and tries to kiss Albedo’s nape as softly as he can. The moment his lips touched the skin he felt Albedo flinched but didn’t pull away. And interestingly is how the tips of Albedo’s ears had turned red. He is obviously blushing.
Cute. Really cute.
He hugs Albedo tighter and tighter but still careful not to knock anything off the table.
“Aether I can’t write…” Albedo complained a little later but there’s no real annoyance from his tone.
“But I want to hug you.”
“What should I do with you,” Albedo sighs.
Grinning… Aether tiptoed a little and tilted Albedo’s face to the side and didn’t waste time on giving his lips a soft peck. Closely… he watched just how the blushes spread on Albedo’s cheeks, to his nose and it was amusing in a good way. He feels tingly.
“You’re so cute!” he squealed and pressed his face closer when Albedo looked away. “Ahh Albedo look at me!”
“Ridiculous.”
He said that but Aether can clearly see him biting his lips to suppress the smile threatening to slip. See… like this he really couldn’t fathom just how everyone assumed Albedo as someone snobbish…
“Cute.” he says one more time and kisses Albedo’s cheeks and rubs his face on Albedo’s shoulder. “Maybe I should kiss you in front of everyone.”
“Do that and I’m never leaving Dragonspine.”
“Dunno, sounds like vacation to me.” he grins.
