All the cheerful banter in the room comes to a hush as a quiet melody takes its place.
Every sheep, jellyfish, cat, and cuttlefish stands and turns, waiting for what they came for - what they've been so excited to see for a long time.
There stands Uki Violeta, adorned in a stunning white gown and bearing a beautiful assortment of purple flowers.
As the piano begins to pick up, so does the psychic begins his journey down the aisle.
And on the other end of it stands the man of his dreams, Fulgur Ovid, in a simple, yet dashing black and red suit. Just the man he fell in love with all those years ago.
At his sides were Sonny Brisko and Alban Knox. The officer standing proud, and the phantom thief already bawling.
The cyborg himself was barley maintaining his poise as Uki finally reaches the altar.
A stargazer follows suit balancing a cushion with two rings on its head.
Uki takes one of the rings and Fulgur's hand, slipping the ring onto his finger.
"I love you with my whole heart, never forget that."
Fulgur's careful composure begins to crumble when he slips the remaining ring onto the other's hand.
Uki brings his newly adorned hand to gently wipe the tear off of his beloved's cheek, the latter turning to kiss his palm.
"I never will. I hope you know how much I treasure you too."
"I love you."
From his words, Uki sheds a tear. He had been patiently waiting for so long for this moment to finally arrive.
A comfydant magistrate from behind the altar announces, "You may now kiss the groom."
The two share a look. One of flooding passion, threatening to burst down the dams of restraint.
Though certainly not their first, and most definitely not their last... Uki and Fulgur can proudly claim their first kiss as husband and husband.
It's short and not very showy, but nonetheless, the crowd erupts into a sea of clapping and joyous cheering as the newlyweds share one final, knowing look.
"Alright! Who's ready for champagne?"
