Chapter Text
The last thing they remembered was getting dragged trough the dark portal that Kurogiri created and now, they were tied up, restrained. It remined Katsuki of that day at the sports festival, that day with the sludge monster. He was restrained yet again, unable to move his body. He looked around him next to him was another chair, there sat his classmate Shoto, he was still unconscious though. Before him stood that purple portal guy that teleported him here, the creepy guy with the hands, the insane blood girl and finally a woman who he has never seen before, but he knew she was just like the rest of them a villain, he knew that very well.
"Ah Katsuki Bakugo, finally awake huh?" The woman said, then her eyes fell on the unconscious Shoto. She gently grabbed Shoto's chin and abserved his face
"Such a pretty face, it's getting wasted by those hero's" The woman said ruffling Shoto's hair, slightly waking him up, and if he wasn't awake already he was definitely woken up by Katsuku screaming "Don't you fucking touch him, you fucking pedophile!"
"The same things aplies to you Katsuki" The woman traced Katsuki's shoulder with her hand, he wanted to slap her hands away, to blow her up with his quirk, but he was restrained, helpless to do anything
Shoto groaned softly, his head lolling to the side.
“Bakugo?” he muttered, trying to move, then realized he couldn’t. Metal restraints bound his wrists to the arms of the chair, the cold pressing into his skin. His eyes flicked to the woman standing between them, she stood way too close for his comfort
“Oh good,” she purred. “Now the real fun can begin.”
“Who are you?” Shoto asked, his voice even but sharp. His eyes scanned the room, Kurogiri stood silently watching the whole scene unfold, Shigaraki stood next to the woman with a wide grin, Toga was hopping around the room, humming to herself, twirling a knife in one hand. And then there was her. She stood there in front of the two restraind boys, an almost wicked grin plastered on her face, a face that screamed trouble.
“I go by Mindshatter,” she said with a smile, stepping back to give them both a view. “And don’t worry, I’m not here to hurt you. In fact, I want to help you. I want to free you.”
Katsuki scoffed, yanking against the restraints. “Save it, freak. I’m not joining your psycho club.”
“Me neither,” Shoto added, eyes his narrowing.
Mindshatter tilted her head like she was examining them. “That’s the thing about thoughts... they start small, like seeds. A whisper at first. A question. A what if? And over time… well. You’ll see.”
She circled behind them slowly her hand occasionally tracing along the two boys' backs or shoulders, making them shiver with discomfort. “Tell me something, Katsuki. Don’t you ever get tired of being restrained? Being called the villain? Doesn’t it make your skin itch, knowing that you can just destroy your enemies with a the move of your hand if you were just allowed to?”
Katsuki grit his teeth. “You don’t know anything about me.”
“Don’t I?” Her voice dropped lower, just above a whisper. She put her hands on his shoulders, her mouth next to his ear as she spoke. This made him move his restrainments in a brutal force wishing he could just get out of this uncomfortable position. “Don’t you feel it? That burn in your palms. That twitch in your fingers. The want? You like using your quirk, don’t you?” She whispered
He didn’t answer, he hated this, feeling so weak, feeling so powerless.
She moved to Shoto next. “And you… You’ve spent so long denying a part of yourself. Ice or fire. One or the other. But tell me, Shoto, when you finally use both sides, doesn’t it feel good? Don't you want to give in to the burning chaos that you can cause? Or the chilling calm that you can cause. With just a move of your hand, you can destroy those hero's who said that what they did to you was for the best ”
Mindshatter traced his scar and breath caught just slightly. She smiled.
“Thoughts,” she said with a grin. “They only grow over time, maybe it's time you give in to them”
She walked over to Shigaraki who looked at the two with a smirk
"Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki, we want to recruit you" Shigaraki looked at the two boys unreadable expressions
"Yeah right, forget it I'm not some shitty villain" Katsuki scoffed
"you're not? Then why do you keep getting called one?" Shigaraki smirked
This comment momenterally shut Katsuki up and then the attention of the villains was focused on Shoto
"Shoto Todoroki, son of Endeavor, made to surpas all might, to do the very thing his father couldn't. But be honest, this only caused you pain and suffering, why would you follow a goal that isn't yours to begin with? Why follow a goal that will only caused pain and suffering? Don't you ever just want, revenge? Revenge on that man who has hurt you just for his own selfish desires?" Mindshatter cirkled around Shoto's chair, ignoring the glare of Katsuki.
"I'm a hero!" Shoto tried to lean away from Mindshatter
"I see, the two of them definitely need a push, but I'll get them there eventually" She muttered to Shigaraki
Shigaraki nodded and turned his attention to Kurogiri "Kurogiri, take our guests to where they'll be staying" he said with a smirk
Katsuki and Shoto looked at eachother wondering what would happen next.
They were led to a small room with only a matress laying on the ground, the room was dark, only one weak lamp having to light the entire room, since there were no windows. The room seemed clean enough to stay, but definitely not comfortable.
They were pushed inside the room. no mater how hard they tried, the metal handcuffs didn't go off, they couldn't use their quirks and running fot it wasn't an option, so they didn't have a choise but to do what they were told.
The door closed behind them, and the handcuffs fell off, Katsuki immediately uses his explosions to try and blast the door open, but of course that's no good.
On the other hand there's Shoto, sitting on the ground, leaning against the wall. He knows that Katsuki's explosions won't have any use, but he doesn't think Katsuki would listen if he told him that.
"Oi Icey-hot help me blast this door open so we can get out of this stupid place!" Katsuki practically yelled at Shoto.
Shoto just sat there, staring at the door
"Hey ice prince are you going to sit there like a damn statue the whole time or will you actually help me?!" Katsuki took a step closer to Shoto looking over him with a glare
"It's useless they won't let us out unless they want us to and that woman, mindshatter. If we look at her name, her quirk is probably something that will screw with out minds. We need to focus if we actually want to get out of here" Shoto calmly said, but there was a hint of uncertainty in his voice, and there was a small layer of thin ice around his hand.
Katsuki sighed and sat down next to him "But what should we do, just let her Fuck with our minds? Let them do whatever kind of sick torture they have planned for us?" he clenched his fists, but then he sees the layer of ice around Shoto's hand.
"Oi you okay?" Katsuki asks as he stares at Shoto's ice covered hand
Shoto, who was staring into space, was brought back to reality and quickly melted the ice on his hand. "Yeah it just felt different, using my quirk" he muttered
"We should get some rest, hoping to get some sleep until we’re probably going to get either saved by hero's or tortured by villains" Katsuki muttered and stood up walking to one side of the mattress . Shoto followed a few seconds later laying down to the other side of the matress.
"good night" Shoto muttered trying not to touch Katsuki, which was pretty hard since it was a small matress
Katsuki noticed Shoto's struggle but didn't say anything. "yeah good night whatever" he rolled his eyes and tried to fall asleep
