Dandy was in his shop helping toons as he always does. There was no run today, so Dandy finally got to have a little break from having to do actual work. He was chatting with one of the mains when he heard the sound of glass shattering and materials being crushed. Knowing his beloved dog Pebble was last to go in this back room worried Dandy as he got up to check. As Dandy opened the door, he couldn't believe his eyes. His dog, his beloved best friend, stood there in the middle of the room, but it wasn't Pebble anymore. He was taller, meaner, with sharp teeth and claws. Vee walks beside Dandy to see what had him so shaken, but before she could even process this, Pebble ran forward and bit her head. Dandy stood there in frozen as Pebble tore at Vee, sparks and ichor and scrap flying around as Pebble chewed on her like a bone. The commotion catching the attention of other mains as they rush over to see what's happening. They stood in terror as they saw the scene before them, the terror being too much as Shelly started to cry. The noise caught the attention of Pebble as he charged for Shelly. She was quick to join Vee as a chew toy. While Pebble was distracted, Astro ran up and pulled Dandy away as Sprout followed close behind. Astro held onto Dandys shoulder as he spoke, "Dandy? Are you okay? What happened?" But Dandy just stood there as he was too shellshock to even speak. How could this have happened? His favorite and only pet was fine when he last saw him, and now it's eating his friends. Sprout smacks Dandy, which seems to finally get his attention, "Snap out of it!" Dandy blinked as he put a hand to where he was slapped."Ow! Uncalled for!" Before Dandy could go off on Sprout, Astro interrupts and tries asking Dandy what happened again. "I don't know, I just looked, and he was just..." Astro turns to Sprout."Go warn the other toons." Sprout nods and runs off as Astro leads Dandy to a bench to sit and try to calm the shaken flower. "We'll try to fix this, I promise." Dandy sat there and let his moon friend comfort him. After all, what else could he do? His comfort was short-lived as alarms started to blare throughout the Gardenview. Guess Sprout found out how to turn the lock down on. Why does a place like this even have one if it's meant for kids to run around and have fun with toons? He doesn't have time to think about this as he and Astro run to get in the elevator to go down to where all the other toons were being kept. As they got to the floor, it was loud with the noise of all the toons looking around and talking to others, confused about what's going on. Dandy steps up and uses an air horn that was lying around (Shrimpos doing probably) to get all their attention "everyone please, we're trying our best to get this situated." Dandy tries to reassure the crowd as Sprout joins them on the floor too, but Sprout wasn't looking well. As Dandy got a better look, he saw that Sprout was missing an arm. Some of the toons rush over to help Sprout as Dandy follows Astro into his room to get away from the large crowd. Astro led Dandy into the toom before going back out, probably to also help with Sprout. After some time, everyone started to settle down and go into their rooms and sleep. As Dandy lay there, he couldn't get the image of his pet dog twisted. Before Dandy could fully doze off, he heard the noise of stomps and gurgles. It sounds like the horrors aren't over yet.
