Work Text:
Anita and Cruella spend their date night in an unconventional way.
They've ditched the typical dinner and movie routine and opted for a karaoke bar, ready to serenade each other with their powerful vocals. As they step into the dimly lit room, the scent of old beer and cheap perfume fills their nostrils, but they don't seem to mind.
The place is packed with high schoolers, but they find a cozy corner booth, its red vinyl seats slightly sticky from spilled drinks.
Anita's dark hair falls softly around her ebony face as she leans into Cruella, her breath warm against the older woman's neck. She begins to sing, her voice low and sultry, "I see your true colors..."
Cruella's eyes narrow, a smirk playing on her lips as she joins in perfect harmony, their voices blending like a well-rehearsed duet.
The song continues, their voices rising and falling in sync, a private performance amidst the public setting. They're oblivious to the stares and whispers, too lost in each other to notice the attention they're drawing.
As the chorus hits, they lean closer, their foreheads almost touching, and their hands intertwine on the podium, fingers lacing together like a perfect puzzle.
The song ends, but the moment lingers. They stay frozen, foreheads still touching, eyes locked, and a soft smile on both their faces.
