Chapter Text
Have you ever heard of the tragedy in Encanto?
No? Well...
It was erased from the history.
Perhaps that's why you've never heard of it.
Well then, follow me and let me show you the story, a forgotten story.
Encanto:
Our story begins in early years of Encanto. The village was buzzing with joy. However, not every one was feeling the same way.
There was this woman, named Martia. She is furious because a long time ago, Felix married Pepa, not her. He was furious that she did not let it go. Like, ever.
So because of that, anger turn to hate and hate turns to vengeance.
Martia was angry, no. Furious. That Pepa took Felix away from her.
Well, there was a time when it was Felix's and Pepa's wedding. it was meant to be a great day. But Martia was angry, she barged in, only to be kicked out by the Casita and Felix told her he never wants to see her bothering Pepa again as she done nothing but causing her sadness.
"It was Pepa fault." She thought. "Felix supposed to be mine."
Furious, Martia packed up and moved out, went over the mountains and next to the river and built her house there. Perhaps to get away and be in peace, as we thought. Martia's three friends agrees Pepa was to blame and were the only one who knew about her existence. Soon everyone forgot about her.
Now, the city of Encanto was peace, everyone was quiet and happy.
Over the years the three friends updated Martia on everything. Even Felix's children.
"Felix made a mistake choosing Pepa over me." Martia thought.
Now, let move on to the present day, they day Antonio turned 5 and about to receive his gift. It was a pleasant yet anxious day. Years before Mirabel got no gift, people are wondering if Antonio will get none too.
And so a voice called out. "Antonio? Where are you? Papa got some Donuts!!!!" It was Felix.
Antonio was nervous, even more than other people. And now he is hiding under a bad, squeezing his toucan toy given by Mirabel after Camilo broke his toy the week before.
He was hiding, what if he fail? Well in his thought a footstep is heard. Antonio looked up to see Dolores, her kind sister. Perhaps the greatest sister he has ever had. Mainly because that is his only sister.
"Antonio, what are you doing? Mother wants us to get changes for the ceremony."
"Dolores." Antonio looked up " I am nervous."
"Don't worry. Everyhing will go fine. We will be there t support you. Mirabel will be there to support you." Dolores smiled weakly.
Antonio smiles a bit before Dolores continues.
"Now, let's get dressed, we do not want another rain storm if we are late."
"Okie dokie!"
Antonio ran out, but not to his mother room, but out of Casita. Casita was too late to stop him.
"I'm scared. What if they hate me like Mirabel."
Antonio sprinted far far into the dense forest.
He hid once he stopped. He sighed. He is going to hide here forever. That was his plan anyways.
But Antonio felt a tug at his arm. It was not abuela, it was not his mother, it was someone far worse.
Now back at the Casita, Dolores was bickering with Camilo over ruanas.
Camilo refused to wear this new ruana Dolores picked out for him, claiming it was too small.
"This ruana is the one fit for you. Stop throwing a hissy fit at nothing!" Dolores spoke sternly.
"I like overgrown clothes!"
"Well, not in a professional standards."
"When have we ever dressed like professionals?!"
"Just wear it and not make Abuela mad."
"It's too small! Look at it!" Camilo points at the ruana the Dolores was holding.
"This is your brother's ceremony and you need to look good."
"Well I ague that I-" Camilo paused when Dolores stopped and looked out of the Casita window. She was hearing things. No, she was hearing...the screams of a child...the screams of... Antonio?
"We need to go, now!" Dolores ran out of the casita. A confused Camilo rand out too, chasing after Dolores.
"What is going on!?" Camilo shouted.
"I hear Antonio! Something is wrong. Come!"
Dolores ran into the direction of the voice, into a dense forest. Camilo struggled to keep up.
"Wai- Dolores, wait!"
Soon, Dolores stopped in her tracks when she heard the voice. Calm down dear. Everything is alright. You are going home with me."
She walked slowly, with Camilo following her, confused.
"What is goi-"
"Shh!" Dolores quickly hushed Camilo as she saw a woman, tightly holding Antonio.
She has this dark black long greasy hair, she was in her black dress. Her eyes were like a eagle, as if if you look in its eye, you will die. She looked like she was in her late 40s or early 50s.
Dolores turned just to see Camilo dashing towards her. Dolores was too late to stop her.
"Let go of my brother you son of a-" Camilo was stopped in his track when a woman kicked him right in the chest.
Camilo did not give up, shape shifting to many people as possible to get his brother out of the woman grip.
The woman kicked him again, but this time harder. Camilo stumbled back, and then getting kicked again below the chest.
Dolores face went red as she saw both of her younger brother in danger. She ran from her hiding spot and straight to the women. Dolores kicked the women as hard has she could.
"Let. Them. Go. You. Motherf-" Dolores was interrupted when the women in turn kicked Dolores, grabbed her arm and pinned her against the ground with her foot.
Dolores cried in pain. Women pressed her down, hard. Dolores wheeze, her ear were ringing.
Antonio cried their names out. "Dolores! Camilo!"
"Huh," Women thought. "So those were the name that wretched Pepa named them."
Women looked down and thought. One of them shapeshifted and one of them are covering their ears.
Those were Pepa's children.
Soon everyone froze. The three children looked in fear as the women stood still.
She chuckles a bit, but that chuckle lead to a laughter, a evil laughter.
Camilo tried to speak but got interrupted when the women punched him in the guts.
"Well, what a surprise. Very nice to see you all actually. Oh and I won't forget the introduction." Women smiled like a snake. "I am...Martia. And you all are coming with me."
