My Sunshine

Summary:

Bright sunny day—Fugo walked down the streets of Naples. It was a nice day for sure, he just wished the sun would stay out his eyes, as it was painful to look up at the sky. Yesterday, Giorno had told him he wanted to meet him at the café.. For what reason he didn't know. But, it was about that time he was asked to be there, he was very punctual on time he wanted to on the dot, not early nor late.

Notes:

This is my first time writing fanfiction, so I'm very sorry if it isn't that great .. But I've been brainrotted with Fugio as of recent I love them so much

Work Text:

Bright sunny day—Fugo walked down the streets of Naples. It was a nice day for sure, he just wished the sun would stay out his eyes, as it was painful to look up at the sky. Yesterday, Giorno had told him he wanted to meet him at the café.. For what reason he didn't know. But, it was about that time he was asked to be there, he was very punctual on time he wanted to on the dot, not early nor late. If he was being honest Fugo definitely pined over Giorno, he was always so nervous, he wondered if Giorno ever noticed his behavior.. He could never look into his eyes, he was pretty good at making it seem like he made eye contact though. But, whenever he did get a glance at Giorno’s eyes, they were so alluring, like the ocean. He checked his watch—2:30, just on time, he pulled open the café door and stepped in. There Giorno was, he was the first thing Fugo noticed, he always was.

Giorno looked up at Fugo, a smile greeting him, he gestured for him to sit down. Once Fugo sat down he began speaking, “Right on time, Fugo. I'm glad you came.” He paused, glancing at Fugo for a second, then clearing his throat. “I've already ordered our drinks, and some cake too. Black tea, correct?” He made sure to memorize Fugo's favorites, to make sure this all went right. Giorno was a lot better at hiding his nervousness, unlike Fugo. Giorno always thought that small gestures meant just as much, maybe even more than normal gestures. He laid his chin on his hand, the smile still remaining.

“..You remembered?” Of course he did, Giorno always remembered. But, why did it still make his heart skip a beat? A tinge of pink appeared on his face, whenever he glanced at Giorno.. His smile was like the sun in Fugo's eyes, it was all he ever wanted to see. Giorno had dimples on his cheeks, so that just made his smile all the more magnificent. Giorno looked at Fugo in the gentlest way, he never really saw Giorno look at anyone the way he looked at him. He couldn't help but slightly fidget with his hands under the table, his hands being slightly sweaty. “You look really nice today, Giogio.” He almost tripped over his words, but thankfully he didn't.

Giorno softly laughed, “You think so? Thank you, Fugo, you do too.” He could tell Fugo was nervous and without even realizing it, almost instinctively, he gently put his hand over Fugo's from under the table.

Fugo, instantly noticed, how could he not? But, the shaking stopped, it almost felt as if Giorno had a calming presence within him. There were butterflies in his stomach, he never felt this around anyone ever, only Giorno. He didn't realize he was zoning out until Giorno called his name.

“Fugo?” He gently called out, “Your drink has been sitting here for a minute,” He could see Fugo had been lost in his thoughts.

“Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't realize I was zoning out..” He felt embarrassed to say the least, but he took a sip of the hot tea, Giorno had also got him a slice of strawberry cake, he took a small bite of that too. Giorno always got the herbal teas, it suited him. He tried playing it off and acting calm.

A few moments later, they finished up their drinks and cake. “Fugo? Do you mind staying with me a while longer? I want to go on a walk, and I'd appreciate it if you'd go with.” He really hoped that Fugo would agree.

“Of course.” His heart skipped a beat once again, he never could say no to Giorno. He stepped outside, the sun still bright as ever, but Giorno was truly his sun, he shined brighter than the sun ever could.

“I'm glad Fugo. Glad that I get to spend this day with you.” He took Fugo's hand without a single thought, leading him over to a nearby park. He stopped by a tree, Giorno took out a coin from his pocket. “Fugo, want to see a little magic trick?” He put the coin behind his ear, using Golden Experience, he turned the coin into a beautiful rose, making sure there were no thorns, he handed it over to Fugo.

“It's beautiful.. Thank you.” His hand lingered over Giorno’s, his face felt slightly warm. He thought Giorno's stand was amazing, being able to create life within an instant, all his could do was cause death.. He looked up at Giorno, his smile was the brightest one he's ever seen, and most beautiful. He realized his hand was still over Giorno's, but Giorno didn't seem to mind. So, maybe it was okay? His heart was racing; he couldn't tell if Giorno was flirting with him, but he couldn't lose this opportunity.

Giorno placed his hand over Fugo's, he was nervous too, but it was never outwardly shown. He took a few steps closer to Fugo, placing his other hand onto Fugo's cheek. He was now face to face with Fugo, “Fugo, is this alright?” He didn't want to kiss him and make him uncomfortable, he obviously wouldn't push any boundaries.

Fugo's heart was racing, being a little nervous was an understatement.. Especially since this would be his first kiss, he was worried he wouldn't do this right. He couldn't bring himself to say anything, so he just nodded.

Giorno gently cupped Fugo's face and leaned in, honestly this was his first time kissing anyone as well. He paused for a second, then gently pressed his lips on Fugo's, he didn't rush the kiss. It was just an innocent, gentle kiss.
