Dreaming was easy for Mizi. The moment she was created into this hopeless world she was like a beacon of hope for anyone around her. Growing up sheltered and protected from the sheer horrors of this world made it easy for her to dream and to have hope; which many children lacked. Showing great fascination for the singing competition ALIEN STAGE, her guardian chose to send her off; neither of them aware what horrors the stage brings. But it was fine. Mizi was strong, she could handle this. Even witnessing her God and her universe being shot mercilessly on stage, her crimson red blood staining Mizi's cheek until she eventually had to wipe it off for the following round, she had to stay strong. Hoping was easy for her. Holding onto a false hope of a better tomorrow was easier than accepting reality; the reality where her lover and her friends were all gone. No one was left in her life, not a single person left to hold her and wipe her tears.
Sua.. Oh.. Where can she begin? Sua to Mizi was like what a God was to a worshiper. To Mizi, Sua was immortal. Someone who wouldn't leave no matter what, yet her unfortunate demise shattered the illusion Mizi had of her. From being an indestructible God to becoming nothing more than a bitter memory. Her smile haunted every part of Mizi's day. The same smile she witnessed multiple times in the ANAKT GARDEN, and then the same smile she flashed at her before the gun went off in a swift motion that was so fast that not even her nor Sua could've prepared for it. But, it was alright! In Mizi's dream, her and Sua are alive and well in a universe without aliens. They get to go to an actual school, have friends and be together till they die of old age.
Till! She never really spoke with Till, but she cared about him just the same. Mizi always wondered if he hated her, from the brash reactions he had and his tendency to avoid her it wasn't surprising for her to think that. But it was only until the final round she has finally seen how much he cared for her. From the way he reached out for her as if he was about to place his entire life into her hands, and she failed to hold onto it. She remembers the scene clearly: the cruel cheers of aliens, Till's slowed breath, the blood spilling from his lips. But, she managed to hold onto him the way she wished to hold onto Sua. In her unrealistic and unachievable dream they would be an artistic duo of sorts. Her specializing in music as he drew the illustrations for her albums.
Ivan. He was her best friend! The guy she always turned to whenever Sua wasn't around. However, it seemed like not even she knew much about him. Mizi wasn't aware of that until his death. It was only then she realized how little she knew him. That his perfect prince-charming persona was just one big lie. However, Mizi didn't feel betrayed. He must've had his reasons. In her ideal world she can't imagine herself close to Ivan as they were back in the ANAKT GARDEN, but they'd still be friends. They'd hang out together. Eat and gossip and everything that would be normal to do if it weren't for aliens existing.
Hyuna.. The woman who saved her. Hyuna was lively, encouraging and fun to be around. Her passion for singing mirrored Mizi's, but Mizi wasn't sure if she enjoyed singing as much as she did before. Especially since her singing killed the love of her life. Mizi didn't know much about HYuna's past, but she knew she had quite the story to tell. Perhaps if they had more time they would've been able to learn about each other more. In Mizi's dream, as much as Hyuna was special to her perhaps there wouldn't be any reason to meet. The aliens didn't exist, so the rebellion doesn't exist either.
Even despite Mizi's grief, and the suffering that never seems to end she still had the strength to hope for a better future. Old habits die hard, as they say.
