Chapter Text
Izuku was in the forest practicing his photography with nature as his background when he heard a gruff yell from behind him
"Oi! Your in the way!" He turned around to see Kacchan behind him. They hadn't seen eachother since Bakugou had gotten into U.A. a few months ago and Izuku hadn't. After all it's hard to rip apart robots without a quirk.
"In the way of what?" He asked back innocently.
"IN THE WAY FOR ME TO PAINT DAMMIT! NOW JUST MOVE!" Izuku jumped at the yell and scrambled to the side deciding to take his equipment and photograph somewhere else. He found a tall building and took his camera up to the roof to photograph the sky and soon after he finished setting up Bakugou appeared once again on a nearby roof, again yelling at him to leave. After this happened twice more Izuku just took his bag of equipment and went home. He half expected Bakugou to show up there too but luckily he did not. The next weekend it happened again but Izuku eventually found a not too well known creek in the forest they played in as kids and Bakugou miraculously didn't show up to it. After he got a few photos done, he went to a nearby coffee shop that apparently sits you with strangers to hopefully start a conversation with someone you don't know yet. It didn't always work but it usually did.
He ordered and got seated next to a random- and it was Bakugou again nevermind. Bakugou looked like he wanted to explode but wasn't because they were out in public. Izuku wouldn't mind much but he feared Bakugou may actually implode instead if he didn't leave however before he could request a new seat Bakugou opened his mouth to speak.
"I started art class a but ago. I need to do a portrait of someone and turn it in by next week and my mom is forcing me to paint you. Meet me in the forest tomorrow afternoon and for once don't look like you got your outfit out of the damn dumpster." And then he refused to speak the rest of the time they were there even though they sat together the whole time they had their coffee. They ended up finishing around the same time and walking out together but Bakugou headed in a completely different direction while Izuku went home to panic over what he was going to wear.
He eventually decided on a pin stripe t-shirt with brown overalls and a pair of fake glasses he had for a Halloween costume awhile back that luckily still fit. When he arrived the next day Bakugou was already there with his canvas and paints set up and a stool a bit in front of it. Izuku went up to sit and the stool and Bakugou immediately started directing him on how to pose.
"Look up. Turn your head to the left. Up more. Put your hands on your knees. Straighten your legs up. Now don't move and inch. You have too many damn freckles! Why the hell is there so many!" Once Bakugou was done painting he gave Izuku another order before leaving. "The showcase is tomorrow and I need the person i painted to be present, be there by noon." And then Izuku was alone in the forest once more. He decided to go home and change out of the outfit so he could still wear it to the showcase by tomorrow. Apparently Bakugou decided to prank his whole art class because when Izuku got there he was told to sit in the same stool and do the same pose while the canvas was next to him and Bakugou told everyone that he had mad a clay sculpture as well. The illusion was broken however when Izuku needed to use the bathroom and bakugou bent over at the waist laughing as the whole class jumped when the 'statue' suddenly moved.
