Chapter Text
It hurts, it hurts so much. All the knowledge flooding into his mind causing his head to pound. The knowledge of what is and what was swirling together and creating a nausea inducing headache.
If only he was sitting down.
The rush of knowledge caused his vision to swim and made him freeze up, stumbling and falling back onto the floor. The only thing to slightly stop the fall from being as damaging was the carpeting of the archives.
Just make it stop!
Too much, it was all too much, it made him want to scream in pain and cry and it made him want to hide forever. And he did scream.
He didn’t notice it though, he was too focused on trying to clear his mind. Clear his mind of the knowledge of everything all at once. It was too much and it made his head feel like it was going to explode.
How did everyone before him deal with this so well?
His face felt wet and he didn’t know why but he wanted it to stop. He wanted it all to stop. He wanted to go back to before he ended up here and just choose to do something else, something that wouldn’t lead to him having to deal with all this knowledge.
If only it could stop. If only he didn’t have to deal with the large amounts of information he was just provided in a matter of minutes.
But if it wasn’t for this, he would’ve never met some of the people he thought of as friends. The people that used to be his friends before being taken from him by those things. The same ones that are causing him to have to go through this, but without the possibility of him dying like some others did because of the thing doing this to him.
Everything was too much, too overwhelming, so as he lay on the floor, once everything swarming his mind wasn’t as loud and without even thinking of how uncomfortable it would be, he started to fall asleep on the floor.
