Chapter Text
“Should we head to SEKAI and practice with Miku and the others?”
Minori sat on the floor of the roof, chugging a water bottle as Haruka spoke. She was beat… no, she needed to practice more!
Shizuku sighed. “Ah, sorry, everyone, but Shii gave me a ticket to her concert later. It starts soon.”
“It’s okay, Shizuku!” Minori smiled and looked up at the sky. The sun had begun to set. “Jeez, it’s getting late… I guess we should head home, then.”
“Oh, Shizuku, I’m gonna head over to Ena’s house,” Airi grinned. “For that sleepover with her and Mizuki. I dunno if you’ll have time with the concert, but come over if you want!”
“Alright!”
“Well, I guess I’ll see you guys later,” Haruka waved, already heading through the roof door.
“Ah, wait, Haruka! L-Let me walk you home!”
Haruka and Minori silently walked down the sidewalk. It was quiet, nearly nobody was around.
“So, um, Haruka,” Minori stuttered, trying to make conversation.
“Hm? What’s up?” the blue-haired idol tilted her head, looking at Minori.
Minori looked away, a bright blush covering her face. “N-Nevermind!”
Haruka simply stared at her for a moment before giggling, covering her mouth.
”Whatever you say, Minori. It’s getting a bit dark… let’s hurry home.”
“R-Right…!”
The two continued to walk, before pausing as they saw a black van waiting outside Haruka’s house.
Minori’s eyes widened. When she opened her mouth to speak, Haruka quickly covered it. “…We need to go.”
The brunette yelped as Haruka began to drag her away, running as she pulled out her phone to call the police. She felt her face heat up at the touch— no, not the time, Minori!! Glancing back behind her, she saw strangers behind them, running after them.
“Ah—! Haruka, run!!”
Haruka was focused on her phone, trying to lead them to somewhere there’d be more people. A store was nearby, thankfully. “Hello? Y-Yes, me and my friend, we’re being chased…!”
Minori continued to follow, thankful for the stamina all of her training had built. Something suddenly punctured her back, making her release Haruka’s hand and fall to the floor. It felt like she’d been shot— no, she couldn’t move… tased? Her back burned where she’d been hit.
Immediately, Haruka stopped, kneeling by her side. “Minori!!”
“Hh…” She couldn’t really speak, her vision slowly fading. The last thing she saw was Haruka, falling on top of her.
