Glamko's Confrontation

Summary:

Glamko gets caught coming back home after sneaking out at night.

Work Text:

Having sneaked out early in the night and spent the late hours wherever he had been, Glamko returned home just before sunrise and entered the house, a stumbling mess before he fumbled with the door behind him. There was silence throughout the place, bringing him reassurance that he could return to his room without anybody noticing...

"Where the hell have you been? You know it's late, even I'm not allowed outside this late. For God sake, the sun is about to come up any second now." a deep, scolding voice disrupted the silence, startling the young man.

Glamko's head whipped around to see dully glowing white eyes in the distance, their gleam breaking through the darkness before the bigger lights were switched on.

"Ugh... I just... I went out for a bit." Glamko stammered, unsure of what to say as Darko stood across from him.

"Well you look like you've had a damn rough night! Did an animal attack you? Does Glammy need Show to take care of them?"

"I had a great night, actually, but I doubt you'd know what that means."

"There's many meanings going through my head, Glam, one of which is downright fucking repulsive."

"Go with that one then. It’s probably the most accurate." the younger man snickered.

“You absolute—”

The two siblings were interrupted when another voice entered the conversation. This voice softer and calmer than the other two but just as stern as Darko’s.

"What are you two doing up so late? And why are you by the door, Glamko?" Poko stood in the hall, a frown on his face.

Glamko gulped, glancing around the room. Before he could open his mouth to state some sort of lie, Darko beat him to speaking first. Taking a step toward Poko, Darko quietly spoke.

“Glammy here has been out… And left the premises…” he said.

“He what!? ” Poko shouted. He stormed up to his youngest brother, putting his hands on Glamko’s shoulders and staring directly into the young man’s eyes. “Where did you go? When did you go? And why did you go!? You should know better, we can’t risk leaving the premises!”

“Oh my stars, get off my case, can’t a guy just go and have fun!? Just because I’m the youngest doesn’t mean you need to treat me like a kid!”

“It’s not about how old you are, it’s the concern of what would happen if people found out our dad has all these different versions of himself in real life… And again, where did you go and why!?”

“Clubs. I was bored, okay? I didn’t really do anything though.”

“”Not really doing anything,” isn’t what you implied to me.” Darko piped in, leaning against the wall.

“Just… Just shut up! Okay!? I’m sorry, guys… I won’t do it again.”

“What did you do at the clubs, Glamko?” Poko asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Nothing. It’s none of your business.”

“He’s clearly embarrassed, Po, put two and two together maybe you’ll figure it out.”

“You know what, how about we all just go back to bed? Glam and I can speak later. As long as he’s safe that’s all I care about, the rest we can worry about another time.”

Nobody said anything after that. Poko and Darko went back to their room while Glamko shamefully walked back to his. He should have known he’d get in trouble but… to say the least, he wanted to sneak out again. Maybe next time he wouldn’t get caught.
