The Flowers That Never Arrived

Summary:

After a long business trip, Bakugou called a taxi to take flowers to his wife, as his chauffeur had quit. What he didn't expect was that the driver would be Izuku, his childhood best friend, and that upon arriving home, he would find his wife with someone else.

Izuku, a young adult, was taking care of his godson, Kota, a boy who had lost everything and couldn’t be left alone. Struggling with financial problems, his job as a taxi driver was barely making ends meet.

Until he reconnected with his childhood best friend, which ended up saving him. Kacchan inevitably offered him a job as his chauffeur. And Midoriya, unknowingly, would accompany Bakugou through his divorce process and deal with three disastrous kids just like their father.

Chapter Text

Bakugou was outside the airport. After two months, he was finally home. He had traveled to the United States for business—sealing contracts and agreements to expand his company, a fashion business. He wanted to grow, be more successful, get more sales. And a lot of times, that means making sacrifices. He opened new stores and couldn’t be home because he had to personally supervise everything to make sure it all went according to plan. It had been devastating for Katsuki. He missed his family like hell.

At night, his alpha would beg for them to return, but Katsuki did everything in his power to ignore it.

He missed his beautiful wife and his three little monsters—his kids, his mischievous little devils. But now he was here, on his way home.

He couldn’t wait to crush them in a tight hug and cover them with his scent. He knew how much his kids hated it when he wouldn’t let them go. He just wanted to get home, hug them all, and have a goddamn amazing family movie night. He was so excited the happiness was swelling in his throat. He also planned to buy his wife a big bouquet of pink and white peonies—her favorite flowers.

If only some stupid cab would finally pass by.

He didn’t have anyone picking him up—he wanted to surprise them all. And of course, the dumbass of a driver he used to have had just quit recently.

The work environment isn’t comfortable.” he’d said.

Fucking bullshit. His kids weren’t angels, sure, but they’d never dare disrespect a worker. And even less his wife—she was sweet and kind to everyone. So Katsuki just said goodbye. If the guy didn’t want to be there, fine. He’d get someone else.

But now he had to wait for a taxi.

Suddenly, a honk caught his attention. Finally, a taxi. The yellow car stopped in front of him. Katsuki rushed to open the door.

“Good evening,” he greeted as he settled into the passenger seat and buckled up. “Take me to a flow—”But when he turned to the driver, the face he saw left him frozen.

That face was way too familiar.

Green hair and freckles.

Deku?

Bakugou?
