Who’s there?! Both Octavia & Hope gasped as they heard a rustling sound, Hope aimed her gun in the direction of the noise. While Octavia demanded whoever was eavesdropping on their conversation showed themselves.
Jeez, Blodreina, don’t shoot, Raven came out of hiding.
DON’T CALL ME THAT! Octavia hissed out, just before she turned to Hope nodding her head to her, indicating it was safe for her to lower the gun. Once Hope did, Octavia turned her direction back to Raven.
What do you want? Octavia asked. I wasn’t even looking for you, I just got tired of all the tension in the room & everyone babying Clarke.
Well, to be fair she was almost attacked, Raven.
Raven rolled her eyes, hasn’t that been happening since we all came down from space? Getting attacked? Octavia scoffed, look Hope & I were having a priv-
How did you do it? Raven blurted out seemingly out of nowhere.
Do what? Octavia replied, Get Clarke to forgive you? I mean what you did to her was worse than what I did, Raven chuckled. I honestly thought things were good between her & me after we saved Madi’s life. Right like you’re one to talk, Raven. Life you don’t hold grudges. Octavia looked around outside at the darkness before laying eyes back on Raven.
I didn’t do anything, Clarke & I understand one another, she knows why I sentenced her to death & yes even my brother. Besides, there is one big difference between you & me Octavia, you always maybe not hated Clarke. But disliked her. Raven scoffed at that, that’s not true… Yeah, it is, & it all stems from Finn. I’m not judging you, I always hated Echo, granted your circumstances & mine are completely different. But one of the many reasons why I hate Echo is because of the role she played in Lincoln’s death. Sure, she didn’t do the deed herself but she had a part in it. While you were forced to watch Clarke kill Finn, & you couldn’t do anything to stop it – to save him.
Octavia was surprised to see Raven’s face turn up into a frown, you make it sound like I think Clarke is a heartless murderer. Aren’t we all though? Sometimes that’s the only way to survive, Octavia replied.
Forget Clarke & Finn, Raven said a bit too quickly, Octavia could tell she touched a sore spot. Why did you sentence Bellamy to die? Raven questioned, crossing her arms.
Bellamy has forgiven me, why does it matter to you? Can’t you just answer the question? Raven repeated.
No, I can’t because much like Clarke told you, you were never in her shoes. Well, you were never in mine. So, you couldn’t possibly understand. But you regret it right? That wasn’t just an act. This conversation is done Raven, Octavia simply replied. I will not let you use me to work through whatever feelings – or issues that may be between you & Clarke.
BELLAMY WON’T LET YOU DO IT, YOU KNOW! Raven hollered as she watched Octavia & Hope start to walk away & was surprised when Octavia turned around to look at her. If you were really eavesdropping on my conversation with Hope, you would know it’s Clarke's choice & I’m not making her do anything. Nobody, not even my brother can stop her from doing what she wants to do.
Raven stared at Bellamy’s sister in horror, there must be something she was not seeing. Clarke wouldn’t just leave, well leave Madi even if she’s mad at her. She was there when Clarke fell apart over trying to save Madi’s life. Madi is all Clarke has now even if she doesn’t know it. That’s it – Clarke doesn’t know, Raven realized.
Clarke doesn’t know who Hope’s mother is, does she? Raven asked. Sure, Clarke is caring but there is no way she would put her life on the line for someone who tortured her.
Since you think you are so smart, why don’t you ask Clarke yourself then? But then again, you would have to get her to actually listen to you, wouldn’t you? With that Raven watched Octavia & Hope walk away. Bellamy, he would listen & believe her right, or at the very least maybe Murphy. Raven’s not sure how much sway Madi would have not even because of the tension between her & Clarke but because Wonkru itself it’s in the middle of having a civil war break out between them.
Raven kicked the dirt, as she wrangled her hands in her hair. Does she still hold a grudge over what happened to Finn, Finn who sadly she can’t seem to remember the last time she thought about him? There is time to rehash all of that later, Raven has to get Bellamy to listen to her – to believe her. That his sister hasn’t changed, then that is when it hit her about why Echo probably didn’t tell Bellamy what she did to Clarke because anyone could see how much Bellamy cares – hell maybe even loves Clarke. They were in space for a good three years before they even shared their first kiss. Him & Echo, not her & Bellamy, though she did have a threesome with them, something that did surprise her, she never considered herself bisexual or hell even bicurious. Not that there is anything wrong with it.
But damn it, something tells her to follow her instincts & to actually make sure that Clarke knows about whoever the hell this Bill guy is & that Clarke knows Octavia is planning on giving her up. Maybe that was why Clarke probably pretending things were ok between them for a while. She probably thought she would’ve seen Octavia for who she was- or was perhaps. That is something Clarke wouldn’t do trash talk Octavia to Bellamy. She would let everyone hate if it meant keeping Bellamy’s relationship with Octavia intact. Because let’s face sure Octavia sentenced her own brother to death sadly, but wasn’t always a matter of when he would forgive her not a matter of if. With that Raven took off running towards the cabin. She can make Clarke listen to her – right? Wait why does she care if Clarke is going to help save Charmaine? That’s a good thing Clarke is doing. But it still feels wrong. Something feels off about it. Then it hit Raven as she reached the door of the cabin of why she cares because of Abby. She wouldn’t want her daughter sacrificing herself needlessly. Abby did horrible things – hell everyone did even her – herself yet why is she still so intent not to let go of her anger over Clarke. Focus Raven, she thought to herself as she opened the door.
Make sure Clarke knows who Hope is, find out if she knows about Bardo whatever the hell that is.
But damn all thoughts in her mind went bye bye bye as she walked into Bellamy’s room in the cabin expecting to find Murphy, Emori, Indra, Madi, Gabriel, Jackson, Echo, etc… people there still but instead found Bellamy on top of Clarke kissing her as his life depended on it.
Raven knew she shouldn’t interrupt their moment. After all, this is ok, right? Bellamy & Echo did break up. But damn how could he move on so fast? But is she really in a place to judge, didn't she have sex with Bellamy not even a few mere hours after she broke up with Finn. No focus Raven, thought to herself as she tried to clear her throat subtly which didn’t work.
