[#1 Make Some Time For Me Too..]
Frustrated. Annoyed. Abandoned. That is what Bamby feels right now as he lets himself sink deeper on the soft surface of the couch, arms crossed against his chest, pouty lips, and eyebrows knitting together. Not far from him, he could hear his boyfriend, Eunho, talking to his teammates through his headphones. He's been busy playing PUBG with them all day, leaving Bamby sulking. He tried to act cute around him, but Eunho, not being able to multitask, always ignored him. He's been sulking in the living room for hours now but it seems like the younger male doesn't have any plans on stopping from that damned game.
So Bamby just camped in their bedroom, snuggling with Eunho's pillow, keeping his emotions at bay. He doesn't want to get dramatic over some silly game so he'll just force himself to sleep. Minutes later when his consciousness slowly slipped out of his body, he heard a faint noise. His body has relaxed but his mind is still aware of the surroundings. His nose caught a whiff of the scent he's been craving for all day. “Hyung? Are you sleeping?” Eunho's whispering voice immediately made Bamby’s heart pound but he made no move. He wanted to show a little childish side of him so he'll stay sulking while pretending to be asleep. He could tell the younger male still had the headphone around his neck just by the soft clatter of it. Then Eunho went out again, probably to finish his business.
Not long after, he heard Eunho's footsteps again re-entering their room. The slow shifting of the mattress behind him made him nervous. He doesn't know how long he can keep pretending to be asleep. Then, he felt the younger male leaning in, planting small kisses on his cheeks and forehead. Eunho's warm hands caressing his hair, arms, and waist before slithering it around him, pulling him closer to his own. “Hyung.” He continues to pepper Bamby some sweet kisses, even on his nape that almost tickled him. He tries to squirm, as if he's waking up from what the younger male is doing, but he heard the latter chuckling behind him. “I know you're awake, love.”
Bamby's breath almost hitched when he felt Eunho's hands creeping inside his shirt, gently giving loving squeezes on his skin that sent electrifying pleasure throughout his body. He almost lolled his head to the side when Eunho's lips went down his neck, giving endless kisses, his hot breath fanning over Bamby's sensitive skin. He couldn't take it anymore so he finally opened his eyes. “Eunho, the heck are you doing?”
“Comforting you.” his large hands slid down Bamby's bare thighs before going back up to his bottoms, groping gently. “Are you mad at me?”
“Stop it. I'm sleepy.” he tried to slip away from the younger's embrace but it just tightened more. “Eunho-ya.”
“I'm sorry, hyung. I just got carried away from the game.” Eunho stopped turning him on, his loving arms wrapping around Bamby like a protective cocoon, while apologising in a muffled voice behind his hair. “Please don't be mad at me…”
Bamby could feel the sincerity in his boyfriend's voice but at the same time, he wanted to see him panic over his little drama, such devilish thoughts popping in his mind. He pretended to frown and pout before moving away from Eunho's embrace. “You've been playing all day and you ignored me many times. How can I not be mad?”
It wasn't too long before Eunho wrapped his arms around Bamby again but it wasn't too tight like earlier. His face was also keeping a distance from him. “Hyunnnng, I'm really sorry. It won't happen again.” the younger male whined behind him, “Look at me, please, love.”
Of course Bamby didn't look at him. He knows he's weak for Eunho's droopy puppy eyes so to continue his own little parade, he just laid down on his back while his eyes were closed, the frown still hadn't left his face. His arms crossed against his chest were immediately untangled as Eunho squirmed his way on his chest, then spoke, in an unusually small voice he would rarely use, “It's fine if you don't want to look at me. Just.. hug me.”
Bamby had a warm smile drawn on his lips. It's like hugging a large dog who did someone bad that day. He couldn't contain himself any longer so he hugged Eunho tightly, inhaling the masculine shampoo he always loved. “I wouldn't be sulking like this if you just let me hug you while you're playing. I want you to make some time for me too.” Eunho pulled apart from their hug, red and pink orbs finally meeting halfway. “I'm really sorry, hyung. It won't happen again, I promise.” he pulled Bamby flusher to his body, his face buried against Bamby's chest.
“It better not happen again or else.” Bamby cupped his lover's face, squishing his cheeks together.
“I will do my best to avoid doing it again.” Eunho flashed his usual bright smile that made Bamby lean in and seal the promise with a sweet kiss. Then they switched positions, now Eunho cradled Bamby in his arms, his hands faintly ghosting over the older’s back. Before they knew it, both of them were wearing a smile on their faces as they slowly let the drowsiness win over their system.
[#2 A Side of Childishness]
There was tension as the couple walked back to where Eunho's motorbike was parked. The younger male halts beside his bike, sighing while the older male silently waits for him but keeps his distance from inches away, arms crossed, frowning, probably sulking over the fact that he was scolded earlier while they were having fun and drinking with their friends.
It was the peak of their party when Han Noah, the king of talking nonsense, suddenly targeted Bamby who's singing along with the music so loudly to the point that he's almost yelling, “Yah, Bamby-ah, aren't you feeling hot with that outfit of yours? Why don't you take your jacket off?”
Eunho, who was drinking peacefully that time, suddenly jerked his neck to Noah then to Bamby who seemed to be considering the older's words. He looked at his outfit before looking at Eunho, then to the rest of the group, “Should I take off my jacket..?”
Yejun, Hamin, and Noah collectively agreed but a voice interrupted them, “Don't. Don't do it, hyung.” Everyone looked at Eunho's direction, slightly surprised with the low tone of voice he rarely uses, indicating that he's not messing around this time. Bamby's dazed eyes landed on Eunho who's still keeping the poker face.
“Why? Why? Are you even controlling his clothing decision?” Noah, who sounds like he's also in a drunken state, asks Eunho. Hamin swatted Noah's thighs, as if to make him stop but the older male seemed to be wanting to hear his answer. Eunho slightly faltered but was determined to stay on his ground.
“It's not like that, hyun—”
“I'LL GIVE YOU A MILLION WON IF YOU TAKE OFF YOUR JACKET!” Another member lost in alcohol, Yejun, suddenly yelled that made everyone flinch on their seats except Eunho. With that, Bamby's eyes sparkled in an instant, not caring for the world, immediately taking off his jacket which revealed his inner black tank top. Now, his boyfriend's body was exposed, revealing some love marks and loving bruises made by Eunho a day ago from their ‘couple activity session’. Bamby told him to avoid leaving marks on visible areas like neck and collarbone so he focused on his arms and chest instead but now they're exposed without a care in the world. He saw the hyungs and Haminie’s eyes widened for a split second before acting like they didn't see anything. Noah, on the other hand, mouthed “I'm sorry.” to Eunho.
The younger male mentally slapped his forehead. Aside from not wanting the older male to feel cold, he also doesn't want to expose his body like that because he knows Bamby is quite a conservative person, especially if it's about their relationship. He tends to get shy easily, so he stood up, forcing Bamby to wear his jacket again before telling everyone they'll head home now. “Why? Why? The party hasn't ended yet..! Bamby whined while he's being dragged by Eunho, he looked back at his hyungs for help but they all encouraged them to go home and rest so he pouted then glared at Eunho.
It wasn't a big deal for Eunho if the world wanted to see Bamby's body. He takes care of his body a lot so it would be disappointing to hide it from the world. But Eunho has known Bamby very well like the back of his hand. He'll probably get embarrassed when he's sober tomorrow. In simpler words, he's preserving an ounce of his boyfriend's dignity.
“What's wrong with you?? I was already having fun and then you..” Eunho walks to Bamby, attempting to put his helmet on but the older, as stubborn as he is, weakly dodges his head. “I don't wanna go home. Leave me alone.”
Red, crimson eyes landed on Bamby before putting the helmet on again, this time successfully. The younger man made a serious face as he spoke again, “We’ll go home together, hyung. You can take off all your clothes there. Just.. not here.” He was now dragged back again by Eunho, his feet heavy on every step. He wonders why his boyfriend who's usually cool at those things, is suddenly being possessive and strict. “Get on.”
But Bamby, a stubborn and prideful man that he is, crossed his arms to his chest before rolling his eyes from the younger male. “Don't wanna.”
Eunho let out a sigh, “Hyung..” he reached out for the pink haired male’s hand, gently pulling it to him. His eyes that were sharp before, now hold the most warm gaze Bamby never imagined a human is capable of pulling off. His gloved hand gently caressed his hands, as if it's trying to make him soft. “Let's go home, please?”
He knows he's still a bit tipsy but for some reason, the heat that was emanating from Eunho's hands was enough to make him feel sober. He weakly pulled his hands back, eyes landing on the space on the bike that was meant for him only. “Alright..” with that, Eunho smiled a little, assisting Bamby until he's finally seated behind him. Just when he thought they'll finally go home, another problem occurred. He was waiting for Bamby to hold onto his waist so they could drive off but nothing came. Eunho glances back over his shoulder and saw Bamby keeping a gap between them.
“But I'm still mad at you so I won't hug you.” Bamby refuses to hold onto him, his arms back on crossing against his chest. “Drive now or I will get off.”
Eunho closes his eyes for his sanity, inhaling the cold breeze of the wind. He was too tired to argue so he tried to be patient once again. “You'll fall off if you don't hold onto me.” he says, trying to scare the older.
“I don't care.” Bamby didn't budge.
“You sure?”
“Just shut up and dri—AH!” Eunho heard Bamby screamed behind him as he sped off momentarily before stopping again, causing the older male behind him to finally hug him. However, he earned a smack and nagging. “DO EUNHO, YOU—I SWEAR TO GOD!”
“You're so stubborn, love. You're so hard to understand sometimes.” Bamby pauses, sensing the seriousness from Eunho's voice once again. He was about to talk back like he usually does but the younger one sounds like he's pissed off. “I'll get you home, back to your apartment so you can rest there properly.” Eunho said that made Bamby restless on his seat before finally driving off to the quiet highway.
Is he sending him off back to his own home? Did he finally pissed the patient and understanding Eunho to the point that he'll want to go home to their respective houses, not together? Bamby's heart pounded. He doesn't mind the dizzying sensation of the alcohol, now he's more concerned at the fact that he made Eunho mad. The whole ride back to Bamby's apartment was silent, neither wanting to speak. In Bamby's mind, he was overthinking things and trying to not cry while silently wishing for them to not arrive at his home.
As the motorbike slows down, indicating that they have arrived, Bamby now refuses to let go of Eunho, opposite of what he did earlier. “We're here.” But he doesn't want to anger Eunho more so he reluctantly releases himself from the younger male before clumsily getting off the bike, not sure how to meet his eyes. His trembling hands took off the helmet from his head but he doesn't want to hand it back to Eunho yet. Instead, he lingers there before faintly tugging on the younger's sleeve to get his attention.
“Eunho-ya, are you mad at me?” He asks in a small way he doesn't often use.
“I'm not mad at you, hyung.” Eunho answers, cold, not looking at Bamby.
“Then why didn't you bring us both back to your apartment?”
“I just want you to rest properl—”
“Nonsense! How can I…” Bamby's words faltered, the tears he's been trying to prevent from falling finally flowing down on his flushed cheeks. “How can I rest properly if you're not there...”
Eunho, finally noticing his dilemma, blinked rapidly as he saw his boyfriend crying in front of him. “Hyung?? W-why are you crying??” He swiftly took off his helmet before tending to the crying male, not sure what to do. “Bamby hyung..” he caged Bamby in his arms, cradling like a child, while caressing his back and hair. “Don't cry, love, I'm sorry.”
After minutes of calming his hyung down, Eunho gently caressed his cheeks and now looked at him with such loving eyes. “Hyung, tell me what's wrong. I don't want to send you off if you're not okay.”
Bamby, who's keeping his eyes on the ground instead of Eunho, speaks in a little voice. “I thought you don't love me anymore.”
Surprised by the revelation, Eunho held Bamby's cold hands, trying to keep his composure. “Why did you even think of that? You know I love you so much.”
“That's why I got scared. You took me back to my own apartment when usually we go home to yours. I.. I'm sorry for being hard to understand sometimes…” Threatening to cry again, Eunho hugged Bamby tightly. He lets himself be buried to the younger male's masculine but not strong scent that he always loves to inhale every morning. He was broken from his trance when Eunho cups his face to look at him, before feeling a soft kiss on his forehead.
“I'm sorry I made you think that way, hyung..” Eunho kisses him again, now on the nose. “..I promise to not do it again..” then on his both cheeks. Finally, his lips landed against his, a short but sweet kiss before meeting his eyes halfway. “And, I love you so so much. Don't you ever forget that, yeah?”
Now, Bamby bears a smile on his face as he nodded happily. They kissed once again before walking together to Bamby's apartment, hand in hand. “Matter of fact, why don't we just live together?” Eunho asks, his eyebrows wriggling.
“We can?” Bamby asks back, surprised but excited.
“Of course. At my place. We'll decorate it if you want..”
The young couple happily talk about their plan on their way to the apartment. And tomorrow, they will have a large-scale moving of Bamby's things to finally settle in one space that they call home.
[#3 A Not-so Possessive Bonggu]
In their almost 3 years of relationship, any person would think Eunho is the possessive one, well sometimes he is. But most of the time, it was Bamby. Despite his innocent features, he can be a little scary especially when he sees girls approaching and fawning over Eunho. It's much worse when the latter was unaware of the unnecessary attention he's receiving.
He does all those kinds of stupid attempts just to save Eunho from those freaky girls. For example, when they're on a date, and then he'll see girls asking for Eunho's number, he'll give them his own number instead and says, “This is the number of his boyfriend, if you like. Unfortunately, he's taken so he can't give his number to you all.” There were also times when he, as in Chae Bonggu, was the one they're approaching so they could get Eunho's number so easily. But he immediately shuts them down by saying, “I'm sorry but he's taken. He prefers my ass over yours.”
All those times he'd get a side eye from them but he didn't care. However, when he's with Eunho, he acts like a carefree boyfriend, allowing the latter to do whatever he wants. He even pretends to not care if Eunho would be surrounded by a thousand girls, but of course that's all just an act.
Tonight, Bamby was about to meet Eunho for their late dinner together. He texts his lover that he's already on his way, grinning like a psycho as he reads Eunho's reply, “Alright. Be careful, love. I love you.” His pink hair sways with the wind, almost hopping, to where their meet up place is. And then there he is, his Do Eunho, standing beside a bench, making himself busy browsing through his phone. Looking good as always, just wearing simple clothes but enough to make Bamby's heart pound in excitement.
He was about to call him because he's just a few feet apart when suddenly he noticed some girls, who's sitting at the bench, exchanging glances to each other before checking out Eunho from head to toe. Their gaze was sticky, clearly wanting to shoot their shot at his man who's as usual, not aware of the eyes on him.
Bamby lingers for a while, enough to hear the conversation, watching what Eunho would do. He clenches his fist as the mere sight of Eunho looking at the girls was enough to make his expression darker. “Oppa, you're so handsome. We're wondering if you want to join us tonight?”
Bamby almost snapped his bag strap in half. The girls were particularly bold tonight, skipping number exchanges and went straight to anarchy?! The heels of his foot tapped uncontrollably, restraining himself from pouncing on the girls as he waited for Eunho's reply. “Uh, sorry I have plans tonight.”
That's it?! Bamby screams internally. It seems like he has to teach his oh-so innocent lover how to avoid predator attacks. He scoots closer to where they are. “Aw, just for a minute. I promise it won't take long.” that one boldest girl trails her fingertips on Eunho's arm, obviously seducing, while Bamby's eyes twitch in frustration.
“Please don't touch me. I don't know you and I’m not going with you.” Despite being uncomfortable, Eunho speaks soft and polite, gently brushing off the girl's hand. Bamby was once again reminded how innocent and pure his boyfriend is. When they're finally lovers years ago, he swore to himself that he'd protect Eunho from the harsh world. And now is the time to do that again.
“You have such good physique, oppa, I totally love it. Why don't we g—”
“HONEY!” Bamby's voice rang through the streets, some heads turning to their direction as he boldly marched towards Eunho who's now smiling wide, his sharp fangs peeking out. Once he arrived in front of Eunho, he slithers his dainty arms around the latter's arms. “Honey, did you wait long?”
He definitely saw how the blush crept on Eunho's pale skin, starting from his neck up to the tips of his ears. Bamby isn't the type to call his lover such cheesy endearments but this time is an exception. “Don't worry, love, I just got here too.” Bamby smiled sweetly before yanking Eunho to his level and slamming their lips against each other. He boldly slid his tongue out and licked Eunho's plump lips before biting and kissing again. Through his peripheral vision, Bamby could see how the girls' jaw almost dropped, he smirks before pulling apart from their intimate kiss.
Eunho, who was embarrassed and surprised, hugged Bamby and slumping his face and hid his face on the shorter’s shoulder, he mumbles, “Hyung..” against his ear so the pink haired male caresses his back, then llicks his lips as he stares at the girls who still have their mouths open. He grins at them before speaking with the usual sassy tone he uses against Noah, “Enjoyed the show? Now scram.”
The girls dragged each other away from the scene while whispering things like, “Oh, too bad he wants some schlong..” “What a shame, I really wanted to top him though.”
Bamby lets out an exasperated smile, as if he won the hardest battle of all times. Meanwhile, Eunho finally pulled away from their hug, witnessing Bamby's victory smile. “Hyung, you're too bold. I didn't expect you to do that… especially in a public place.”
The pink haired male notices that Eunho was still embarrassed by what they just did that made him chuckle. “It's your fault. If you didn't let those girls near you, I wouldn't do that.” He gently wraps his arms around Eunho's warm body, while looking up to him. “You should know how to turn down girls who are flirting at you, Mr. Do.”
Eunho's eyes blinked repeatedly, as if he couldn't believe what he just heard. “I-I was being flirted on?!”
Bamby couldn't help but stare at his boyfriend with a deadpan expression. “You always are. That's why I'm always here to protect you from them.” Embarrassed to say those words, he pouted and averted his eyes away while their pinky fingers were tangled together.
The surprised look on Eunho's face gradually faded and turned warm. A sweet smile was drawn on his lips as they walked together, hand in hand. “Is that why you suddenly called me ‘honey’ earlier even though you find it cheesy?”
Bamby nods, still not looking. Then Eunho, feeling giddy, fixed their hands to fully intertwine them together, which made Bamby halt, faint blush grazing on his delicate skin. Their eyes met halfway, and with Eunho's loving gaze and low voice he spoke, “Thank you, honey.” before planting a soft kiss on Bamby's cheeks.
Maybe it's because of the cold wind tonight that Bamby felt their hands were extra hot together. His breath unsteady as he walks with the person he didn't even expect to be this close to him. He peeks at Eunho who's sporting a silly smile on his face that made Bamby chuckled. Through the crowded place, they didn't lose each other. Just like how many years would they be together in the future, Bamby and Eunho swore to protect the love they cherished for long long time.
#4 Their Love that had Bloomed (from different perspectives)
Mama Chae and Mama Wolf have been good friends for so long that their sons became best friends from childhood. They were both happy to see their children being inseparable until this very day. But one time, there had been changes in their relationship. And it was Mama Chae who first noticed it.
Eunho hanging out, or even openly sleeping in their household wasn't breaking news anymore. In fact, she even invites him to just stay for the night and she's happy to cook him lots of food because that kid is such a big eater, unlike his son. One evening, after they ate dinner, Bamby and Eunho burst through their front door, drenched from the heavy rainstorm that occured just this afternoon. “Mom!”
Worried, she took the kids in. They explained that while they're on their way home with Eunho usually escorting Bamby back to their house, the rain poured hard leaving the two drenched. Because Eunho's house is still several blocks away, they decide to just let the young man stay the night. Now, it wasn't anything malicious about them sleeping in one room together, in fact, they've done that since they're small children. But something about their stolen glances while eating, the way they whisper to each other while washing the dishes, the look of love that surges something nostalgic to Mama Chae. She knew something was on.
That's why Mama Chae couldn't resist the urge to peek in Bamby's bedroom where she would find those two tangled on the bed. Sometimes, they hug each other. Or the very much action they have done that proves her conclusion is when she found them sleeping with intertwined fingers. She gets giddy and fuzzy inside but maintains her composure before quickly telling Mama Wolf the news.
“Oh really?? Is that why Eunho is eager to meet Bonggu even if he doesn't have classes that day?” The two mothers squealed professionally. They were fond of their sons so they waited patiently for the day they finally had the courage to come out.
After graduating highschool, they celebrated the young couple and welcomed them with warm hearts. In the end, Bamby cried like a baby, not expecting to be accepted while Eunho laughed beside him, gently wiping the happy tears that had fallen from his boyfriend's face. When the party was over, they had a much more serious discussion and thanked their parents from the bottom of their hearts.
°°°°°°°°
As their college senior, Han Noah and Nam Yejun often sees Eunho and Bamby together, most of the time bickering but the quiet yet fond gazes they give to each other already raised the ‘Happy and Contented Relationship Flag’ that sometimes Noah was envious of. He has known Eunho for a while now and boy, his lockers would often be filled with love letters from admirers. Chae Bamby, on the other hand, wasn't any better. He was often getting asked out behind the campus grounds but he turned them down politely. That's when the rumors started that they are dating each other.
Every basketball game of Do Eunho, there will be Chae Bamby who cheers for him silently while holding several towels and water (a food on the side) for the silver-haired male. When Eunho makes a shot, the first person he'd look for was Bamby, instead of his teammates. And for every dance audition and performance Chae Bamby has, there will always be Do Eunho who'd watch him with loving eyes and warm, proud smile. They would go home together even if one is living in the dorms and the other still goes home to his parents’ home. Nonetheless, they were completely inseparable.
Nam Yejun and Han Noah watch them from the side, like proud parents seeing their mentally raised children grow together. They both witnessed how they had misunderstandings and fights that were immediately solved because they both can't stay mad at each other for long and would make up before the day even ends. Before they knew it, the whole campus hailed them as Campus Sweethearts, that even the teachers who'd normally go against it, just stared at them amusingly, as long as it doesn't affect their studies.
Sometimes they could be seen having library dates and even though Eunho wasn't the type to stay in the quiet, boring place such as libraries, he'd be willing to go there if there's Bamby, though he just takes a nap there while the pink haired busied himself studying and reading about plants.
Seonghwi Arts University became their sanctuary, the sole witness of their growing and blooming love towards each other. And when they finally say their farewells to the institution that shaped them into who they are right now, Bamby couldn't help but feel emotional. He entered the university grounds with Eunho's hands clasped with his together, and they also walked out of the premises with their hands held tightly together, not allowing even a second for their hands to be apart.
°°°°°°°°
Yu Hamin was Eunho's hoobae back in their university days. He remembers how fond he is of the silver-haired male because of his overflowing talents and energy. Eunho became his brother figure and secretly his idol, especially when playing basketball. Along the way of getting close to Eunho, he then met Yejun and Noah who were the Student Council President and Vice President at that time, and lastly, the pink haired male who became his sunbae at Dance Organization, Chae Bamby.
He idolized those two, learning they're also best friends. He tried to get close to them to ‘absorb’ their godly talents and learn from the best. There was a time when he was so fixated on pestering Eunho to teach him how to shoot, and how good he is when composing music that he follows him everyday, and even bribed him with food to stay with him every after school. He did that for a good week and then he noticed the change of Bamby's mood around him. It may be his imagination but he swears he could tell Bamby was mad at him because he's been teaching him hardcore choreography for a week too.
When he couldn't muster the courage to confront Bamby, he went to his Yejun and Noah hyung. “I don't know why but I think Bamby hyung is holding a grudge against me!!”
Yejun looked at him, concerned while Noah who's lying on the couch absentmindedly, hums in response. “Noah hyung, take this seriously please!” Hamin felt desperate as he said that, making Yejun look at Noah in all seriousness. That's when Noah finally puts down his phone and sits like he did nothing wrong. “Tell us what happened.”
After Hamin told them the whole story, Yejun and Noah stared at each other before letting out a laugh while Hamin looked at them with pure disbelief. Why are his hyungs just laughing at him? Even Yejun hyung who's composed all the time??
“Haminie… you're the one at fault.” Noah started, that made Hamin frown. He then told him that Eunho and Bamby are dating and how Bamby is quite possessive when it comes to Eunho. Hamin stealing Eunho for a week totally took a toll on Bamby so he's now punishing him in their organization. “Trust me, even Eunho is surely comforting Bamby right now.”
Yejun then interrupted, “But it wasn't your fault entirely, Hamin-ah. You should've told Bamby first but yeah, you don't know they're dating. So make sure to apologize tomorrow. Bamby is a good person, don't worry.”
The next day, Hamin prepared himself for the judgment as he entered the door of their organization. But he stood frozen when he saw a familiar face inside the room. Bamby was sitting on the floor, one of his hands holding his phone while the other absentmindedly caressed Eunho's hair, who's lying on Bamby's lap, sleeping sideways.
“Haminie, you're here.” He flinches at Bamby's voice. The magenta eyes that glares at him last week now bearing its original warmth“We'll start later, just let this idiot sleep for a while.”
He doesn't know what to do so he stiffly sits beside Bamby, making sure he keeps a gap between them. He mustered his courage to finally speak up, “Uh, Bamby hyung?”
“Yeah?”
“I wanted to apologize to you.”
Bamby slightly put down his phone from his face before looking at figeting Haminie. “Why?”
“Because I didn't know you're dating Eunho hyung…. And I stole him from you for a whole week.” Hamin sighs, “I'm really sorry.”
Silence came upon them, only the faint noise of air-conditioning could be heard before Bamby replies. “Huh? Stole??”
Hamin looked at Bamby, both of them with confusion evident on their faces. “Silly, what are you saying? I didn't even know you'd been hanging out with him last week. We're both so busy.”
Gaping his mouth open and close, Hamin decided to tell him the whole thing and when he finally did, Bamby burst out laughing, making the sleeping Eunho slightly shift from his position. “W-What? Why??”
Bamby wipes the tears from his eyes before finally speaking. “That Noah hyung really… First of all, I'm not mad at you, Hamin-ah. The hardcore choreography was requested by the professors so I can't change it. And the glaring was because I don't have enough sleep mastering that choreography.” The pink haired male leans against the cold wall. “I'm sorry if you thought that way but I'm absolutely not mad at you. I'm not that immature.”
Feeling the heaviness from his chest finally fading, Hamin sighs exasperated. “I really thought you hated me now… but.. are you really possessive of Eunho hyung?”
A smile erupted from Bamby's face before looking at Eunho sleeping with fondness in his eyes. “Well, I couldn't help it. I guess I just love this idiot so much I gotta protect him.”
The look of love Hamin saw on Bamby's face hits him like deja vu. That's also how his parents look at each other. Fond, sweet, and full of warmth. The comforting silence broke when Eunho finally opened his eyes, his eyelashes fluttering as he scanned his surroundings. “Wake up, sleepyhead. We're about to practice now and you're still sleeping on me.”
Eunho sat in front of Bamby groggily, not even noticing Hamin's presence beside them. Then the silver-haired suddenly slumped towards Bamby, hugging him tightly, which made both Bamby and Hamin widen their eyes.
And then when Bamby feels the familiar softness of Eunho's lips peppering kisses on his shoulder, he beckons Hamin to get out for a while which the younger understood quickly. He left the two lovebirds alone in the room, feeling refreshed before marching to the student council office to pester Noah and Yejun.
[#5 Nevertheless]
Eunho and Bamby have been in their loving relationship for more than 5 years now. Both of them were so eager to grow and maintain their relationship but nowadays Bamby felt like they are in their stagnant phase. Probably because of the usual “How are you not married yet?” “When is the wedding?” buzzing around him that eventually made him wonder if Eunho had any plans of proposing to him.
The concern made him do another set of stupid attempts, hinting Eunho about marriage. When they were having dinner, he talked about his colleagues getting married one by one, talked about the wedding videos he watched that absolutely made him shed tears and some proposal ideas he also saw on the internet. He watches every bit of Eunho's expression, if he would react at least but he saw nothing. The same warmth and bright face of Eunho who listens to him quietly.
The next day, he plans on leaving his laptop on while watching some wedding videos, pretending to be asleep on the couch. He then waits for Eunho to arrive home and when he does, he goes to sleeping Bamby, planting a kiss on his forehead like he usually does before finally looking at his laptop. In Bamby's mind, Eunho would watch the video intently but the harsh reality was the silver-haired male just closed the laptop without sparing a glance on it before carrying Bamby to their bedroom. Eunho goes to shower, leaving Bamby in their room, pouting.
He wasn't an impatient man at all. He wanted for them to have a steady growth of their relationship. But he couldn't just set aside the uneasiness he's feeling, especially at this month, Eunho's schedule is jam-packed. He recently had a big client to compose music for so he works everyday until late at night. They didn't have time to cuddle in bed anymore because Eunho also leaves early in the morning before Bamby could even wake up.
The stinging loneliness he's feeling was bottled up until he decided to join Noah's little drinking session at a nearby bar. After a few drinks, Bamby crashed out, crying and complaining to Noah about their relationship. He told them how their house looks cold and even their dog, Eunsam, feels lonely too whenever Eunho leaves the house. Noah also had a few drinks so he's spouting nonsense now. “What if he's cheating on you??”
The drunk Bamby jolted up from the table, processing Noah's words before bawling again. Noah was about to laugh when he felt someone hitting the back of his head from behind. “You're just adding more fuel to the fire. Stop making him overthink things.” Yejun sat beside Bamby, comforting him while Noah looked like a cat scolded by its owner. “Bamby-ah, don't listen to Noah's words. I've known Eunho for a long time. He's not the type to do something stupid like that.”
The comforting sound of Yejun's voice was enough to calm Bamby, nodding at his hyung's words. “I.. I just can't help it. I miss him so much.”
Yejun and Noah looked at each other, sighing. They understand their situation. It just takes time for them to fully adjust during a phase like this but they shouldn't just jump into a reckless conclusion that could be the root of a much more serious argument. When Bamby was finally wasted, they heard his phone ringing multiple times so Yejun picked it up. “Hyung! Where are you? It's already late and you're not home! Tell me where's your location so I can come to you.”
Yejun sensed the frantic voice of Eunho on the other line. He smiled before speaking calmly. “Eunho-ya, it's Yejun hyung. Come to this address…”
Exactly after 20 minutes, the silver-haired male appeared beside their table, huffing and covered in sweat. The tiredness was also evident in his eyes, and despite all that, he's here for Bamby. “Hyung..” he immediately slid beside sleeping Bamby and embraced him. Yejun could tell he was worried sick coming home without his lover.
“He's been crying all night, you know.” Yejun spoke which made Eunho look at him. “I told him to not overthink things but I guess he couldn't wait any longer. Is your business with that client still not finished?”
Eunho lets out a sigh as he makes Bamby sleep on his lap. His ruby-colored eyes scans his lover's features before answering. “I'm almost finished, hyung. I was also impatient. I wanted to propose to him as soon as possible but I don't want this to happen again. I…”
Yejun nodded. He knows what Eunho's been planning behind the scene. He knows how Eunho prepares his proposal without Bamby knowing. It's true that he's busy with a client but he doesn't slack off when choosing a ring for Bamby. He was also asking for good restaurant or place to propose on but if Bamby wanted it now, he would surely give in. Even without the extravagant venue and decorations.
When they finally got home, Eunho placed Bamby carefully on their bed, changing him into more comfortable clothes before wiping his warm body with a towel.
Eunho is not oblivious. He had noticed Bamby's attempts of persuading him for marriage, and it would be a lie if he said he didn't feel any pressure on doing it. He wants to give Bamby a better future. A future where he doesn't have to worry about a single thing. And for that to happen, Eunho needed to be cautious, to not mess up. That was enough to make him afraid. So he's taking things slowly. He was about to propose a month ago if this client didn't just come into the scene. Because of his jam-packed schedule, the proposal has to be delayed for a whole month. He was trying his best not to show his frustration while directing the group during the recording session.
He softly runs his thumb under Bamby's slightly swollen eyes. More than anything, he's afraid of making Bamby cry. He only wants happy tears to be shed from those beautiful eyes he had adorned throughout their lives together.
Eunho sighs, carefully holding his hyung's hand before placing a soft kiss on it. And then he whips the velvet red box from his pocket, revealing the sparkling silver band with their names carved on the inner ring. He's been waiting for the moment he would be able to slip the ring on Bamby's finger and that moment is right now. Slowly, he kneeled in front of him. “Hyung, I promised to myself a long time ago that we will be together forever. Ever since I found out that I wasn't just infatuated with you, I promised to myself to make you happy, even with silly things we usually do. So, Bamby hyung… I hope you agree to marry me.”
With shuddering breath and trembling hands, Eunho finally wore the ring on Bamby. It looks more beautiful on his dainty hands that almost made the silver-haired male cry. He leaned to his boyfriend who's not aware of his proposal before planting a kiss that he will never get tired of doing for the rest of their lives.

Bamby stirred awake on their bed, the familiar sensation of the soft pillows and slight sunlight creeping in between Eunho's black out curtains makes him feel fuzzy and alive, even though his head is aching a bit from drinking lots. His nose also didn't miss the comforting scent of home that made his eyes flutter open. He doesn't remember how he got home last night but it feels so good to be home so he doesn't pay any mind to that. From a distance, he heard a faint music playing, probably from their living room. He recognized the song very well. It was the same song Eunho used to sing to him when they were in high school.
I wanna jump in,
I wanna stand next to you
First time I saw you,
I didn't know what I would do
No words to explain the way I feel
No doubt in my mind that this is real
The wave of nostalgia hits his whole system as he listened to the music while lying down on the bed. He couldn't help but to smile as he remembers how beautiful Eunho looks while singing the song to him. His hands wriggled on the sheet but then he paused when he felt something between his finger.
I'm gonna give you all my heart
You're like a palace, made of art
Holding your hand forever more
When he finally raised his left hand, his eyes meeting the sparkling silver band placed perfectly on his finger. His brain short-circuited for a minute, took his grand time to examine the ring, he even pinched his cheeks and when it hurts enough for him to jolt awake, he rushes outside their bedroom, not even minding the ache from his head. Could this be..?
As soon as the living room was within his vision, he slowed down, eyes locked on the silver-haired male sitting leisurely on their couch, legs crossed, wearing glasses he usually use when working, laptop and musical sheets scattered on the coffee table. The music was coming from their house speaker, now he could hear evey syllables of the lyrics.
Let's walk the path just you and me
One million possibilities
Nevertheless I wanna say
I'll love you any day
When the first verse was finished, Eunho looked up to him and then smiled. The same bright smile that he shows to Bamby whenever they meet up and play outside years ago. The same bright smile that would lighten up his whole dull day. “Good morning, hyung. Did you sleep well?”
Bamby doesn’t know what to do. Did Eunho propose to him while he's drunk? While he's knocked out? What happened? Did he say yes? Did they kiss?? Did they have a picture? That's why he doesn't know what to do. Instead, he cried. He cried before launching himself towards Eunho who laughingly catched him on his lap. “Why are you crying again hm? Did you like my gift so much?” He heard Bamby sniffling beside his ear while hugging him by the neck. Eunho gently caressed his back, calming him down. “I love you, hyung. I love you so much.”
They stayed like that for long, just feeling each other's warmth against their bodies. And when Bamby finally pulled apart, face flushed red, their eyes meeting, both of them let out a soft chuckle. Bamby then cupped Eunho's face then peppered him with kisses before claiming his lips. Their tongues danced against each other in slow rhythm then eventually going fast and messy. They kiss like there's no tomorrow, their bodies flushing closer with full intimacy. As they pulled apart to catch their breaths, a string of saliva connected their moist and swollen lips. Everything was too much to bear.
Eunho held Bamby's left hand, kissing his palm and the back of his hands until he planted another ligt kiss on the silver band while his gaze locking to Bamby's eyes. “Bamby hyung, we've been together since we're young children who has no care for the world as long as we're having fun. We've seen each other's flaws, we've been together through ups and downs. But this time is different. I want to take another step forward with you, even if you bring along your plants.” They giggled for a while before Eunho clears his throat to speak again. “I already proposed to you last night while you're asleep but I want to ask you again… Will you marry me?”
There really wasn't any room to refuse. Eunho has been his whole life ever since they met. The overflowing feelings they have for each ither was enough to seal everything they had shared throughout their lives. Bamby has been waiting for this moment. The moment they took another step forward towards the future where they only see each other.
Words cannot compare to what they're feeling right now. And probably because of it, that's why Bamby repeatedly nodded before finally speaking the words Eunho had been waiting for him to say, “Of course… Of course I'll marry you, you dumbass. Let's get married and be happy.”
It wasn't anything grand. There was no extravagant decors, large flower bouquet, people witnessing their love unveiling. It was just them, inside their comfort, their own sanctuary, their own intimate space. The walls where the photos of their shared memories throughout those years being the only being the sole audience of the proposal. But Bamby doesn't care. He didn't mind.
Because he didn't need any glamour in life, as long as Eunho was by his side. Everything would be bearable.
Bamby almost yelp when Eunho suddenly lifts him up, carrying him like a cherished treasure while their dog, Eunsam, just watches them lovingly. His tail playfully wagged across the floor, almost like a broom. Eunho, who's also sporting a playful smirk, gently walks towards their bedroom. “Let's skip to the honeymoon part for a while.” Bamby blushed hard, weakly hitting Eunho on his shoulders, his laughter echoing throughout the house before their figures disappeared inside the room, leaving Eunsam confused outside.
The living room was now quiet, only the faint music from the speaker could be heard.
I'm gonna give you all my heart
You're like a palace, made of art
Holding your hand forever more
Let's walk the path just you and me
One million possibilities
Nevertheless I wanna say
I'll love you any day
