Summary
After escaping St Edmund’s in the early hours after the full moon (before Madam Pomfrey has time to arrive) Remus ends up at Grant’s shared flat, injured, exhausted, and not ready to face anyone else. Grant looks after his injuries and gives him somewhere to land. When Sirius and James track him down, Sirius bursts into the squat and is not ready for what he finds. Jealousy sparks immediately, forcing Sirius to face feelings he’s still deep in denial about. The story swaps between Remus and Sirius' perspective/POV.
This is an extension of the original scene from ATYD, adding more emotional and physical intimacy between Remus and Grant, and more tension between Remus and Sirius. Set the summer after the prank. I wrote this for myself because when I first read ATYD I was left wanting more from Grant in this chapter (I imagine that was the author's intention). I decided to share it though once it was finished, it's a little short but I hope you enjoy it.
