Work Text:

It was an ordinary day at the Blyndeff Toy Emporium, except for some reason Martin Blyndeff was behind the register. Molly quickly approached her father with a look of dread.

"Dad how long have you been at the register?" Molly asked scared to hear the answer

"Oh it's only been 1 minutes and 28 seconds" he answered still smiling without a care in the world.

"Oh thank God" Molly muttered in relief but her father chose that moment to speak up.

"Oh that reminds me I need you to make a delivery to the sheriff of Redwood, he ordered like a dozen large stuff animals" the man-child said has he pushed a shopping cart full of toys to her.

"Uh dad we don't do deliveries, also where did you get this shopping cart?" Molly asked.

"Oh I did some grocery shopping and brought the cart home, so glad they let you keep the cart you use" Martin said ignoring the first part.

"They don't" Molly muttered taking the cart.

"I'll go deliver it, did they pay with card?" Molly asked wanting to go before her migraine gets worse.

"Umm" Martin began to think before shrugging.

With a sigh Molly began pushing the cart hoping that the delivery won't take too long.

*4 and a half hours later*

Welp she knew she wasn't going to have any energy for the night shift tonight. But at least she finally made it to this ghost town. She passed by a guy who was crying about his truck saying something about how this keeps happening. She quickly made her way to the center of town but saw no one. Thankfully she saw the sheriff's office, unfortunately the sheriff wasn't there.

"Where is everyone?" Molly asked herself.

"Check the saloon" said a man who she somehow missed.

"Thank you mister" Molly said.

"No need for the mister I am just the Well Watcher" the man now known as the Well Watcher said.

With the tip Molly made her way to the saloon. As she was entering she accidentally ran into someone after the two quickly apologized she entered the saloon running into another person. Before she could apologize she was grabbed by a fat man and a guy with a barcode for hair.

"Nobody move we got a hostage" the fat man said.

"Ms.Blyndeff why are you here?" Percy questioned.

"I have a delivery for the sheriff" she answered.

"Oh my toys now I will have a bed" the sheriff said before handing Molly his credit card, taking the toys and leaving.

"*Sigh* Thanks for your purchase, now can you two let me go?" Molly asked while the two looked at each other an laughed.

"No your our get out of jail free card" the fat man said.

"Your a coupon we can't afford to waste" the barcode haired man said

"Oh you cut coupons too, nice to know I am not the only one who appreciates coupons and the money they save me" Molly said.

"Any chance we can keep her Bubsy?" the coupon man asked.

"No Arnold we need her for a distraction, think fast" the man now known as Bubsy said throwing Molly at Percy who effortlessly caught the girl while taking down the last of the grunts.

Bubsy quickly ran out the building leaving Arnold behind who was tripped by a guy with what Molly guessed was a rat epithet. Percy quickly tied up Arnold before approaching Molly.

"Are you all right Ms.Blyndeff?" Percy asked.

"I'm fine thank you for catching me" Molly said.

"No problem it would be best to get out of town this place is crawling with Banzai Blasters" Percy said.

"Is their anyway I can help?" Molly asked.

"Kid no offense but you don't look like you can help us" the rat man said.

"Well looks can be deceiving Mr.Rat" Molly said unintentionally wounding his pride.

"The names Ramsey kid, I'm a mundie" Ramsey said trying not to cry.

"Oh I'm sorry" Molly apologized.

"Eh no sweating it but now we need to find the big guy" Ramsey said.

"I refuse to talk without my lawyer" Arnold said.

Molly walked up to Arnold and took his coupon book. She pulled out a single coupon an ripped it in two.

"NO DON'T DESTROY MY COUPONS" Arnold cried.

"Then talk" Molly said.

"We were going to escape using the abandoned train station just please don't destroy them" Arnold said.

"Don't worry I will put these coupons to good work" Molly said as she pocketed the coupon book.

The three then walked out of the saloon as Arnold cried about his coupons while the barkeep said something about being blind and gunshots rang out. The three then made their way to the train station as quietly as possible. After Percy spotted some Banzai Blasters, thinking quickly Percy built some towers only for a deep voice to speak up.

"Percival King" the group looked up and say a very intimidating man

"Howie Honeyglow" Percy said.

"Mr Honeyglow how are you doing it's been years" Molly said happily.

"Molly what are you doing here?" Howie asked.

"Dad sent me to make a delivery, then I got held hostage and now I am suppose to go home but figured I would help officer Percy" Molly explained.

"I am surprised you two know each other" Percy said.

"I use to babysit the little bear and her sister on occasion before their mom passed away, after that I became too busy with work and haven't had the time to check on them" Howie answered as he quickly repaired the clock in mere seconds.

"What is this guy's epithet?" Ramsey said shocked seeing the man's skills.

"He is a mundie and one of the strongest people I know" Molly said.

"Wow" Ramsey whispered.

"Howie would you mind taking Ms Blyndeff home?, I rather not risk her getting involved with these criminals" Percy asked.

"Normally I would refuse anything you ask but if it is for the little bear I will do it" Howie said jumping off the building and landing in front of them.

"Let's go little bear it would be a good chance to catch up and see if your father has finally learned to work hard" Howie said as Molly smiled and the two left.

*Epilogue*

Martin was having a good night as he and Lori ate some pizza, bread sticks and cookies.

"I feel like I forgot something" Martin said.

"If you forgot it wasn't important" Lori said stuffing an entire slice of pizza in her mouth.

"I disagree" an angry deep voice said

The father daughter duo turned and saw Howie and Molly standing at the doorway. The two immediately felt a sense of dread as Howie approached them.

"Molly told me everything that has happened since the funeral and I offered my assistance to her" Howie said.

"Oh your going to work here too, not sure how much we can pay you but-" Martin began only for Howie to laugh.

"Oh I am not working for you, you two are going to work for me" Howie said putting hard hats on the two.

"Get ready to learn just how hard working is" Howie said with a evil grin.

"Oh good their is still pizza and bread sticks left" Molly said as she grabbed a slice of pineapple pizza and ate it.
