Y/N was nervously fiddling in front of the council. GW's rough voice rang through the room "So what the fuck is this stupid meeting about? Better make it quick 'cause I've got better things to do" Tiggy playfully jabbed his side "Shush brucey this is actually interesting". Rhin shot him an annoyed glare before gently smiling at y/n "Go on we're listening". They nodded "Ah yes uhm well... It's about your... Uhh mating seasons...". Lee's curiosity certainly peaked "Oh? Did something happen?"
Y/N: "Well... No- kinda? Well... You remember I went through that faux rut?"
Tiggy: "Hell yeah snacc it was hot as hell"
Y/N: "W-well in the clear-minded waves... I sometimes forgot what was happening and whether you were there... Because you W-wanted to..."
Tiggy: "Huh~ but of course I loved being there, what a silly thought to have snacc"
Rhin: "Well but they do have a point..."
GW shot Tiggy a knowing glare, clearly agreeing with Rhin but way too stubborn to voice it.
Y/N: "Anyway... I had an idea to uhm reassure one another in such situations... If you're interested that is?"
Rhin: "I'd love to hear your idea"
Lee: "Yeah!"
Y/N: "Well so... I've heard about... 'Free use' signals before... And I thought maybe we could agree to one and then use it to nonverbally reassure one another?"
Rhin: "Oh? That sounds lovely! Do you already have an idea what kind of signal that could be?"
Y/N: "I thought about wearing bracelets cause it has to be on the person to notice it in the first place"
Lee: "Makes sense! But that would mean we'd have to carry them around too, that could be complicated when the rut just pops up, you know"
GW: "And if they always wear it and just put it away if they didn't consent?"
Lee: "Throwing it away like lost trust?"
GW: "Do you have to interpret so much into it?"
Lee: "s-sorry..."
Rhin: "But that does seem like the most practical approach"
Lee: "Yeah that way we can't forget to put em on in the first place, we just always wear them"
Tiggy: "Sounds great!"
Y/N: was proudly smiling "I'm glad you like the idea"
Rhin: "Want to make them with me then Y/N?"
Y/N: "Uhhh yeah~"
