Red Riding Hood was told to bring food and medicine to her grandmother so she traveled to do so.
She was told by the wolf she should pick some flowers so she took the time and did, she was in no great rush after all.
Eventually however she could carry no more and continued along the path.
The door to Grandma's cottage was open.
"My what big ears you have!" She said upon seeing the figure in her grandma's bed.
"All the better to hear you with, my dear." Said the wolf, listening carefully.
"But, my what big eyes you have!"
"All the better to see you with, my dear." Said the wolf, eyes focused on Red Riding Hood.
"But my what big hands you have!"
"All the better to hug you with, my dear." Said the wolf, offering a hug to draw her close.
"Oh, I brought food and medicine! I'll leave the medicine here for you, I don't know how to prepare it." She did know how to prepare it for her grandmother, but not how to prepare it so it would be safe for a wolf, "There's a lot of food that I brought, Grandma. I don't know if you'd like."
"All the better to share with you my dear." The wolf replied, already doing better by the girl than she'd learned to expect.
