"Don't you think it's crazy Monoma still has it out for the Class A kids?"
"It is," Kendo sighed as she turned the wheel of her car. "We're third years already, and he still can't stand them."
"I'm right here," Monoma groaned from the back seat. "They just piss me off."
"Okay," Y/n rolled her eyes and disconnected her phone from the car. They had finally arrived at the Yaoyorozu residence, where Class 3-A was holding their end-of-year party. "Well, get over it tonight. I wanna have fun."
"You volunteered to be our designated driver tonight, though."
"I know," Y/n responded once the three 3-B members got out of the car. "I can still enjoy the party."
Kendo nodded and handed Y/n her car keys, which were quickly put into her purse when they reached the door.
"Welcome!"
Y/n turned her head to see Momo Yaoyorozu, wine cooler in hand, as she waved her guests in. Y/n smiled and waved as she followed her classmates into the kitchen.
"Where did Monoma go?" Y/n looked at Kendo.
"Look," Kendo turned Y/n's head to a counter that had cups stacked with various brands of liquor.
"You think Momo buys this stuff or makes it?"
"Both?"
"So true," Y/n chuckled as she grabbed Kendo's hand and made her way towards Monoma. "Hey, don't drink so much so fast. You're a lightweight, you know."
"Don't tell me what to do," the blonde scoffed before leaving the girls in the kitchen.
"Ouch," Y/n mumbled, letting go of Kendo's hand. "What's wrong with him?"
"What isn't wrong with him?" Y/n turned to see Awaase, red solo cup in hand.
"Awase! I thought you weren't coming," Y/n smiled as she pulled him into a hug. Kendo did the same once Y/n let go.
"Yaoyorozu asked me to," He rubbed the back of his neck, a blush slightly growing on his face. "Can't turn her down."
"Yeah, I wouldn't turn her down either," Kendo added. Y/n snickered to herself as she thought of a reply.
"Okay, we get it, you both want her soooo bad."
Kendo turned to Y/n, eye twitching and threatening to hit her, while Awase's blush grew as he excused himself out of the kitchen.
"You're the worst," Kendo threw her arm around Y/n's shoulder and pulled her close to her face. "No wonder you're perfect for Monoma."
"That's not fair," Y/n whined as she hit Kendo's arm off of her. "C'mon, let's get you something to drink."
After getting said drink, the two girls tried their best to stick around Monoma throughout the night.
At one point, Kendo ran off to find a bathroom, leaving Y/n alone with Monoma.
"Hey," Monoma threw his arms around Y/n and nuzzled his face into her neck. "I love you."
"I know you do," Y/n felt like her face was on fire.
"No," he locked eyes with Y/n, who couldn't read the expression on his face. She was usually so good at that. "I love you, Y/n.
"You don't mean that," Y/n pulled Monoma off of her. He looked up at her, hair messily covering his face.
"Yes, I do," god , Y/n thought, he was even slurring his words.
"That's cute," Y/n pushed his hair back, looking him dead in the eye. "Tell me that once you sober up."
Monoma stared into Y/n's eyes longingly. Y/n felt her heart rate speed up as she pulled away.
"I think it's time to get you home," she mumbled as she grabbed his arm and walked around the first floor, trying to find Kendo.
Once Kendo was found, Y/n grabbed her with her other hand and led her friends out of the house and back into Kendo's car.
Kendo whined about wanting to lie down, so Y/n let her take the back seat. Leaving Monoma to sit in the passenger seat.
"Y/nnnn," Monoma whined as Y/n buckled his seat belt.
"Whaaaat," Y/n groaned. Her face was merely inches away from his.
Monoma's eyes softened as he slowly leaned his face closer. Y/n moved back swiftly and covered his lips with her hand.
"I told you already," Y/n shook her head and pulled herself away from Monoma, closing the door behind her. "Do this when you're sober."
