Chapter 1: The First day

Chapter Text

As I walked into my new college, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement for the fresh start that awaited me in a bustling new city, I wandered down the hallway with eagerness, my eyes scanning for the administrative office. Lost in my thoughts and the thrill of this new chapter, I failed to pay attention to where my feet were leading me. Suddenly, a loud crash interrupted my musings as I collided with someone who felt as solid as a rock. Before I knew it, I found myself unceremoniously on the floor, my backside meeting the hard surface with a jolt. Looking up through a haze of surprise and confusion, I met the irate gaze of the individual I had inadvertently run into. His fury was palpable as he seized me by the shoulders, hoisted me up, and forcefully pressed me against a nearby locker.

"Do you not have the capacity to watch where you're going?!" his voice boomed with anger, cutting off my stammered apologies.

Stunned by the sudden turn of events and the intensity of his reaction, I tried to explain, only to be met with another outburst, his warning cutting through the air like a blade. Feeling his grip tighten, I braced myself for more confrontation. As he released me and stormed off, his disdainful glance lingering on me, I readjusted my clothing, silently chastising myself for the encounter. With a sigh, I continued my journey towards the office to secure my dorm key and class schedule.

Upon entering the office, I was met by a graceful, slender lady whose warm demeanor immediately put me at ease. Confirming my identity, she handed me the necessary documents, including my dorm key and a schedule that spelled out the impending start of my college journey. Learning that due to tardiness, I would be sharing a room with a male student, a sense of unease prickled at the back of my mind. Voicing my concerns about the legality of the arrangement, I was met with apologies and reassurances before she gently nudged me towards the dorm to meet my newfound roommate, promising his friendliness.

Gathering my belongings, I made my way to the dormitory building, the weight of uncertainty settling on my shoulders. As I approached the door of the assigned room, unlocking it with a sense of trepidation, I stepped inside and caught sight of him – the very same individual whose earlier collision had set off this chain of events – leaning casually against the kitchen counter, an air of familiarity already settling between us.
