Work Text:
As a rule, IPC employees lack boring days. At least Jelena doesn’t – every day of hers is filled with countless meetings, contracts and debt collections. As soon as one case is completed, another appears, and so on until the night. Jelena is used to communicating in different languages with the most intricate people and not so, solving controversial and even "dirty" cases that other workers wouldn’t even think of taking on.
But today a miracle happened – she had a free day. On a distant oasis planet, in the wilderness of the galaxy, she finished a business meeting with the locals much earlier than the appointed time. To her surprise, the deal was concluded almost immediately, and she was even given a room in a local hotel on the seashore, for such a wonderful and convenient offer.
Topaz tried to contact her superiors to report on the premature success, but the connection was almost non-existent due to the remote location of the planet. She sighed heavily – it seemed like the work was done and she could rest, but she didn’t want to waste any time.
The planet she stayed on was so beautiful. It looked like an island with a tropical forest and a transparent sea. The city where Jelena’s ship stopped was the most technologically equipped, but the architecture itself didn’t stand out from the general landscape of nature. The inhabitants looked pleasant and friendly, perhaps this was the reason why the deal was so easily successful – their simplicity.
A unique peculiarity that Jelena noticed during her stay here was the incredible number of apple trees. On this planet, there was a cult of apples – they had special healing properties, and replaced all the remaining fruits. People painted apples on the walls of buildings, had a lot of food products with apple flavor, organized holidays, parades and parties in honor of apples. This couldn’t but surprise, and Topaz thought that, if desired, it would be possible to even use this passion in the next deal – this resource could be useful, especially with such a large production. Apple trees were indeed everywhere, on every street corner, decorating the city. Surprisingly, apples even grew on the palm trees near the beach, their shape resembling bananas.
Topaz looked at her view of the beach from the window, thinking about her next steps. But her thoughts were interrupted by pleasant hands hugging her waist from behind, and someone's warm breath on her neck.
"Did you miss me, my little Jelena?" Jade purred in a velvety voice right next to her ear, causing a shiver throughout her body. Topaz could physically feel how her face involuntarily blushed from such closeness, and couldn’t help but smile.
"How did you end up here? I thought apples were more my thing," Jade asked, as she still didn’t get any answer to her first question.
"My deal wasn't about apples," Topaz finally answered, turning her head back slightly, looking at the woman with a warm and slightly embarrassed expression. "But I'm glad you're here with me, Lady Jade. Are you here for some business, too?"
Jade slowly shook her head.
"Not at all. On the contrary, I'm here on a bit of a vacation," she replied with a small, sly smile. "And didn't I already tell you not to address me so formally?"
"I apologize... I mean, sorry. It’s still a little awkward," Jelena muttered, feeling the color rise even more to her cheeks. Jade's body leaning against her back also wasn’t helping at all.
"Why the awkwardness, dear? We are alone, on such a relaxing planet, away from all the hustle and bustle. Even your pig appreciated the atmosphere,” she pointed her finger out the window at the Numby, who had been frolicking on the beach all this time, playing in the waves nearby.
Jelena looked at the view out the window and seemed to sigh in relief, although she thought she hadn’t been holding her breath before. “And you… well, are you here for a long time?”
“Hmm… three days.” Jade answered with a sly smile. “It’s not really long, but I think it will be enough for us, dear” she whispered as her hand slipped under Jelena’s shorts, gently stroking her thigh.
“For us?” Topaz swallowed, trying with all her might not to tremble from the touch and holding tightly to the windowsill.
“Of course, we will spend it here together, won’t we?” The woman grinned slyly. She was so close that strands of her hair touched Jelena's shoulders and neck, causing additional goosebumps.
Topaz was overwhelmed with a thrill from such a moment of closeness, butterflies fluttered in her stomach, she couldn’t even move from anticipation of something very, very pleasant. Jade's voice was so tender and caring - she never spoke like that to anyone, only to her.
Jelena only had enough strength to nod. She swallowed nervously. "Well, surely... I would never say no to you, Lady."
Jade sighed, but decided to not correct the girl. Her sigh alone, warming her skin, made her head spin. Topaz didn’t question anything, not how Eve found her room, nor how she entered here and how she agreed with the staff that she would rest here with her. None of this was important then, the only thing that had any significance was the playful hands already making their way under the tight suit, and the lips that were just itching to start kissing her all over her body, leaving behind traces of purple lipstick.

The past three days were filled with tenderness, touches and enticing words of love that no one else but these two deserved to hear. They spent sleepless nights in each other's arms, and days walking along enchanting views. Jade found a man who was an expert of the varieties of apples and instructed him to choose the freshest and juiciest for their dishes. Apple pie, compote, juice, strudel, pancakes, puree, jam, smoothies and much more made up their diet for the entire duration of their joint "vacation". But Jade's favorite treat was a regular whole apple, which she shared with Jelena, making her feel like the first sinner from old legends.
On the third day, Topaz's whole body ached from all experienced delight. She hadn’t felt so rested, happy and loved for a long time. She was surprised how a woman who acted extremely cruelly and domineeringly with others was always so affectionate and caring next to her. For this reason it was nearly impossible to look at her in any other way than with adoration and gratitude for the days spent here, and for every joint moment of their lives.
"Well, my dear Jelena, it looks like it's time to say goodbye," Jade said, gently stroking the girl's face, thereby causing her to smile. After this occasion, they are unlikely to see each other for the next few weeks or even months, until the next meeting or joint assignment.
"Yes..." Topaz sighed with a smile, still not recovering from the soft touch, and slowly opened her eyes. "I will miss every moment spent here. Thank you, Eve."
Jade didn’t react to her real name being said. She only smirked and slightly raised her head, with a look full of pride and great hope.
"I think fate will give us many more carefree and happy days."
