First year
Harry is always cold. Everyone around him always seems to be warm.
It's not fair, everyone else always has so much body heat. On occasion, taking off the heavier parts of their robes when it gets warm in classes. Why does everyone else get to be warm?
Ron always asks him how he can stand outside with his robes on and not be too hot.

Second year
Harry is still cold. All the time.
Others stopped mostly asking about how he doesn't over heat.
Hes gotten more used to being around Ron and Hermione and how they sometimes grab his hands when they want to cool down their own hands. Also when their outside in winte rand Harry mentions that he is loosing feeling in his fingers. Hermione mostly does it before tests or before turning in something big. Ron does it whenever he feels like it. In class, the common room, the Great Hall during meals. They've gotten into trouble in class multiple times for it.
It's weird when it happens. Harry isn't used to positive physical touch. Having his hands grabbed by people without warning scares him sometimes. It is nice though, getting to have warm hands even if its because of somebody else and it goes away when they let go.

Third year
Still cold. It's the only thing in Harry's life that hasn't really changed.
Ron and Hermione still grab his hands out of the blue, but others have started to as well. Ginny, Fred, George, Neville, and a few others. They all ask first though. Ron and Hermione just do it.
Harry's also gotten more comfortable with the physical touch from them. When he gets especially cold, he'll find and lean on one of the two. They don't really mind and just continue about their business.
The first time he did it, they both froze up where they were and didn't move for almost half an hour. When asked why they both thought that if they moved, Harry would get uncomfortable and leave. He assured them that he wouldn't have done it in the first place if he felt that way.
It still took the two of them some time to get used. Now when Harry does it, neither move or acknowledge him. Just let him lean on them for however long he wants to leech off their excess heat.

Fourth year
This year was the first time Harry had laid on top of Ron and Hermione. Not together, but he did it to both.
He made them stop what they were doing and laid right on top of them. It was warm and comfortable and neither ever protested when he did it.
He did often fall asleep on top of one of them doing this, especially if it was late and the common room was mostly empty.
Harry did it the first time right after the second task. He was colder than usual and Hermione had been right there.
She was sitting by the fire with Crookshanks next to her.
Harry had walked up, made her lay down, and got comfy.
Crookshanks then got on top of Harry. Which Ron found very amusing when he found the three of them later.
Harry had stayed like that with Hermione for about two hours. No matter how much she protested that she had other things to do. Harry stayed right where he was, comfy and warm.

Fifth year
Harry first got the idea on a very cold night in winter after detention with Umbridge.
He had been unable to sleep and had been staring at Ron.
The thought of burying himself under Ron's clothes and staying there for a while seemed very nice. He couldn't, how would Ron feel about that, Harry worming his way under his clothes and just staying there.
It still sounded nice.

Sixth year
Harry had done it. Buried himself under Ron's clothes and stayed there for a full night.
Ron had already been wearing large, over fitting clothes and had seen Harry staring at him.
He had offered and was very comfortable with the whole thing.
Harry had shoved his hands, arms and upper body under Ron's jumper and wrapped himself around the other boy.
It had been so very warm, and Ron's breathing and heartbeat quickly put Harry to sleep under the shared jumper.
The next morning had been a struggle. Harry had not wanted to get up, and it took Ron a solid ten minutes of convincing to get him up and out of his clothes.
Hermione had once walked in on a morning like this. Laughing at Ron's sad attempt to get the other boy up.
She didn't say anything about what she had seen or even really seemed to care. If anything, Harry noticed that she had started to wrap Harry slightly in her own clothes when he laid on top of her now.
It was nice, both were nice.

Seventh year
It had become a habit. Harry would burry himself under Rons or Hermiones clothes every night.
Neither would protest. They knew that he used it as a way of comfort. The feeling and knowledge of another person, alive and well. Somebody who he cares about that isn't dead. That hasent left, that cares about him, not the over-simplyfied, arrogant, perfectly fine version of him created by the public.
That was the main reason he did it, some if it was still because he was cold and they didn't complain.
When Ron left, that night Harry had fully burried himself under Hermiones clothes and cried. He had tried to comfort her earlier, but now it was later, he could understand. One of the people he cared about most had left. Left when he felt the most scared and alone.
It had hurt, more than Harry thought it would. He truly understood that once Ron came back. The feeling of relief and happiness when he came back. The happiness that he felt at having both is his best friends again.

After Hogwarts
Harry had realised after the war that he loved them. The reason he was so happy to have them both, why he felt the want to crawl under their clothes and be as close to them as possible. He loved them.
The day he realized this, he was scared to tell them.
What if they didn't feel the same, what if they saw him differently? This could permanently change their relationship, and the thought scared Harry.
They took it quite well. Apparently the two had been talking about inviting Harry into their relationship for quite some time by the time Harry confessed.
Now, he still would bury himself under their clothes, and would probably get under their skin if he could. The cold never went away, but it was easier to bare it with them with him.
Plus they had other ways of keeping him warm.
