Most of the time you were bound to the floor by a invisible force, but you can move now!
*you reach out to press retry, but stop yourself.
Wait. If you know where that goes to, and you can finally freely move.... what if you explore this void of blackness a little longer? It couldn't really hurt to see what's here before you return to the CORE and try to get past that laser barrier anyways.

*you walk so much, your legs feel like they will collapse at any second.

You hear a voice, quality bad as if a phone call was on speaker on this end... maybe it was though. "NO, PLEASE, DONT ABANDON ME, I NEED YOU, I WAS A NOBODY WITHOUT YOU, PLEASE KEEP BEING MY BUISNESS PARTNER, PLEAS-"
You heard a hanging up sound, the voice cutting off.
What... did you overhear exactly?
You sneak around, catching glimpses of a odd figure in a black sweater wearing a lab jacket, with a indescribable face. You weren't noticed yet.
*you snuck into the next room. You see a computer, emulating a odd void of blue, seemingly it a work in progress, a character building screen.
What?
That's a Wonderful idea!
What? You remember a sentence like you remembered a text back in the game over screen, but you can't remember who said it.
You find a save point.
*file saved.
You keep moving through this odd lab.
You see a vending machine, a sign reading "5 G for Compact Disk Bagels!"
You check how much G you have.
G: 1037
You recall buying and selling a lot of foggy glasses, plus betting on snail races and practically winning a lot of snail races. That explains the absurd amount of G.
*You put in 30 G, and receive 6 CDs with sesame seeds on them.
Odd, but it can do.

Guess walking that much literally was slowly killing you. And it doesn't seem that save point healed you either.
*you eat a CD Bagel. It tastes like 30 songs that nobody cares about but will always have affected history. And sesame seeds. You healed 10 HP!
You keep walking.
You find a empty doorway leading to nowhere in the middle of a room with a DT extractor, which looks more pristine than the one in True Lab.
*you pick up a photo on a nearby table, it showing the figure you saw a few rooms back with the skelebros. Odd, but you don't think on it. Mysterious Picture was added to inventory!
*you keep moving for the millionth time.

You see a light shield nearby, and equip it.
*you Equipped the Feather-esque shield.
*you sadly put down the bandage, trying to part with it, but decided on putting it in Dimensional Box B so you can have your cake and eat it too. You ironically see sponge cake in the box. You save it for later.
You hear a voice getting closer.

A force sends you out of your hiding place. You see the figure. A memory that is not your own pops up in your mind, it depicting this figure thrown into the CORE. Odd.
The force threw you into a wall.

You run for your life.
Spears upon gaster blasters upon bones upon bullets try to hit you, but you dodge and keep running. You see the doorway now has a proper door. In a panick, you open the door, enter through it, and slam it shut behind you, locking it. You don't bother to check yet where you are, but at least you escaped without dying.
You turn around and see a red soul creating a vessel, and many other traits.
