As Tezuka struck the match against the box, visions would conjure deep within the sparks. Then gradually become more vivid. Like a painting being made stroke by stroke inside the heat. He saw many things deep within the flame.

What could happen to Akiyama. The countless possibilities of Kido’s own fate, even if he didn’t believe him. Not that he expected anyone else to believe his visions in the first place.

Most didn’t.

This war was going to be a long and arduous one. But Tezuka knew what he signed up for once he took that deck into his possession.

Done for [community profile] tokuficathon! Prompt was Kamen Rider Ryuki: Tezuka (or Tezuka/any) - flame. It was nice to write some Ryuki fic again.
