The story of John by Anthony Everts 11th grade
Once upon a time. There was a kingdom far in a forgotten land. Their king and queen were sitting on the terrace of their castle, and their daughter came out to spend time with her family. When all of a sudden there was a loud scream. The head of the royal guard came running to where he heard the scream.
He looked at the terrace and saw that the king and queen were dead and the princess was missing. He slammed his hand against the table and cursed. He went down to the army and yelled, “Our King and Queen have been murdered and the Princess was taken.” The army was taken back and angry.
“It must have been the rival kingdom!!!” someone yelled in the crowd. He nodded his head and sent his men off to battle
. WELL LET’S JUST SAY IT DIDN’T TURN OUT SO GOOD. “All my men are dead?” he asked angry with the messenger,
“Yes sir they all died in the battle.” The guard was pacing in front of a now growing crowd. He looked to the crowd and asked, “Who here has an idea of how to get our princess back?” No one said a word, until a voice was heard, “I’ll get her back.” The knight looked at the farmer.
“What is your name sir?” asked the knight. “John” replied the man. The knight looked at the man and eventually let him go not expecting anything good to happen. So John left on his quest to save the princess from the rival kingdom. He was walking through the forest when he was stopped by the rival kingdoms army.
A man on a huge white stallion took off his helmet and looked at John. “What are you doing sir?” John looked up at him and said, “Well sir I am off to… Well you don’t need to know what I’m up to.” The man stared at John and told him, “Go away.” John didn’t budge, he looked at the man and said, “Move out of my way.” The man didn’t move, John once again told him to move. But the man didn’t budge. John told him one last time to move. The man refused to budge.
And then out of nowhere rabid animals ran out of the forest and started killing everyone except for John. SO I KNOW WHAT YOUR THINKING, WHY WOULD THE ANIMALS KILL EVERYONE EXCEPT JOHN? WELL THAT’S SIMPLE, HE WAS ONE LUCKY MAN. So John continued on his way, a little while after that he reached the castle walls of the other kingdom.
“What do you want?” said a man on top of the tower. John looked up at the man and said, “Let me into your castle.” The man laughed and told john no; so john asked again. The man once again said no. now john got mad and said, “This is the last time I’m going to tell you to let me in.” the man once again refused to let him in. When out of nowhere giant birds swooped down and picked people up and threw them down. One of the birds threw a man into one of the levers that opened the gate and it opened.
NOW ONCE AGAIN NO JOHN IS NOT A WIZARD OR SOME OTHER MAGICAL BEING, HE IS JUST A LUCKY MAN. John continued forward through the castle wall and found the tower. He knocked on the door to the tower and said, “Open this door now!!” and guess what happened? The door actually opened for him, he walked past the guards when giant scorpions came out of the ground and killed every guard there was in the tower. NOW I GET IT YOU’RE THINKING IM CRAZY FOR ALL OF THESE CRAZY THINGS HAPPENING BUT I HAVE TO TELL YOU. IT’S ALL COICIDENTAL HE’S JUST THAT LUCKY OF A PERSON.
John climbed up the stairs and broke down the door and there was the princess. She was sleeping on the bed and looked over to him once she heard the door shattering into millions of pieces. She ran over to John and he picked her up and took her over to the terrace and threw her off of the terrace. OK SO UMM YEAH THAT HAPPENED. JOHN KILLED THE PRINCESS AND YEAH I FEEL LIKE I COULD FINISH HERE BUT IM SURE YOU ARE CURIOUS WHAT HAPPENED OR WHY HE DID IT? NO? THEN OH UMM IM GONNA TELL YOU ANYWAYS.
John left the kingdom full of dead people and he held his head up high. Right before night fall he had made it back to his kingdom. The knight that had sent him on the quest asked, “Where is the princess?” A low murmuring was heard asking about the princess. John looked around at the people and said, “I killed her.” A hush fell over the crowd. “You… You what?” asked the knight. “I killed her” replied John once again. The knight pulled out his sword and pointed it out at John. “You better have the best dang reason for killing your princess.” Said the knight.
“John looked around and said, “I do, for you see I am but a simple farmer. My job requires me to be up before the first light of dawn. As you see on this very day I was out in the field tending to my cows when I saw the king and queen sitting in their chairs, sipping on their coffee when the princess came out and killed her parents.” Everyone looked awestruck at what he said.
HEY EVERYONE WELL THAT’S THE END OF MY STORY. I DON’T CARE IF YOU ARE CONFUSED. THIS WAS MY STORY TO WRITE SO I’M DONE.
