Work Text:
Our lives are too short to live with regrets.
Therefore, I don't have any. Everything I've done, I've always had my own best interests at heart.
I never said a word to you, because I knew the outcome wouldn't change in the slightest. Human emotions are strange, aren't they?
You would know. You're the one who taught me what it is to be human, how to love and be loved.
Whatever happens, I know you'll make it. That's just the type of person you are. You've never done things in your life half-heartedly.
Yet, a small part of me can't help but selfishly hope that you never forget me.
Every time you look over your shoulder, I hope you realize I'm not there.
I hope you miss the warmth of my fingers against your skin.
I hope you miss the sound of my voice.
Live freely, Till,
Like you've always done.
