Just earlier Thanos; his idol, his number one rapper, his number one person in general was calling Gyeong-su, "My boy Gyeong-su," making Gyeong-su feel so happy and special.
Now he was being kicked to the ground in a death game with a time limit, by said idol.

"WOO!! Thanos gang's gonna make it to the end!!!!" Thanos proudly shouts as everyone exits the room, the five other people in the room with them looked confused, exiting the small room. Thanos didn't mind them. They were just extras they had grabbed to make 10 for a room. Gyeong-su looks at Thanos, even though they had only been together for 3 days max, Gyeong-su was still so excited to be in such close proximity to him, he felt like Thanos considered him a friend.
I mean, that's what he told him before the game. Gyeong-su remembered those words exactly. The conversation was a key memory to Gyeong-su. He would cherish it forever.

"Hey...Thanos? I'm...really really happy to be friends with you! I mean...you make this place feel...safe?" Gyeong-su had said to Thanos, he had built up the courage to actually say something to him beyond their first encounter. Where he had basically made a fool out of himself, i mean...quoting one of his lyrics...really?
"Oh shit! Really?! Hehehe! Your welcome my boy Gyeong-su!" Thanos had said in response, smiling in such a genuine way. He wasn't under the infulence of drugs at that moment.

Gyeong-su was too happy in that moment, he was finally being recognized by his idol. Yet he felt he wasn't being as appreciative of this moment as he should. I mean, any person would die to have this once in a lifetime chance. To be fair, he also was in a killing game. But he kind of forgets that sometimes. Thanos just has this effect on him, maybe it was his unserious attitude to the life threatening games that made Gyeong-su think they're team was always going to win.
Like now, Thanos was being so upbeat, the atmosphere had been flashing with purple and pink and red, it had caught Gyeong-su off guard at first. But then Thanos lead his team to "victory" once again and found 5 other people and they made it to a room in time. Thanos was so good at these games...
Now as the first round of the new game "mingle" had ended, everyone was heading out of the room.
As the 5 people Thanos had found quickly left the "psychotic" drug-addict, Thanos didn't pay them any mind and was more focused on his original team, the one made up of Nam-gyu, Se-mi, Min-su, and his number 1 fan, Gyeong-su. "Thanos-gang 4-ever!!!!!!!!"
Se-mi glares at Thanos but doesn't make it to obvious, Gyeong-su could tell Se-mi was only in this team cause it would protect herself from elimination. That fact was enough from their first meeting. She didn't seem to like Thanos at all, I mean, she even made fun of him the first time they met.
Min-su was only here because Se-mi had kind of dragged him into the team, Nam-gyu seemed to have something against Min-su from the moment he saw him. Maybe it was because of how weak he looked. I mean, Gyeong-su or Nam-gyu didn't have much going on themselves. Which is why Gyeong-su didn't mind as long as they had a fifth member for the Pentathlon. He ended up being pretty good at Gonggi so he was glad to have had him on the team. Gyeong-su was lucky to have gotten stuck with Ddakji, he won way more times then the salesman anyways. But back to Min-su, he was nice to Gyeong-su, and actually acknowledged him outside the games. Gyeong-su can trust Min-su, he seems the least likely to strategise against him.
Nam-gyu is Thanos's best friend, they had bonded over having the same reason of going in debt(being scammed by a youtuber), he seemed almost attached to Thanos, Gyeong-su noticed him being very clingy to him. It was kind of weird, Well, Gyeong-su liked Thanos, In more ways then one, he had to admit., but that was just obsession to a degree above Gyeong-su's.
I mean...he's not even a fan of his music...I doubt he's heard one song of Thanos's! What a poser...I should be his best friend! I mean...back to Nam-gyu.
There's something off about Nam-gyu, like he's holding something back. Something dangerous. Maybe he was just slowly going insane inside this place, I mean, it certainly has potential to make someone go crazy. Gyeong-su also mentioned earlier, Nam-gyu has, like, something against Min-su, and also Se-mi? He's always bullying Min-su and calling Se-mi slurs. Like what the fuck?
But that was the "thanos-gang" as Thanos liked to call them. Gyeong-su was happy to be in such a group, even if 50% of the members were ones he felt weird about or indifferent towards. The 25% that was Thanos made Gyeong-su 100% happy to be in the group.
The Thanos-gang got back on the platform, nervous for the inevitable spinning, Gyeong-su cautiously stepped onto the platform, making his way behind Thanos. Then, the spinning started, it startled him for a second but you got used to it for a minute. What you don't get used to, is Thanos dancing through life- I mean, through the games. Like he was doing, as the the song hit the downwards playing of the xylophone notes or whatever, Gyeong-su didn't know music theory, he had locked arms with Nam-gyu and spun with him.
Maybe this was part of how you play mingle as children, Gyeong-su wouldn't know, he never had any friends to play this game with. All the kids thought he was weird. At school, in his neighborhood, even in his teen and adult years. He didn't have many friends, he ended up altering his personality so he could fit in with the "cool kids" at his old high school; but they turned out fake. But hey, thats what happens when you change yourself to make friends with people who won't originally accept you.
This Thanos-gang is the only friends he's ever had. Even if 2 of them were fake. Min-su's not a "would hang out with" type. He was friends with Thanos, genuine friends with Thanos. That was the best friendship he could possibly ask for.

Suddenly, the platform, stopped, startling Gyeong-su once again. The lights started flashing again, Gyeong-su guessed they were meant to fill you with a sense of panic. But it was hard to do that when Thanos's presence alone filled him with so much reassurance
"Four"
Shit.
Thanos's gaze snapped towards Min-su and Gyeong-su, occasionally Se-mi but for some reason she wasn't a option.
Wait he was considering leaving Gyeong-su behind?
Did what he said before mean nothing.
No, what did he have to worry about?
Min-su's just a weakling. Thanos wouldn't leave his number 1 fan since his first release behind for some weakling, right.
No that's not how Gyeong-su thought of Min-su. He didn't think of him as a weakling, he thought of him who treats him kindly but that was it. But, still, Thanos meant those things he said to him right?

Thanos thought he was a friend right? Right!? So why was he considering someone other than him!? This was a matter of fucking life or death! Gyeong-su gave everything for Thanos! He was the reason he was in debt!
"Thanos..? You aren't...please..." Gyeong-su says, his voice faltering as Thanos's gaze set on him, he smiled, before it suddenly turned to one of malice.
"Gyeong-su!" Thanos says, "You OUT!" He yells, suddenly kicking Gyeong-su, it hit him in his abdomen, knocking the wind out of him. He fell on the floor.
"Gyeong-su..!" He heard Min-su say, before getting pulled away by Se-mi, Nam-gyu was shocked for a second but quickly ran with Thanos after hearing a "LETS GOOO!"
Gyeong-su tried to regain his breathing, blinking hard, was he having a panic attack? No. No this wasn't real! Thanos wouldn't do anything like that to him! This is a dream he could feel! A premonition! Can you feel premonitions..? Gyeong-su didn't know. He didn't know what to say, he didn't know what to say, he saw a group of three running past him, considering it for a second but seeing his condition and the time they decided against it.
Oh my god the time! 15 seconds left!? Gyeong-su tried to get up, he struggled but managed to do it. He looked around, people were fighting, he tried to plead with someone to let him join.
"Please! Please...!" Gyeong-su says, to a group of 3, they all had X's on their clothing, they hesitated when they saw Gyeong-su's 'O', but they grabbed his wrist.
"NO TAKE ME INSTEAD PLEASE!" Said someone else, shoving Gyeong-su out of the way, they had an 'X' on their shirt, making the group welcome him, rushing to a room.
Gyeong-su looked at the time, then at the people around him.
No...No...WHAT!? This wasn't supposed to happen...right? He was supposed to survive with Thanos. Get that picture Thanos promised at the beginning.
He was supposed to get that...
God damnit...

"GYEONG-SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!" He heard a voice call out his name, he didn't have enough time to recognize who it was.
Because he was backing away from a guard with a gun pointed at him
Before several gunshots were fired, fired straight into his chest.
Killing him.
