Chapter Text
Every morning, Kim Dokja arrived five minutes early just to lean against the doorframe in Yoo Joonghyuk's office. In his right hand is a cup of the man’s least favorite coffee—sweet vanilla latte with whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles.
“Good morning, Boss. I dreamed of you last night. You killed me with your eyes again,” Dokja would sighed dramatically, extending the drink like a peace offering. “Want a sip of my love?”
Yoo Joonghyuk didn’t look up. “Leave before I call the security.”
“Ah, you remember me today. Progress!”
“I’m going to write you up.”
“You’ll have to fire me first.” In truth, Dokja wasn’t trying to get fired. He was trying to make Yoo Joonghyuk smile. Just once.
Joonghyuk stared at him. “Believe me, I’ve tried.”
Lee Hyunsung, sitting at the corner of the office, slowly got up and walked out—he’d learned better than to stay during 'the war in the early sun'.
