February 9th is Yang Jungwons birthday, and of course his members wanted to prank him. It's kind of a tradition between the members to prank each other on their birthdays, it’s a tradition that formed when they debuted.
But little did they know that their ‘prank’ would affect Jungwon more than they thought, the things they said went straight to his head.
“Guys!” Ni-ki whisper yelled excitedly as he’s practically bouncing off of the walls in excitement. Ni-ki, being the youngest of the members, is of course super excited to prank his hyung. He has always been like this on the members birthdays, so excited to see their reaction.
“I know how to prank him!” Ni-ki continues while grinning like an idiot.
“Okay but it has to be good because you know Jungwonie can see through literally anything” Sunghoon says looking at Ni-ki while raising both of his eyebrows.
“Hoon has a point” Jake says while looking at his boyfriend Sunghoon.
Jake and Sunghoon had been dating for about 2 years now, but they had never told their members. They were afraid that if they told them about their relationship, the members might slip up and say something that their fans would question and get hate for.
“Jungwon sees through practically everything, so pranking him without him seeing through it will be pretty difficult” Jake continues while crossing his arms, looking between Sunghoon and Ni-ki with a serious face.
“That’s true, but i think this prank he won’t see through if we play another prank on him first, so he won’t see this one coming” Ni-ki responds raising his eyebrows and giving Jake a pointed look while a smirk forms on his lips.
“That sounds complicated Ni-ki” Heeseung says after being quiet the whole conversation.
“Have you even planned the first prank?” He continues giving Ni-ki an unimpressed look.
“It does sound complicated, but if we want to successfully prank Jungwon, then we have to plan it out carefully” Sunghoon responds.
“Exactly! Someone who finally gets it!” Ni-ki exclaims, sounding excited while trying to high five Sunghoon, failing because Sunghoon slapped his hand away.
Ni-ki has been planning this prank for days because he really wants to successfully prank Jungwon. Jungwon has seen through every birthday prank they have tried to play on him on his past few birthdays, so pranking him without Jungwon seeing through it would be difficult.
“Alright, so what do you have planned for this prank Riki?” Heeseung says.
Ni-ki has been seeing a lot of comments from their fans that are commenting on Jungwons weight, so naturally Ni-ki being mischievous, wanted to prank Jungwon with something to do with his weight, he was planning for them to talk about Jungwon gaining weight behind his back when they knew he was listening, even though Jungwon hasn’t gained weight. While Ni-ki was explaining what he wanted to do, Sunoo looked concerned.
“What if this goes wrong Riki?” Sunoo says after Ni-ki is done explaining what he wanted to do for the prank.
“What if he takes what we say to heart? I genuinely do not want to say any of those things about him behind his back.” Sunoo continues, sounding concerned, voice shaking a bit.
“Yeah, I agree with Sunoo.” Jay says.
“I really don’t want him to get hurt by what we are going to say” He continues.
“Oh come on Jay hyung, you never turn down a challenge, he’ll be fine.” Ni-ki says, a challenging look on his face, a smirk creeping up on his lips.
It was true, Jay never turned down a challenge. And he sure wasn’t gonna turn down this one, even if it meant risking hurting the person he loved the most. He knew Sunoo was right though, he had a bad feeling about this but he chose to ignore those feelings, pressing them down. Everyone had a worried look on their faces, they all had the same bad feeling about this. Ni-ki, was oblivious to all of this though, but he too felt a weird feeling about this, but ignored that feeling, thinking it was nothing.
“Nishimura Riki. If this goes wrong, I'm gonna kill you.” - Sunoo.
