“ARMY MAKE SOME NOISE!”
Loud cheers and screaming filled the whole venue. The whole crowd went wild as BTS finished another song. The concert had been going on for about an hour now and everyone was still full of vigor.
The BTS members, although tired from their previous groundbreaking performance, were enthusiastically interacting with their fans. Namjoon, being the leader he is, was busy handing everyone bottled water to make sure they’re hydrated. Meanwhile, Taehyung and J-hope were messing and joking around with the audience, pulling Jungkook along with them.
On the other hand, Jimin was busy checking his mic and earpiece. His ear-monitor flew out of place during their dance break at the near end of their song. It went straight to their maknae’s side who luckily was fast enough to pick it up in time and avoid damaging the apparatus.
Jungkook held the ear-monitor until the end of their performance and subtly returned it to Jimin. Yoongi went to the youth to help him with his device. In the end, after fixing the problem, Jimin was quick to join Taehyung and the others to interact with their fans.
Yoongi sat quietly on the stage, too tired to be all giddy and energetic like the rest. As he was resting, he gave his members a quick glance to check if there is a problem and soon noticed that a certain goofball was missing. Not seeing their eldest member anywhere on the stage, Yoongi immediately stood up and asked Namjoon.
“Hyung went straight to the backstage after the performance. I went to check earlier while getting more water and I think he got injured or something,” answered Namjoon. He was clearly worried about his Hyung as he kept glancing at the direction of the backstage. “The staff kicked me out immediately to interact with ARMY and continue the concert, so I don’t really know.”
Yoongi gave a short response assuring their worried leader and made his way to where Jin is said to be. However, he immediately freezes upon arriving at his destination.
Everyone was in chaos. The staff are all clamoring, running from left to right trying to assist the guy sitting at the lounge with a medical staff beside him. Yoongi had no idea what the hell happened, but he is sure that it is something serious considering all those blood-soaked gauze near his Hyung.
“What the hell happened to you?” he asked as he arrived beside Jin. The older guy looked at him through the mirror as the medic forbade him to move his head.
“Oh, Yoongichi you’re here,” grinned Jin, earning a frown from the other. “Well, you see during at the end of our performance some of the fireworks went at me and hit somewhere around my ear as you can see. Unfortunately, the wire of my in-earpiece was also caught causing some electrical problem blah blah blah. Long story short, my skin got caught up when my earring got tangled as I tried to take my earpiece off from the shock.”
Seeing the tightly pressed eyebrows and tensed expression of the younger, Jin immediately reached out to appease the other. “Actually, it was nothing. It’s just a minor wound. It doesn’t hurt at all.”
However, the medic beside Jin just had to open his mouth this time. “What minor, can’t you see all this blood? Your skin behind your ear was burned and got cut. You’re lucky that your earpiece didn’t cut deep enough or a bit more you would be getting stitches by now. Aside from that your earlobe was also injured. You can’t even stop whining earlier when I was cleaning your wound!”
“…”
This guy doesn’t even talk to him that much a while ago and now he is blabbering nonsense. Can’t he see that Jin is trying to make the other less worried? Pig teammate! PIG!
“I’m really fine. It doesn’t hurt anymore at all.” Jin tried once again but Yoongi was having none of it. He gave the other a stern gaze before turning around to find their manager. He needs to make sure if Jin can still perform. They were only halfway through the concert and there are still a lot of difficult dance steps to do. If their manager or medic do as much as hesitate, Suga won’t think twice to have his hyung sit out until he was okay.
Yoongi conversed with the manager and medic longer than expected. Jin tried protesting many times that he could still perform until the end of their concert but after being at the receiving end of Yoongi’s glare twice, Jin decided to shut up. He’d rather pacify Army than face his friend’s wrath. No, that is the least thing he wants to do right now.
By the time the trio were done talking, the other members had returned backstage to change outfits and have a little break. They all fused when they saw his bandaged ear, asking if he was okay. Namjoon went ahead to change after making sure his hyung was alright while Taehyung and J-Hope started joking around.
Jimin and Jungkook, on the other hand, kept worrying about Jin that Suga had no choice but to push their maknaes to the staffs to change. Jin only sighed helplessly and thankful that everything was cleaned up before they arrived, or he would never hear the end of their worries. Dealing with the still frowning Min Yoongi was enough for him, thank you very much.
“You have to tell me if you ever feel any discomfort or pain, you hear me?” Yoongi demanded, living no room for Jin to say no. Yoongi stared directly at his roommate, as if daring him to as much as shake his head.
A soft giggle escaped Jin’s lips as he reached out for other’s hand. Yoongi’s hands are really warm. Squeezing it slightly, he smiled.
“I will, don’t worry.”
