Understand you

Summary:

— I just want to understand you Bassie, I don't want to cause you harm, pain and other things. I wish you only good and happiness. I want to help you. — she took her bonbon out of her back and placed it next to the basket. — Do you want..... Talk about it?

Notes:

I'll tell you everything briefly: I made this fanfic back in early May because everyone became misscharacter Bassie, namely making her the main hater of Cocoa, which pissed me off. So if you see in Bassie the one who wants Cocoa dead, and not the one who is simply afraid that she can be replaced and so distantly chats with Cocoa because of this fear, then fuck you.
I warn you about mistakes in text because if you are reading me for the first time, English is not my native language and I write everything through a translator.

Work Text:

Envy — that's how Bassie would describe her feelings for a certain toon.
No hatred for her, no wish for her to die — these are simply terrifying thoughts for a basket of flowers.
No.
She was simply jealous of Cocoa. Even though she didn't like it herself.
Black as ichor itself, was this feeling whenever she looked at Cocoa even once.
She looked more like main than Bassie herself, and the second one was deeply hurted by this.

— Bassie...?
Suddenly the voice of the rabbit sounded. At this time, Bassie, sitting on the floor and hugging her legs, looked melancholically at her small flower garden.
Hearing Cocoa's voice, she turned her head and asked with displeasure:
— What do you need?
— Just talk. — Cocoa replied, then walked closer to her, she sat down opposite her. — I've noticed for a long time how you look at me and—
— I'm sorry. — Bessie suddenly interrupted, turning her head away in shame and looking at the floor. — I really didn't mean to seem hostile to you, it's just....
Main fell silent, feeling a lump begin to form in her throat.
The chocolate bunny looked at Bassie with concern and wanted to put her hand on her shoulder, but she only jerked away from the attempt to touch.
Cocoa looked away uncertainly, thinking about what to say, and then said:
— I note this post too.
— What...?
Bassie asked, slowly turning her head to the other event toon and looking slightly shocked with her eyes.
— The note from Delilah. — answered Cocoa and looked at the basket with remorse. — I'm very sorry that she wrote about you like that and... That she compared you to me, hinting that I'm better than you.....
Bassie silently returned her gaze to her flowers and said nothing.
Cocoa looked at her friend and continued:
— I just want to understand you Bassie, I don't want to cause you harm, pain and other things. I wish you only good and happiness. I want to help you. — she took her bonbon out of her back and placed it next to the basket. — Do you want..... Talk about it?
This was the first time Bassie saw Cocoa so serious and....
Understanding?
She could say that, but the fact that Cocoa sincerely wants to help her and support her really touches her heart.
But the thought that Bassie didn't deserve such kindness took over her mind, and with this question from Cocoa, Bassie shook her head.
— No.....
—..... It's okay. If you're not ready, I can wait. Just.... Know two things. — Cocoa touched the basket's shoulder with her hand, causing it to turn its head, after which the rabbit continued with a gentle smile. — The fact that you are good the way you are. Even if you don't know who you really are, it doesn't mean that you are useless, you — a whole planet for the people close to you. And also that your feelings connected with me are normal. I am not at all angry that you are angry at me! Hehe.
That quiet, but so soft laugh... Bassie could listen to it forever but... She's not ready. Not ready to say everything she thinks, not ready to reveal her already weak spots and obvious fears. Not ready to finally be a real friend to Cocoa.
— Do you want to be alone?
Asked Cocoa.
— Yes.... Please.
Bassie answered sadly.
To which Cocoa nodded understandingly and, getting up from the floor, began to leave.
— Don't forget to come to dinner! Sprout and Cosmo will cook us some amazing food!
Cacao called out from afar and then disappeared.
Bessie looked at the chocolate left by Cacao.
Taking it in her hands, she examined the bonbon, and then began to eat it slowly.
