Chapter Text
“No! I don’t want to go!” Katsuki yelled, refusing to join his father in returning to their house. He was holding tightly on little Izuku’s hands whom was also the same age as Katsuki, 4 and turning 5.
“I’m sorry Katsuki, but we really have no choice, we have to move to America.” Masaru, Bakugo’s father, said firm but gently. He broke the news. He trying his best to get Katsuki back to the house to pack his stuff up.
“I’m not moving! Nuh uh! I wanna stay in Japan!” Katsuki stood his ground while he’s attached to Izuku. Izuku was oblivious of what was happening and assumed that Katsuki was just going on a vacation.
Bakugo was forced to move to America because his parents had received a good job opportunity that had a fairly large pay as fashion designers. Bakugo had just been playing and messing around with Izuku at the playground when until the bomb was dropped on him (get it? sorry). Bakugo hated the fact that he would have to go somewhere else and would just have to abandon Izuku all alone. His friend was only Izuku, vice versa, at that time and had known Izuku since diapers.
Bakugo had promised Izuku that they’d be the best gamers out there and that they would be best to each other for eternity. They’ve always looked up a streamer called ‘All Might’ and had always wanted to be like him.

“‘Zuku look!” Katsuki called out to the smaller kid next to him while tugging at Izuku’s long arm sleeve, “All Might is so good at the games! I wanna be like him in the future!!”
Izuku stared big eyed at the big TV screen that the Bakugo’s owned “Sugoii! I wanna be a gamer like him too!”
“Okay then! Promise me we’ll be the best streamers in Japan!” Katsuki held up his pinky for a pinky promise.
“Promise!” The freckled kid interlocked pinky’s with the blonde kid, sealing the promise.

Tears were welling up in Katsuki’s eyes. He couldn’t just leave Izuku here, he couldn’t. What would happen to Izuku? Will they still be able to meet, be in contact? He was in a mess. He didn’t wanna leave his bestfriend. Katsuki’s Father did everything to calm him down. It wasn’t soon before his mother had to show up and talked to him.
“You have to go Katsuki,” Bakugo’s Mother gave no other option “You’ll have to move to America.”
“No no! I’m telling you i wanna stay here with Izuku! please!” Katsuki pleaded so much, “I’ll be fine here alone! hmph!” That answer was obviously not accepted by Mitsuki, he was only 4 anyways.
“No Katsuki! you’re still 4, you’re still too young to be alone” Mitsuki said firmly but gently. Despite her usual brash attitude, felt bad for her kid and decided not be so harsh.
Katsuki wasn’t giving up and was persistent. Mitsuki let out a frustrated sigh. “C’mon Katsuki. You’ll be able to call Izuku everyday alright? You 2 will still be in touch. I promise.”
“O-okay…” Katsuki said between sniffled, “I just…wanna be with Izuku…”
Mitsuki gaze softened after seeing her son admitting that. “I know,” Katsuki was clutching Izuku’s hand. “He’ll be there before we leave. “‘Kay?”
Katsuki sniffed again. wiping his tears while Izuku Held his hand back “‘kay…” a silence soon followed. Only Katsuki’s heavy breathing and sniffs were heard.
“Izuku! Time for dinner! Come home!” A sudden voice broke the silence. It was Inko, Izuku’s Mother.
“Mom? Okay! Bye bye Kacchan! See you tomorrow!” Izuku ran back home. He was oblivious to the fact that Katsuki had to move to America forever. Poor little Izuku thought it was temporary or even a mere vacation.
“B-bye ‘Zuku…” Katsuki let go of Izuku’s hand and watched him leave. Izuku slowly disappeared from the playground as he ran back home to his mom.
“Let’s go Katsuki. I’ll cook your favourite curry tonight.” Mitsuki offered. Katsuki walked back with his parents, holding their hand as he started to calm down.
Katsuki eventually packed his things up, he especially put on green clip. He recently had gotten matching hair clips with Izuku a week ago. Izuku got an orange clip while he had gotten a green one.
On the day of the flight, the 2 families had gone to the airport together. They were quite close since Masaru, Mitsuki and Inko had been high school friends. Izuku’s father was working overseas so they didn’t see him that day. Now that Izuku had learnt that Bakugo was moving to America forever — after crying the entire night — the 2 boy’s eyes were red, puffy and swollen from the excessive tears. The 2 were also clinging onto each other while their parents were discussing and was talking about how they’ll miss Japan and friends.
The Midoriya’s and Bakugo’s ate dinner together, one last time. Talking about how much memories they’ve made and how they felt bad for their kids but it was for the greater good. The 2 families talked for really long before the Bakugo’s moved. It wasn’t really soon before the 2 families heard the announcement “Flight 322K, boarding now.” It was time. The Midoriya’s fetched and dropped the Bakugo’s off to the boarding gate before eventually saying their last goodbyes.
The poor kids had been crying and hugging each other tightly but now, they couldn’t hold each other any longer. It was time for the Bakugo’s to board.
“I promise I’ll call you every day! Remember to wear the clip!” Katsuki promised. As he tried to act tough in front of Izuku and folded his arms with a huff.
“Okay Kacchan, I’ll wait for you and I’ll especially will never forget the clip! It’s our promise!! ” Izuku smiled, wiping his tears away while sniffling and trying to be okay before waving goodbye as the Bakugo family boarded the plane.
Izuku had believed the promise Bakugo had made and waited for him to call. They called every single day without missing a day. Whenever they had called, it wasn’t on video chat so they started to forget how the other looked like. When Middle School rolled around. The calls became less frequent but Izuku still continued to wait for the phone calls. Bakugo had nicknamed Izuku “Deku” in middle school but Izuku didn’t really mind about it.
Izuku didn’t lose hope about the calls. He made sure to wait everyday. Izuku always tried to call but was always He in voicemail. Izuku wait for so long that he graduated from middle school and was entering high school and eventually lost hope.

“𒊹︎ LIVE”
Bakugo started up his live and was watching the viewer count go up as he was preparing the new game to play, an FPS game. Most of his fans were chatting with one another as he waited for more people to join the live.
Bakugo Katsuki, known as Dynamight online, is a well-known streamer around the world, with 20 million subscribers. He’s a Japanese streamer, but he moved to America when he was 5. He is around 19 years old now. He was homeschooled ever since he started making a good income from streaming, almost making as much as his parents.
“He was literally using cheats?! That isn’t fair!” Bakugo slammed his keyboard as he died in a video game. He was playing a regular FPS game that recently came out. After long hours of streaming, he eventually succeeded in winning a ton of matches in the game.
Bakugo started streaming at the age of 16, when he started getting homeschooled. He decided to pursue his dream even though his childhood friend, Izuku, or “Deku” wasn’t with him. It wasn’t going to stop him.
His viewers never knew his actual name. He was always referred to as “Dynamite” Even though his face camera was in, everyone knew how he looked like.
Bakugo would often do collabs with other content creators or streamers. He would usually do collabs with Chargebolt, RedRiot, Acidqueen or Cellophane. It was very common to also see these streamers stream and game together and their fans absolutely enjoy it.
Bakugo was a skillful streamer. He’s on top of his academics and is basically the best at everything he does. Many people looked up to him and admired him, so it wasn’t common for people to donate small amounts to the stream.
“Alright shitheads, that’s the end of my stream, and I’ll see you again in my next one. Bye fuckers!” Bakugo scoffed with a smirk as he ended his stream. He was known for cursing in his streams, being brash and abrasive so his streams weren’t usually kid friendly.
“Ding!”
Bakugo’s phone received a notification as he picked it up to see what it was. It was from Redriot. Redriot had requested if he could do a stream collab the following day. Bakugo didn’t have many classes, so he reluctantly agreed.
Bakugo lived in a big house. Ever since He and his family had moved to America and taken the job opportunity, his parents had started a fashion company not long after and now they were making figures on it. Bakugo was required to model in the magazines as well, despite his complaints, since the magazines featured a ton of the company, which made business increase even more. They were well-known and looked up to.
Bakugo had multiple cars, and he got his driver's license at the age of 16, obviously, as he’s great at everything. He was living the best life. Anyone could wish for.
Bakugo and his streamer friends were just chatting away and one of them, Alienqueen, brought up her other streamer friend Bakugo remembered something. He remembered a green blur. All he remembered was that he had a friend. A friend that had been so precious to him, yet he couldn’t remember his name or anything. All he remembered was a silly nickname that he always called him.
“Kacchan.”
That friend always praised him and looked up to him everywhere he went. They were inseparable and were always together, but obviously they had drifted apart ever since Bakugo had moved to America. Bakugo could remember spending a lot of time hanging out with him on the phone and even crying together when he had parted ways.
Although Bakugo was living the best life currently, he still had sometimes wished that they had never moved to America. It’s always been a wonder what things would be like if they were still in Japan. That thought alone kept him up at night in multiple occasions. He was a little shit in middle school and regretted cutting off contact but his pride never allowed him to start to call Izuku again. Fuck, he even forgot how he looked like, what if he would be angry at Bakugo? He didn’t care. It would just be awkward.
Bakugo tried his hardest to remember his childhood friend. Unfortunately, all he could remember was,
a green blur.
