Work Text:

When Earth and Mix announced that they were engaged, the entire BL industry shook. Many had already noticed for a long time that there was really something going on between them, and some even believed they were already married—especially their unhinged fandom. But their confirmation really hit differently because it was kind of controversial.

Mix had an issue—that he was dating an actress. It wasn’t the first time that Mix had a dating issue, but it was the first time that the actress involved was the one who instigated it in the first place. Mix knew that actress because she was one of his companions in an acting workshop back when he was just starting out in showbiz. She claimed that she had been dating Mix for a while and that they were in a secret relationship.

“How dare her,” Mix said angrily and threw his phone onto the couch. He leaned his head against Earth’s chest. They were sitting on the sofa—Earth was leaning back with his legs spread, and Mix was leaning against his chest.

Earth tightened his arms around Mix’s waist and looked down at him. “Why? What happened?” he asked softly.

“She posted our old conversation where I invited her to have coffee,” Mix rolled his eyes. “And in my defense, I was just being friendly. It wasn’t just her that I invited. I invited Win too. The three of us went to that coffee shop.”

“If I had only known she was like that, I wouldn't have befriended her back then.” Mix looked up and met Earth’s eyes, pouting. “What did the PR department and P’Som say? Can I respond to her now? I’m itching to reply to her fake news.”

Earth reached for his phone, then handed it to Mix so he could read the message from their manager. As Mix read the text, his eyes sparkled and a slow smile crept across his face.

“Is this for real?” he asked, turning to face Earth fully, now sitting on his lap. His eyes shimmered.

Earth smiled, brushing his hand gently up Mix’s back. “Yes,” he said, taking Mix’s hand and gazing at the ring on his finger—their engagement ring. “We can finally go public.”

Then Earth brought Mix’s hand to his lips and kissed the ring, eyes never leaving his. Mix’s expression was unreadable, a whirl of emotions swimming in his gaze. But one feeling was crystal clear.

Happiness.

Finally, the world would know that they will get married soon.

Now, Mix was looking at the photo he uploaded last year, when they announced their engagement. It was a picture of Earth kissing their engagement ring, and in another photo, both their smiling faces were visible, holding hands, with their rings clearly shown.

“Don’t be nervous, Mix. Remember, we’ll be there for you,” said his Mae as she approached him and hugged him. Behind her were his Po and his older sister, who gave him an encouraging nod.

They were inside the dressing room, waiting for the organizer’s cue.

“Mae, I think you’re more nervous than I am,” Mix joked, rubbing her back gently to ease her nerves.

“Behave, will you?” she said with a soft laugh, tapping his shoulder lightly as she let go. Her eyes were glassy. “Our Mikmik is getting married…”

“Let him go,” his Po added, walking over to place a hand on his wife’s shoulder. “We know he’s in good hands. We’ve known Earth for a while. We trust him. He’s the right one for our Mikmik.”

Mix’s older sister joined in, hugging him tightly. “We’re always here for you, okay? If Earth ever hurts you… just come back to us.”

Mix smiled and nodded, his heart full.

He was walking now—barefoot, feeling the soft grains of sand beneath him. As he faced the altar, he saw the face of the person he loved the most.

Earth.

The setting sun made his lover’s sun-kissed skin glow. His hair swayed with the gentle breeze as he smiled at Mix. And Mix couldn’t take his eyes off him.

Mix took a deep breath, willing himself not to cry just yet. The moment felt surreal. Every step he took brought him closer to the life they had only dreamed of, whispered about in quiet apartments, hidden behind closed doors, beneath the glow of studio lights and the weight of public scrutiny.

And now, here they were.

No scripts.

No cameras.

Just two lovers. Earth and Mix.

As he reached the altar, Earth gently took his hand, intertwining their fingers as if he’d been waiting a lifetime to do so in front of the world. Earth scanned Mix’s face.

“You’re breathtaking,” Earth whispered as he took in Mix's pretty face.

Mix let out a breathy laugh, cheeks flushed. “And you’re so handsome, love.”

Their guests were a sea of familiar faces—friends, colleagues, and family who had seen them grow together in the spotlight.

The officiant began to speak, but Mix barely heard a word. All he could focus on was Earth—his soon-to-be husband—looking at him like he was Earth’s wish upon a thousand stars.

“You ready?” Earth mouthed.

Mix nodded. “I’ve been ready since day one."

They both grinned.

As the vows were spoken, emotions swelled in every direction. Earth’s voice cracked as he said, “You bring meaning to my chaos, light to my darkest days, and calm to every storm inside me. I vow to choose you, every morning and every night, through every joy and every challenge. You are my home, my peace, and my greatest adventure. I love you—completely, endlessly, and always. You're my world, Mix.”

Mix takes a deep breath, eyes locked with Earth, voice trembling with love. “Earth, you became my calm in a world that never slows down. With you, I found a quiet kind of love—the kind that doesn’t need to shout to be felt. You are the steady voice in the noise of my days, the embrace that makes me feel safe when everything else feels uncertain. I may not be perfect every day, but I promise to love you even when it’s hard, especially when it’s hard. I promise to walk beside you in every step, to hold your hand through every unknown, and to never stop choosing you—on your best days, your worst days, and every day in between. With you, I am home. And with all that I am, I vow to love you endlessly.”

Rings were exchanged—no longer behind closed doors or whispered in secrecy, but beneath a golden sky that seemed to hold its breath for them. The sea murmured in the distance, the breeze carried the scent of salt.

“You may now kiss—” the officiant began.

But Earth didn’t wait.

He stepped forward, gently cupping Mix’s face and kissed him.

It was a kiss full of everything they’d fought for, everything they’d held back, and everything they now had the freedom to embrace.

The crowd rose with cheers—some clapping, some laughing, others crying as the moment swept over them like a tide.

When they finally pulled apart, foreheads resting together, hearts pounding in sync, They whispered to each other.

“I love you.”
