Why, why was he so scared all of the sudden? Mark let out a groan as the pain in his head only increased, his lungs ragged as he tried to take in more air. Roughly rubbing at his eyes, Mark gritted his teeth as he tried to slow his breaths, he was not going to cry again. Adults don’t cry, they fix things. He’s an… adult? Looking back down at his hands, Mark frowned at the small hands that were in front of him.
