Author’s Note
The following work is not supposed to be canonic to either the Odyssey or Smash Bros lore. I did this solely for fun after listening to EPIC: The Musical multiple times and realized I could reflect this onto the Smash Brothers. Full credit goes to Jorge Rivera-Herrans for creating this epic music piece in the first place (pun intended). The lyrics will be changed to fit the music or if I just want to because, duh, parody, and some of the characters were also picked to fit the characters’ personalities and/or fit the lyrics. All characters are strictly Smash Bros based, except certain crowds of people, because I don’t want to look too deep into lore in every game.
This is experimental, and I am trying out some lyric format, but if there are any ways to change the format to look better, let me know. I would recommend listening to the OST or instrumental/karaoke versions of these to help you with the melody. Also, I am very rusty with remembering the story of the Odyssey so this will be solely on the story interpretation of the musical itself. Plus, I have the graphic novel version, and I noticed a lot of differences between it and the musical version, so it was hard to get them to overlap.
There are some more adult songs, especially near the end of the musical, when they talk about sexual abuse, so if you would like me to label this story under rated M, I’ll do that when I get to the song. Or, I just give you a heads up about the specific songs that are more adult-themed and you can skip those chapters.
Also, updates will be very inconsistent, and writer’s block. While it is easier to just copy and paste the lyrics from the internet and just change the character names. I do want to try and add some narration and more so it won’t be too boring.
