Marcille walked up the stairs towards Laios' room. In her hands a tray with two deserts.
When her beloved heard of the new type of cheescake that recently became popular in her home country Laios of course wanted to try it. Coffee was easy enough to get, afterall Marcille's home country imported most of it's from Melini. Mascarpone was much bigger issue.
Laios would have loved to help her, but he was barely able to stand most of the time in his advanced age.
"Hello Marcille." He greeted her. She took the chair next to his bed, giving one desert to him and keeping the other for herself.
By the time she finished a single spoonful, Laios was allready a third of the way done.
"Slow down my love and savour your meal."
"I savour it like this too." Laios defended himself. "You eat slower, but we both enjoy it as much as each other."
She took another spoonful and when she swallowed only a thrid of Laios' tiramisu remained.
"Love please slow down, you are eating too quickly." She begged.
"I don't think I can." He told her regretfully.
She ate a third spoonful and by the time she was done, Laios has finished his meal.
"I wish there was more." He told her.
"Me too."
To that the tallman however did not reply.
