Loba was a bit tired of love.
Has it been a year since she broke up with Kairi? Yes. Is she over it? Nearly. But she still needs to heal.
So when Sparrow, a handsome, skilled, and new competitor slowly begins to flirt, she couldn’t help but chuckle. He was so very enamoured with her, and she was entertained by it, however she was not interested in him. Her type of man was more mature, more older, than Enea currently is. And she herself still had a load of baggage that was in the form of a robot, even if she is not trying to finish him off.
Loba gave up on that a while ago.
Though she noticed him getting along with someone else. Vantage.
Loba watched as the two bickered over and over again, trying to establish dominance over everything. My animal is cuter! My weapon is better! I’m more accurate! For all that though, it was not sourced from hatred, but rivalry. The bird’s teasing little dance was met with the bat’s small smirk as they constantly aimed to outperform the other, yet when the team was in a brutal fight, they worked in a very beautiful harmony.
Like Fire and Ice. Red and blue. Sun and moon.
Slowly, that rivalry grows into friendship. And Sparrow began to flirt with her less, which she saw as a good thing for him.

Mary sat in the stiff sofa that decorated the central area of the drop-ship, checking Newt just in case if something is wrong.
"Don't want a accidental shutdown again, don't we Newt!" She muttered, tinkering with the wires while taking mental notes on what parts to upgrade. In the corner of her eye, she spots Mara and Enea talking about something unbeknownst to her.
"Really! You could do that!" The young hunter exclaimed. The other smirked.
"Yep. All three apples shot."
She was happy that Mara found a friend her age. While she did make friends with other legends, they were all much older. Not a bad thing, but sometimes, some things were a bit difficult to relate to for her. Looking at Mara talking to Enea again, she noted how similar yet different they are. One is trying to get back to his family, the other is trying to get hers back. One was raised hidden away in cold caves while the other was raised hidden in a warm mansion. One uses the bow, the other a sniper. One stays behind, slowly picking off her enemies one by one while the other swiftly and glamorously takes them down.
"They would be a lovely couple", Mary thinks to herself, taking into account how Enea's eyes seem to slightly soften when Mara explains the time she shot a prowler in the eye. And how Mara started to smile when Enea talked about the weirdest man that he ever had to capture.

"There is definitely something going on between them!" Elliot whispered frantically.
Ramya rolled her eyes. Everyone but these two love birds saw that. The tension is so thick that you cant even cut it with a knife. You need goddamn Shiela to shoot it down. But if she hears one more declaration of love when they think that no one hears them then she swears to whoever is up there-
"I mean, Mara made a blanket for him! With birds and stuff on it! And Enea has been going on about this custom hunting knife that he wants to order for her!"
"Everyone knows this, Witt. This has been building up for a year and a half now, and they better confess soon or I swear," The mechanic grumbles while taking a gulp of beer.
"Or what?" He questioned.
"Or I will throw them into a room, scream to their faces that they love each other, leave them and lock the damn thing down."
"Oh really," He smirked, while cleaning the counter, " Maybe they will confess, maybe they won't."

Walter noticed that Enea and Mara did not return from their walk. He told Houndy that he is going to look for them, the latter telling him to hurry as not only is it getting dark, the meat is nearly ready too.
He spends 10 minutes searching though the forest, eyes open for anything delicious or dangerous. Walter was beginning to get a little worried, when he noticed chirps of laughter. But when he got closer, his jaw dropped.
There they were, standing between two trees, smiling and holding each other tightly like their lives depended on it. A red and blue blanket was wrapped around them, and a long, opened box that housed a beautiful, intricately detailed knife laid near one of the trees. Walter stared in shock as Enea raised his hand to stroke Mara's cheek, slowly leaning in...
And then they kissed.
Walters nearly gasped as the two embraced each other, quickly leaving them alone when he realised that they wont be stopping anytime soon.
"Good for them," he thought, happy for the newly formed couple.
