he's a real vampire (i might be in love with him)

Summary:

Sunoo believes that if vampires truly existed, they’d look quite like this:

Firstly, he’d be as pale as snow, his skin glistening in the light (alas, not under the sun for he might burn). It’d be silky smooth, like velvet. Sunoo would love for the opportunity to run his hands along it.

Secondly, he’d have prominent fangs, their tips peeking through when he smiled. His teeth would be pearly white too, the kind that Sunoo wants to run his tongue along. Bonus points if said vampire has dimples.

Thirdly, he has to be tall. You can’t have a vampire and then have him short—that’s a no, no, in Sunoo’s books. He should be tall enough to tower over him, enough to probably hook his chin on top of Sunoo’s head.

Funnily enough, Sunoo reckons he’s looking at a real vampire right now.

Notes:

very much loosely inspired by the recent en- behind ep, where hoon was asking sunoo to have some dinner with him.
please don't expect too much, this is just something goofy i whipped up because i didn't wanna study anymore and i was hitting writer's block again.

anyway, have fun reading!

Work Text:

Sunoo believes that if vampires truly existed, they’d look quite like this:

Firstly, he’d be as pale as snow, his skin glistening in the light (alas, not under the sun for he might burn). It’d be silky smooth, like velvet. Sunoo would love for the opportunity to run his hands along it.

Secondly, he’d have prominent fangs, their tips peeking through when he smiled. His teeth would be pearly white too, the kind that Sunoo wants to run his tongue along. Bonus points if said vampire has dimples.

Thirdly, he has to be tall. You can’t have a vampire and then have him short— that’s a no, no, in Sunoo’s books. He should be tall enough to tower over him, enough to probably hook his chin on top of Sunoo’s head.

Funnily enough, Sunoo reckons he’s looking at a real vampire right now.

Park Sunghoon stood in front of him with his hair perfectly slicked back, his long coat billowing behind him. The studio lights cast shadows onto his face that contoured his cheekbones and made his skin look almost translucent in the light. He laughs at something stupid Jungwon says, his canines showing through his pretty, rosy lips. His makeup artist motions for him to bend down, to which he parts his legs and gets lower, just so she could reach his eyelids properly.

Sunoo takes a swig of his water; if he shoved Sunghoon under the sun just to test his theory on whether or not the latter was a real vampire, would he be on fire? Probably not, Sunghoon’ll most likely sparkle underneath the midday sun, his skin white against the blacks of his shirts.

Sunghoon laughs again, and for a moment, Sunoo wondered if Sunghoon would bite his neck just for the sake of it. To, you know, test his theory . He’s a real vampire, after all.

“I’m telling you,” he tells Jake, grabbing his attention from where the other was preoccupied with his phone, “Sunghoonie-hyung is a real vampire.” He sighs dreamily, watching the way Sunghoon struts through the studio like it were a runway. “What brought this on?” Jake inquires, putting his phone down to give Sunoo his utmost attention.

Amongst the members, there’s been a consensus that Sunoo’s the most spoiled of them all—it’s not his fault that he’s pretty and cute, causing both his hyungs and maknaes to bend to his will (within reason, of course. He’s not a totalitarian). He grins when Jake waits patiently for him to continue, his feet tapping rhythmically against the concrete floor.

“Look at him,” he points at Sunghoon’s back, “He’s pale as snow, has real fangs, and he’s tall. Doesn’t that check off every box of what a vampire should be?” Jake snorts, “Sunoo-yah. He doesn’t drink blood, does he?”

Scoffing, he sips on his water again. “Have you ever considered vampires with non-human diets?”

“Vampires aren’t real.”

“Sunghoon-hyung is real.”

Before Jake could retaliate, Sunghoon manifests himself in front of them, situating himself on the arm of the couch closest to Sunoo. He reaches for the latter’s bottle of water, earning a hiss and a slap in response. He downs the last dregs of the bottle, placing it on the table as he turns his body to look at Sunoo. “What did you say about me?”

Jake watches the exchange with curious eyes, half of his face obscured by his hand.

“You’re a real vampire, right, hyung?”

Gaping at him, Sunghoon lets out a laugh in disbelief. “ What?

“You’re a vampire.”

“I mean, sure. Yeah, whatever you want, Sunoo-yah,” Sunghoon breathes out, pliant under Sunoo’s chestnut coloured eyes. Behind them, Jake suppresses a laugh. Trust Sunghoon to be the one to melt under Sunoo’s gaze.

Contrary to popular belief, Sunghoon was not as cold as some people deemed him to be. He entertained Jake and Jay whenever they had ideas for future trips they could go on together, played games with Niki when no one else could, listened to Heeseung rant about his days for hours, and let Jungwon act as childish as he wanted whenever and wherever.

Yet there was a certain someone who could do all of that and more.

Whilst Sunghoon was as lovely as the carnations that bloom outside their apartment complex in spring, he was also stubborn. He’s heavily opinionated and unwilling to share his things. If you caught him on a good day, perhaps he’d be more inclined to let the members borrow a sweater or two. He doesn’t even like it when someone touches his face, ranting on about how people’s hands are dirty and disgusting .

Jake watches as Sunoo leans forward and brushes something off Sunghoon’s face gently, his fingertips lingering longer than they should. “Yeah? So if I say you’re a vampire, then you’re one, right?” Sunoo’s voice was saccharine sweet, making Sunghoon liquify into a puddle.

“If you say so.”

He can’t believe that out of all the people he had to be stuck with, it had to be the two bumbling, oblivious idiots right next to him. One believes the other is a vampire, and the other is willingly agreeing to everything the former is saying. Hell, Jake thinks that if Sunoo asked Sunghoon to jump off a cliff, he’d willingly do it. For what reason? Well, to not disappoint Sunoo, of course.

Just then, a staff member calls out to Jake, “Jake-ssi! You’ll be filming in five minutes!”

Filming acting scenes that required them to focus on schooling their expressions to properly encapsulate the depth of emotion, ensuring that every subtle nuance was conveyed, were some of Sunoo’s favourite scenes to film. He narrows his eyes a bit more as he enters the elevator, his face emotionless, except for the daunting glare he sends to the others in the lift. He tucks his chin in slightly, peering through the sliver of the elevator doors.

When the doors open again, he fixes a more smug expression on his face, only detectable by the slight twitch of his lips.

“And cut! Good job, Sunoo-ssi! That was a perfect take.”

A triumphant grin graces his smooth face, the dips on his cheek creating whiskers. Sunoo pumps his hand up in the air after he bows to the two other actors, skipping his way back to the horde of staff crowded around the monitors. “That was really good,” their manager said, patting him on the back affectionately.

Once it was deemed perfect, he began making his way back to where Jungwon was waiting for him, only to be stopped by a tug on his wrist. “Sunoo-yah, you were amazing,” Sunghoon murmurs, his eyes looking at Sunoo with a certain fondness that was reserved for only him. “Oh really? Thank you, Mr. Vampire.”

He earns himself a few giggles from Sunghoon in response, cheering internally that he was able to make his hyung laugh the way he just did. “What made you believe that I’m a real vampire, hm?” Sunghoon tilts his head in question, his fingers still wrapped comfortably around Sunoo’s wrist.

“You’re tall, pale, and have fangs. How could you not be a vampire?”

Sunghoon chuckles, albeit louder this time, “You’re only saying that because we’re pretending to be vampires.”

“Uh-huh, sure, Mr. Real-life-vampire. You’re definitely pretending. I’m gonna need you to provide proof that you aren’t a vampire.”

Sunghoon tugs Sunoo closer subconsciously, as if it were innate for him to want the latter close by at all times (which has earned him the title of ‘Sunoo magnet’, respectively). “Well then, what’re some things you’d need me to do to prove my innocence?”

Sunoo hums, long enough to be almost teasing. “That you’re not blood thirsty at the moment and won’t pounce and kill me.”

“Yah! We’ve lived together for five years. I haven’t bitten any of you.”

“Exactly,” Sunoo begins, holding a hand up for Jungwon to wait a bit longer. “You haven’t bitten any of us. You haven’t bitten me.

“Which means you’re not blood thirsty, but who’s to say you’re not just a vampire with an alternative diet?”

“You should’ve asked me this when we first moved in together. Really, what brought this on?”

He ponders Sunghoon’s words for a while, forming reasons in his mind on why his hyung could be a vampire. Truthfully, he’s just messing with Sunghoon, spurred on by the lore of their concept cinema. Also, he was staring really hard at the other’s canines, fantasising about what it would feel like against his neck (he pushed away that thought as quickly as it came). But because Sunoo’s a bit lethargic, he says it aloud anyway.

“Your teeth.”

Suddenly, Sunghoon remembers Sunoo’s previous words: “ You haven’t bitten me.”

Did he want to be bitten? He searches Sunoo’s face for any hints of his true feelings, only to find his eyes trailing down the younger’s neck. Now, he’s speculating what it would be like to sink his teeth into Sunoo’s neck, perhaps leave a mark or two.

He shakes his thoughts away. This is not the time nor the place to be nursing his feelings for his band member. He hasn’t even told him he liked him, and yet he’s already imagining biting on his neck.

(There was a kind of mutual understanding between Sunoo and him that yes, there are definitely feelings involved between the two of them. They just haven’t had the time to properly discuss it.)

The younger boy beams again, poking his finger into the dimple that formed from his lips pursing together. “Don’t deep it too much, hyung.”

Sunoo was gone just as quickly as he appeared.

“Jungwon-ah.”

Their leader made a sound of affirmation, his head tilting towards Sunoo, but his eyes stayed trained on the TikTok Jay sent into their group chat. “Hypothetically, if I told someone I wanted them to sink their teeth into my neck, how would they react?” Nearly dropping his phone, he stared at Sunoo preposterously, choosing to think that he had made up what he had just heard.

“Are you fucking with me?”

Around them, the set was still as enthusiastic as ever, with Jake now messing around with Chulsoo, the actor playing the monster in their storyline. From the other side of the room, Jungwon notices the way that Sunghoon's gaze never leaves Sunoo, as if he were trying to make a mark on him. He looks back at Sunoo and sees him trying to avoid Sunghoon’s eyes. Oh, Jungwon thinks, he’s being for real.

“You’re not fucking with me, are you?”

“Nope,” Sunoo said, popping his ‘P’. “Do you have a vampire kink?” Jungwon blurts out, loud enough for them to hear, but not for anyone else within a five-metre radius. “ No, what the hell! I just—he’s a real vampire, okay?”

“Ah, so this is what Jake was telling me about. Are you only saying that so you’d have a reason to ask Sunghoon-hyung to bite you?” He giggled at Sunoo’s face, who looked a lot like a deer caught by the headlights of a car. Sunoo slaps him on the knee, “I didn’t mention any names!”

He’s right, he didn’t, but anyone within their group knew that the two of them always came hand in hand. On the days that Sunghoon’s having a meltdown over how it’s impossible for someone to be that cute, he’s always pertaining to Sunoo. It goes both ways—when Sunghoon does something Sunoo deemed incredibly hot, Jungwon knew that his door would be slammed open with a beet-red Kim Sunoo.

Honestly, he wondered why they wouldn’t just make things official when everyone knew they were exclusively for each other.

“You said a real vampire. The only one that could physically match the description is Sunghoon-hyung.”

Sunoo clapped his hands together, “I knew you’d be the one to get me , Jungwon-ah!” He brings his hands out, waiting for Jungwon to high-five him. Jungwon snickers, hands coming up to reciprocate the sentiment. “Unfortunately, my job is to get you. Who’s gonna keep you guys in line if I don’t?”

The older of the two shrugs, not willing to argue when Jungwon is right. In the instances that any of them have had to argue with Jungwon on something, he’s always reigned as the victor. There was no point refuting their leader’s statements.

“I mean,” Jungwon says, “I’m sure if you asked him, he’d do it. Probably would be a little bit freaked out, but he’ll do it. It’s you, after all.”

Sunoo feels his heart stop momentarily. He’s aware that he’s got special privileges when it comes to Sunghoon, but things always felt more real when someone else pointed it out. He groans, slumping further into the chair he is sitting on.

“Maybe I do have a vampire kink. This is your fault, Jungwon-ah.”

Jungwon sputters, “How is it my fault that you’re a freaky little shit?” Placing his hands on the former’s shoulder, he stares dead into Jungwon’s eyes. “You made us watch every vampire-related series and movie for weeks. Weeks! And then you wonder why I’m suddenly finding men with fangs hot?”

“Touché.”

Wedging himself between Jay and Sunghoon, Sunoo pulled his chair closer to the latter, until there was barely any space between them (well, between their chairs, at least).

“Sunoo-yah, do you want to eat together?”

Keeping his eyes on Heeseung and Niki as they filmed their scene, Sunoo nodded in acknowledgment, ignoring the piercing gaze boring into the side of his head.

“Maybe. Once I see the menu, I’ll decide,” he replied nonchalantly, lips forming into a small pout. Sunghoon tries to persuade him harder, his voice turning warmer by the second. “What about beef samgyeopsal?”

A small smile tugs on the corners of Sunoo’s lips, but he still doesn’t look at Sunghoon. He’s scared that if he does, he might just spill out everything he’s been thinking and feeling because of him. Sunghoon’s trying to get his attention even more now, and if his makeup artist wasn’t fixing his makeup at that moment, he would’ve turned his entire body just to face Sunoo.

“I’ll go if it’s beef samgyeopsal.”

 “Alright, let’s go!”

From the corner, Jungwon side-eyes him, his cheeks puffing out as he watches the two. “My dear dongsaengs, what do you want for dinner?” He looks between Jungwon and Sunoo, almost as if he were asking for help from the former. Jay speaks up instead, soft against the noise of the staff’s chattering. “Frozen samgyeopsal sounds good.” Technically, he finishes a lot earlier than both Sunoo and Sunghoon, so he wasn’t even going to be able to join them for dinner. But it didn’t hurt to give his input, plus, Jake and he could order it for themselves after their shoot.

“I haven’t had that in a while either.”

Sighing, Jungwon weighs in his options, “So let’s have it then.” The older nods, but Jungwon knew damn well that it was just going to be Sunghoon and Sunoo going having dinner together. He was not about to get himself stuck between those two, and frankly, he had a feeling that Sunghoon would want to have Sunoo’s sole attention on himself for the rest of the night.

The three of them chatter a bit more, about what else they’ll have for dinner or if they have any other plans after the shoot (“ Hell no. I’m gonna go home and sleep. I don’t even remember the last time I’ve slept properly,” Jay mused. “Stop lying. You were dead to the world at 10 pm last night,” Sunghoon countered).

Throughout the mini-break they had between scenes, both Jay and Jungwon couldn’t help but notice the way both of their chairs got even closer together, if that was even possible . It was like there was a magnet pulling the two of them closer—a pull so strong that there was a considerable amount of space between Sunoo and Jay, and Sunghoon and Jungwon. Yet the whole time, Sunoo was being a petulant brat and wouldn’t look Sunghoon in the eye.

Jungwon kicks Sunghoon’s shin discreetly, whilst Jay and Sunoo were engrossed in a conversation about the former’s newest perfume. He leaned over the space that’s garnered between them, shifting slightly so he wouldn’t have to lean so far. “Why’s he ignoring you now?” Sunghoon shook his head, eyes trailing longingly after Sunoo. “Beats me. Last time we spoke, he wanted me to prove that I wasn’t a vampire.”

“And what did he say?”

“That I haven’t bitten him yet.”

Sunoo laughed at Jay’s joke with a demureness of someone trying to intentionally ignore the man he was plausibly in love with, ignorant of the dejectedness brewing within Sunghoon and the mini chortles slipping out of Jungwon’s mouth. “He was never subtle with it, was he?”

“Not at all,” Sunghoon said, smiling coyly as he glanced back at Sunoo again.

“For someone so careful about saying the wrong things at the wrong times, you’d think he’d have a bit more decorum with stuff like that.” Adjusting the sleeves of his jacket, Jungwon huffed at his best friend’s antics, resigning himself to a lifetime more of Sunoo’s tomfoolery (of course, when it comes down to it, Sunoo was indeed one of the more calm and collected members, and is definitely not on the scale of idiocricy that Niki can sometimes get up too. There are just times when Sunoo gets too overwhelmed with things, he can act out a bit more).

Tonight was one of those days.

Sunghoon’s still watching him with a gaze warm enough to bring even the non-believers to their knees, doing nothing but simply adoring the boy next to him. Sunoo twists himself slightly with his arm outstretched to probably grab his new water bottle, but there’s already someone placing it into his hand with the cap unscrewed.

“Thanks, Mr. Vampire,” Sunoo whispers, still avoiding Sunghoon’s face. The older could only smile, a fleeting, secret little thing that Jungwon’s sure was only meant for Sunoo to see. He wishes they could just get on with it and make it official, so they could go make out somewhere more private and stop bothering them all.

“He believes you’re a vampire and wants you to bite him. You look at him like he hung the moon and the stars. You guys are weird .”

Sunghoon giggles, still not letting Sunoo out of his line of sight.

“I’ll be whatever he wants me to.”

“You are deranged .”

As much as he’d want to refute Jungwon’s statement, perhaps he’s not entirely wrong either. At least, he is a little bit more insane when it comes to Sunoo. He always has been.

There’s knocking on Sunoo’s door later that night, and he drags himself out of bed to answer it. He’s had a long day —it was difficult to keep himself in check when he wanted to drag Sunghoon into a nearby empty supply closet and have him run his teeth along Sunoo’s neck. Damn, those vampire shows were really getting to him now. He has to put himself off watching anything related to vampires and the like, lest he says or does another embarrassing thing in front of Sunghoon.

(Not his fault Sunghoon was tall, pale, and had fangs. It should be illegal for anyone to look like they came straight out of The Vampire Diaries, or whatever.)

“Coming,” he mumbles, shuffling his way to the door. Opening it, he was met with a sheepish Sunghoon holding a bag of delivery food, his face twinkling with a mirthfulness that made Sunoo’s heart do a three-sixty. He lets himself in, placing the bag of food on the floor and sitting down in front of it.

“Hyung, we shouldn’t be eating on the floor. My room will smell like food.”

Sunghoon hums, but he dismisses Sunoo’s words. “I only ordered enough for the two of us. If we ate outside, the members would start coming out of their rooms like rats.” Sunoo furrows his brows, his foxy eyes narrowing. “Didn’t Jungwon say he’ll eat with us?”

The bag rustles as Sunghoon opens it and takes the containers of food out, placing chopsticks in front of Sunoo. He pauses briefly, peering at Sunoo over his lashes before continuing what he was doing. “Jungwon went straight to his room and said he didn’t feel like eating much tonight. He had some snacks with Heeseung-hyung in the car.”

The smell of grilled beef flutters through the room as they begin to open the containers, with Sunghoon’s stomach growling in the process. Because he’s a menace to his Sunghoon-hyung, Sunoo teases, “I didn’t know vampires could love meat so much.” A cheesy grin morphs into the older’s face, his shoulders nudging Sunoo’s playfully. “Didn’t you say I could be a vampire with a different diet?”

Sunoo laughs with a mouthful of food, bright and airy, and for a moment, they forget that there was an entire world outside aside from the bubble they’ve formed with themselves.

“Did you see the way Jake was messing around with the monster the whole shoot?” Sunoo’s eyes widen as he nods intently. “Yes! He was practically acting like a child the whole time!” Another chorus of laughter could be heard as they shoved more food into their mouth. It’s been a while since they’ve had the time to unwind and relax—some days, the persona they have to embody in front of the camera, and the person they are behind it, blend into one, distorted line.

Being an idol meant that they had to be careful with the things they said, and whatever jabs were thrown at you were ones you had to let in through one ear and out the other.

So, when the opportunity arises wherein they could just be Sunoo and Sunghoon without the picture-perfect pretence, it was an occasion they had to savour.

The takeaway containers were now neatly packed away back into the bag they were originally in, with half-empty bottles of water replacing where the food had once been. Sunoo moved to lean against his bed, his head falling backwards till he was facing the ceiling. He feels Sunghoon shift around, too, until the latter is pressed up against his side.

“Do I still seem like a vampire to you?”

He whirls around, not expecting the face that was mere inches from him. Up close, he could see the myriad of moles that littered Sunghoon’s face, and he wondered for a moment why he thought the older only had three moles back in the day. Sunghoon could’ve easily said he was wrong, but he didn’t, defending Sunoo’s assumption with laudatory words that had their members internally recoiling from his biasedness. With his hair falling into his face and glasses propped up on his steep nose, Sunghoon was like a psychedelic dream come true, and Sunoo had to blink a couple of times just to make sure he wasn’t hallucinating.

Equally as enamoured, he replies, “Yeah. Don’t you see it?”

If Sunoo was a brat around his hyung, Sunghoon could easily match him with his smugness, tossing aside his awkwardness and turning into a version of himself that only came out around Sunoo. “I’m kinda inclined to see it now, considering you’re so insistent that I’m one.”

“Or perhaps,” his eyes flicker to the side of Sunoo’s neck, just below his ear, where his pulse could still be felt. “Perhaps there’s something else you want from me.”

Sunoo, with his lack of brain-to-mouth filter during the late hours of the night, breathes out shakily, “There is. I’m in love with you.”

He was not supposed to say that. What Sunoo was meant to say was that if Sunghoon wasn’t a real vampire, then he could bite Sunoo and see if the younger turned into a vampire. Just to test his theory.

Which is probably a lot worse than admitting he’s in love with his band member. Honestly, late nights do not fare well for Sunoo’s coherency, and it’s like he lacks any form of dignity or respect for himself with the way he just says shit for the sake of it.

“I kinda knew that already, Sunoo-yah,” Sunghoon whispers, his honeyed tone sweet enough to have Sunoo almost clambering on the floor, only prevented from doing so by his bed that he’s still leaning against. “You know I’m in love with you, too.”

“I mean, yeah . I’m being stupid right now, but I’m not that stupid,” Sunoo pouts, arms crossing over his shoulders as Sunghoon reaches forward and traces patterns onto his thigh. There’s barely an inch of space amongst them, their shoulders and knees bumping against each other with every movement. When Sunghoon repositions himself to get more comfortable on the floor, he ended up moving even closer, to the point that he was basically hovering over Sunoo.

He beams at Sunoo, and his canines emerge as his flamingo pink lips part, rendering Sunoo into a shade of burgundy that was deep enough to have the members teasing him about it for years to come had they seen the way Sunoo folded.

“I think there’s something else you want,” Sunghoon says suggestively, his hands now splayed across Sunoo’s thigh, and it’s invigorating. He’s so damn annoying; Sunghoon was always aware of the fact he was able to make Sunoo all malleable with a single touch, but only when it’s just the two of them in the room. But because Sunoo hates losing, he slings his arms around Sunghoon’s neck and brings the other closer, until their noses touch. He bats his lashes as he peers sultrily at Sunghoon.

“I’ll tell you if you kiss me.”

And Sunghoon didn’t need to be told twice, hands gripping underneath Sunoo’s thigh as he pulled the younger boy closer. They kiss with the fervour of a person who’s been starved for days, lips parting to let the other’s tongue through.

Sunoo runs his tongue across Sunghoon’s teeth—like he’s been wanting to do so the whole day. He feels the sharpness of his fangs, then sucks on his bottom lip like it was a piece of candy. Sunghoon, on the other hand, was no better than a Victorian man. His hands trail upwards from Sunoo’s legs and underneath his sleep shirt, his hands cold against Sunoo’s skin. The other boy hisses, pulling away slightly, before he crashes their lips together again.

This time, they kissed more languidly, air leaving their lungs like water running, but they paid it no mind. There were more important things at that moment than breathing.

When they finally pull away, Sunoo pushes Sunghoon’s head down, till the latter is nuzzled comfortably into the younger’s neck. Heedy with desire, he doesn’t hesitate to begin pressing kisses onto Sunoo’s neck, softly at first, and then sucking on it. Moaning, Sunoo slaps him on his arm. “Get on with it.”

Chuckling, Sunghoon lifts his head slightly, enjoying the way Sunoo was squirming underneath him. “You have to tell me what you want, baby.”

“Oh, you know damn well what I want. I don’t wanna say it, it’s embarrassing.”

Sunghoon manoeuvres himself back to Sunoo’s neck. “You weren’t embarrassed when you told Jungwon that earlier.”

“I’m gonna kill him—” Before he could finish his words, Sunoo felt teeth brush against his sensitive skin, and he gasped when Sunghoon finally, finally sank his teeth in. The older boy continued kissing, sucking and nibbling on his neck, enough to leave marks dark enough that’ll have Sunoo wearing a scarf around his neck for a while. Luckily, he could easily get away with it due to the weather, and he doesn’t have anything scheduled for the rest of the week.

When Sunghoon was satisfied with the mess he’s made on Sunoo’s neck, he pulled back victoriously, smirking at the way Sunoo looked at him, starstruck. Once his haziness dissipated, Sunoo buried himself into Sunghoon’s chest, a little bit flustered at how he’d been acting like a horny teenager.

“Am I still a real vampire to you?”

Sunoo replies breathlessly, “Yup. Because you’ve left a bunch of marks on my neck that I have to figure out how I’m going to cover up in the morning.” A laugh bubbles out of Sunghoon, effervescent and light as he pulls Sunoo closer still. “You asked for it.”

“I never said I didn’t want it.”

They stay that way for a while, wrapped around each other on the floor as they trade lazy kisses. At some point, Sunoo tugged both of them up onto his bed, so they could be more comfortable as they cuddled.

“Hey, Mr. Vampire.”

“Yeah?” Sunghoon said, very much in love.

“Where else could you leave a mark?”

Oh. Sunoo was going to be the death of him.
