One day, Airi was hanging out with her friends (MMJ) and suddenly she spots a familiar face in the corner of the cafe that they were in. Airi rolled her eyes and immediately hid her face.
"Airi, what's wrong?" Shizuku asked, tilting her head in confusion. Airi sighs, she's clearly annoyed and frustrated "That's the weird ass fan who's obsessed with me! You know, the guy who's always in the front row yelling 'AIRI!! I LOVE YOU!!!'" Minori's eyes widen in the sudden realization."Hey Airi, I think that's Ena's brother, Akito Shinonome! I never realized he was such a big fan of More More Jump" Airi stands up, her jaw dropped in shock "ENA'S BROTHER?!" she snapped, before quickly composing herself and sitting back down.
Airi covered her face in disbelief and groans. "How could someone as annoying and weird as him be my best friend's BROTHER?!" Haruka pats Airi's back in a form of sympathy "No need to shout, Airi. It's not that bad" Haruka tried comforting her even though she knows that it's a waste. "Thanks Haruka, but I'm going to Ena's place tomorrow and i can't afford to bump into that guy!" Airi sighed. "Or maybe i could fake an illness or—something! I just really don't want to see him!" Suddenly, Shizuku stood up and places a hand on her chest, her eyes sparkling with determination. "You can't just cancel your plans over some obsessive fan, imagine how hurt Ena will feel!" Airi's eyes widen in embarrassment and shock at Shizuku's sudden stunt "Shizuku, sit down! I'm grateful that you're looking out for me but suddenly shouting like this is embarrassing! And i guess you're right, i should still go and see Ena..." Airi had no other choice, she doesn't wanr to hurt her best friend's feelings even if it meant bumping into that strange fan. Minori held Airi's hands and smiled "I believe in you Airi!" Shizuku and Haruka both nodded in agreement. Airi smiled "Thank you guys" And now, with the new profound reassurement and support from her friends, Airi was determined to face whatever challenges that lie ahead
A few hours has passed an it is now exactly 1AM. Airi lays on her bed staring at the ceiling, unable to sleep. She's worried about what might happen tomorrow, her mind filled with endless scenarios. She decides to text Ena since she knew that Ena was always up around this time of the day. "Hey Ena, i heard that Akito was your brother. Is that true?" Airi hesitates for a moment before hitting send. She turns of her phone and waits for her best friend's response
After around 10 minutes, Ena finally responded. "Hi Airii! Sorry for the late response i was working on an art project, and yep Akito is my little brother (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧" After seeing the message Ena sent, Airi covered her face with a pillow and screamed as loud as she could. She had wished that maybe just maybe, Ena would say no and that she had no correlation with Akito. Airi sighs and with a heavy heart accepted her fate. She tried to get some sleep even though it seems like her brain just wouldn't turn off.
Airi woke up tired and restless, she tosses herself out of bed and quickly went to the bathroom. She brushed her hair and changed out from her pajamas to a cream colored skirt and a light blue sweater. She went to the kitchen and makes a simple breakfast for herself before quickly heading out. At the way to Ena's house Airi's mind still could not stop with possible scenarios that could happen if she met Akito, and all of those scenarios were bad. "Calm down Airi! It's just an obsessed fan..." She thought to herself.
When she finally arrived to the Shinonome's house Airi hesitates before knocking. "Please don't be Akito, please don't be Akito—" Airi's eyes widen in shock, of course it had to be Akito who answered the door. Before Airi could say anything the door was immediately slammed shut.
Airi sighed before she knocked ok the door again. But this time there was no answer whatsoever. A few minutes pass by and Airi is getting frustrated. She wanted to text Ena but suddenly she heard arguing from the other side of the door. Airi told herself that it's probably none of her business, but her curiosity got the best of her. She presses her ear against the door to try and make out what was happening. She heard Ena's voice, it seems like Ena was arguing with Akito. "What the hell Ena?!" Akito shouted. "What do you mean 'what the hell'?! You invite your friends over all the time and i never have a problem with that!" Ena argued back. "You didn't tell me that she was coming..."
Airi immediately stepped back when she heard footsteps coming towards the door, it was Ena. "Hey Airi! Glad you came!" Ena greeted her, smiling as if nothing had happened. Airi just smiled back and followed Ena into her home, he glanced at Akito who was sitting on the living room sofa. Akito was staring at her and he didn't even try to hide it. Airi shook her head and followed Ena to her bedroom. "Sorry if it's a mess, i haven't had the time to clean up" There were art supplies scattered all over Ena's room. "Oh it's alright!" Airi reassured.
There was a figure on Ena's desk, it was a long yellow haired character with twin drills who's holding a gun. Airi picked up the figure carefully and asked, "Hey Ena, who's this? I've never seen this character before" Ena's eyes immediately beemed with excitement. "That's Mami Tomoe from Madoka Magica! It's like my favorite show ever," Ena points to a poster on top of her bed "Look i even have a poster of the show!"
Airi looked at the painting Ena was working on. "Woah Ena is that your art project? looks really nice you know?" Ena chuckled "Thanks Airi! By the way while we talk and do other things i was thinking that i can continued my art project since the deadline is tomorrow..." Ena rubbed the back of her neck. "Yeah, no problem! Deadlines are such a hassle you know?" Ena nodded in agreement with Airi.
Ena sat on her desk and reached for a paint brush, she stopped for a moment before turning her head towards Airi. "Airi, could you do me a favor? I think Akito borrowed my paint and Haven returned it yet, could you go to his room real quick and get the paint for me?" Airi froze, Akito was obviously the last person she wanted to see. She gulps and chuckled "Oh uhm—yes definitely! I can uhm get the paint for you..." Ena thanked her before Airi left the room. Akito's bedroom was right infront of Ena's and now all she had to do was knock on the door, get the paint and run. But it won't be as simple as she thought it'd be.
Airi took a deep breath before taking a step. She hesitates for a moment before knocking on Akito's door. The door opened ever so slightly and Airi could only see Akito from the small opening. "Is there... Anything you need?" Akito asked nervously. "Ugh can't you open the door a little more?" Akito felt a little offended and opened the door completely. She rolled her eyes. "Anyways, Ena told me that you borrowed her paint and haven't gave it back. She wanted me to retrieve it for her" Akito nods and went to search for Ena's paint.
Airi waited infront of the door, she pushed it open slightly and... "What the fuck?!" She whispered to herself. Akito's room was FILLED with Airi's merch. His walls were covered in pictures of her. Akito realized that Airi noticed his obsession and he immediately ran to close and lock the door. Airi stands in disbelief, she knew that she was popular and that Akito liked her but... This seems a little weird doesn't it? Akito seems to have bought every singular merchandise of Airi.
Ena, who was waiting in her room for 30 minutes got worried and decided to check up on Airi. "Airi... What's wrong?" Ena asked worrily. Airi have been standing infront of Akito's room, eyes wide open for 10 minutes maybe even more. After Ena tried asked Airi what was happening again and there was no answer she started getting REALLY worried. Ena decides to barge into Akito's room and get the paint herself. She kicked open the door and... "....Akito...?" Akito has never let Ena enter his room before so she was surprised to see that it was COVERED in Airi merch.
