Threads of the Fates

Summary:

What does it mean to be human? To truly love?

Jeonghan is given a rare chance—reincarnated as a human, with one condition: he must discover the true meaning of life and love. But as someone who’s never felt human emotion, even the simplest gesture of affection is foreign to him.

Seungcheol, on the other hand, has spent his life giving love freely—to everyone but himself. He knows how to care, how to give, how to hurt… but not how to be cared for.

When fate intertwines their paths, their worlds begin to shift. Jeonghan must learn what it means to feel. Seungcheol must learn what it means to receive. But nothing comes without sacrifice.

What will it cost for Jeonghan to truly become human? And when the time comes, will they be willing to lose each other to find themselves?

Chapter Text

I don’t understand why Seungcheol’s sobbing. Releasing a cry like he’s been in an excruciating pain. I want to ask why, what had happened. Why is he crying like this? Who made him cry like this? I wanna reach out and wipe his tears. He doesn’t deserve to be like this. I’ve given him everything and anything in this world because that’s what he’s deserved. Not like this, not like that.

I try to keep my eyes open. I try to move my hands to reach him, but my body’s not responding. I can’t move even an inch.

I feel extremely sleepy, like I’m drifting off into a peaceful slumber. And as much as I want to comfort Seungcheol and his despair, I can’t do anything but to close my eyes and drift into nothingness.

Notes:

I'm still not sure if I'll go with Jeonghan and Seungcheol as my mine characters.
i keep on using Wonwoo and Mingyu's names while writing the story!!! T_T
