Chapter 1: Its just a game!

Chapter Text

“DAMNIT!” Robot Flower threw her controller on the ground, shaking in anger.
She glared at the game over screen that filled the wide screen TV in front of her.
It wasn’t TV, though. He was behind the couch playing UNO with Remote, who took a little peek at her misfortune.
“YOU.” she pointed at the red mechanical rectangle on the coach right beside her. “I AM GOING TO DISASSEMBLE YOU AND BURN YOUR REMAINS.”
Robot Flower didn’t usually act like this. S1 Flower RF did though, but ever since she got fixed this side of her never showed again.
That is, unless she lost 27 times in a row against “The World’s Best Street Fighter Player,” Roboty.
“Cry About It.” Roboty replied, his antenna turning side to side as a way of mocking her. He was speaking his usual morse code, but being Mechanical Minds and all, the others were able to translate it seamlessly.
“Roboty, Please Do Not Mock Robot Flower.” Remote said monotonously as she placed down a +4.
TV slammed his cards down in frustration. “Aw. Dang It.”
“See? TV Isn’t Overreacting.”
“I Am Overreacting.”
“Stop Overreacting.”
“THIS ISN’T UNO GUYS. THIS IS STREET FIGHTER!” Robot Flower screamed. “IM SUPPOSED TO BE THE MOST AGILE! WHY AM I GETTING BEATEN BY THIS RED PILE OF SCRAP!”
Roboty leaned back leisurely. “Keep On Coping. It Brings Me Joy.”
Robot Flower turned to him, a murderous glint on her screen interface. “WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU-”

OOOOWA!

OOOOWA!

OOOOWA!

Stockholder alarm sound effect.mp3 rang throughout the hallway, disrupting the group’s chaos. Their wrist watches flickered on, displaying the Announcer and Basketball in a holographic image above.
“Basketball?” Robot Flower said, surprised.
“Hey Robot Flower!” Basketball replied. “Sorry for the sudden intrusion, but there’s something happening back at the A-Twos-Ment park-”
“Big Scary Monster.” Announcer announced announcingly. Basketball glared at him. “Just Trying To Be Specific.”
“That Sounds Like A Job For The Mechanical Minds.” Remote yelled. “We’ll Be Right There.”
She and TV scampered off, leaving Robot Flower and Roboty in the room.
She pointed at her eyes and back at Roboty. “This ain’t done.”
Roboty followed suit. “Trust Me. It Already Is.”

The Mechanical Minds slid down a pole and into their secret base of operations, nicknamed PBE (Power, Base, Exponent), where they transformed into their super mechanical forms in a flash of dazzling light.

Remote twirled around and manifested two golden bracelets with the Mechanical Mind symbol on them. They crackled with electricity and sparked when she slammed them together for show.

TV took a red handkerchief and tied it around his head, ninja style. He did a bunch of epic kicks and moves before descending down into the PBE.

Robot Flower disappeared and reappeared in a dash of light, sporting an orange collar (courtesy of Basketball) and glowing petals that hummed with energy.

Finally, Roboty came into sight.
With the flash of his eyes and mouth, his back opened up and out sprouted multiple robotic armaments, equipped with rocket launchers, miniguns, lasers, and the like. He gave a little wink (turning his left eye on and off) before retreating his arms and joining the rest of his crew under.

They posed together for an epic group picture. Together they were…

THE MECHANICAL MINDS!!

“You Have To Stop Doing That Everytime You Enter The PBE.” Announcer groaned.
Robot Flower gave him a little interface glance. “It’s been here the first time it’ll be here the last time.”
