How was the movie?

Summary:

At the exclusive preview of the 'F1' film for the drivers, Kimi and Ollie are sitting next to each other, but the film is extraordinarily long. Too long for Kimi.

Notes:

My first bearnelli, I think not the last but who knows. It's Kimi's fault for the commentary on the movie 'F1' that he saw next to Ollie, his in fact the POV of this short. When asked 'how was the movie?' he answered 'pretty cool' and 'long'. And the scene I wrote about started playing in my head. Thanks to everyone and see you next time. Kisses Akane

Work Text:

HOW WAS THE MOVIE?

bearnelli

Watching a movie with Kimi is like trying to hear audio at a stadium.
Absolutely impossible.
He talks, he always talks. Continuously. About the movie, obviously, because he has opinions on everything he sees, so he shares them with me.
I would like to watch the movie in peace, but it's not possible because he doesn't close his mouth for a second until a certain point that a suspicious silence falls here on my left.
For an entire sequence he doesn't open his mouth about halfway through the movie and I'm about to turn around to see what's happening, when his head slowly but inexorably slides onto my shoulder until it rests completely on me.
I stop holding my breath and try to look at him, but obviously from here it’s impossible if I don't move him and I think that would be a shame.
For a moment I completely ignore the film to concentrate on Kimi, from here I see very little of him except his beautiful curly bush of hair.
At a certain point, however, I hear him breathing regularly and deeply and I understand that he’s sleeping, so I take the phone and activate the internal camera trying to see in the darkness of the room. I take advantage of a bright moment in a scene of the film and finally I see him well through my display and with an amused smile I take the selfie.
The hyperactive squirrel has really collapsed!
Once I have taken the photo and confirmed that Kimi is really sleeping, I go back to the film without moving a muscle, I don't want to wake him up. Partly because this way I can at least see the ending, partly because I like to feel him sleeping on me.
At the thought a goofy smile paints itself on my face and stays there for the rest of the viewing, but that's okay because no one sees me and there's nothing wrong with being happy to have him on me. Just as there isn't if I let my head rest on his to be more comfortable too.
I watch the whole movie and I don't even fall asleep, but if they were to ask me how it was I couldn't say, because strangely it's as if I hadn't registered anything except Kimi and his head on my shoulder.
How was the movie? I'd say 'exciting' but I'm afraid that wouldn't be an assessment of the movie.
So how was it? Well, long, I'd say. Exceptionally long.
