The voice came from the darkest corner of the room. Dazai immediately recognized it as the demon from before.
“If you think that, you must be dumber than I thought.” He stood and frantically gestured to his body. “The ritual promised death and I’m clearly not dead!”
The freckled man looked at the other incredulously before he glared and kissed his teeth.
“Don’t get all pissy with me ‘cause you didn’t read the fine print.” He sighed in exasperation. “I killed you, no doubt about it.”
“Fine print…” The bandaged man picked the book off the ground and flipped through the print, gutted. “...No.”
“Yep.” The ginger responded with no remorse for his situation. “You’re Undead.”
Dazai stilled as he processed the statement.
Maybe he should’ve read the page after all.
