The wind was rather harsh today. Maybe that was the sign of it going to rain heavily — but of course, Blaze never cared.
Unlike everyone else who had brought an umbrella or already had one just incase, he stood there alone. Without an umbrella. Just him and the rain.
So there lies the question, who would he ask to share an umbrella with? Or borrow a jacket?
Duri had gone home with Taufan earlier than expected to work on a project together, so they were crossed out from the list.
"Blaze! Me and Tau-tau will be working on a project!So, we'll go without you! Don't be a troublemaker, 'kay?" The biology geek exclaimed to him, already latching onto Taufan's side.
"Geez! Have you no faith in me? Besides — that's OUR thing!" The bandaged-covered boy responded back, louder than needed.
"Alright, alright. No need to be so mad Aze~ we'll get going now, bye!" Taufan teased, dragging Duri along with him as he practically ran out of the classroom.
"Bye!" Returned the orange-eyed boy.
Solar was at New Zealand for his badminton competition, his name was crossed out on the imaginary list too.
For some reason, he can already hear the grey-eyed boy's scoff saying that he wouldn't dare to share an umbrella with him.
Gempa was also crossed out of the list due to him being at Melaka for a Choral Speaking competition — so was Ais since he caught a high fever.
Blaze almost wished he had stayed home to take care of his younger brother, who didn't want to let go of him.
So that leaves...
"Blaze, you're still here?" A rather low voice came from his left.
He tilted his head as he turned to look at who the mystery person was —
Low and behold. It was Halilintar.
Both stared at eachother for what felt like an eternity until the red-eyed boy spoke up.
"Are you going to act like I'm a ghost or..?" He curtly coughed out as he turned his gaze away from Blaze.
The orange-eyed boy was a bit caught off guard, looking away from the latter aswell.
"Ahh... It's just that.." His voice was barely audible due to the heavy rain, he turned his head to see the other looking directly at him with a dead-panned expression.
"You forgot your umbrella. Right?" Halilintar spoke up, letting out a sigh.
Blaze slowly looked away once more.
"M-maybe.."
The karate-kid just sighed as he pulled out an umbrella from his bag and unfurling it and raising it above his right shoulder.
"We... can share, I don't mind." He managed, a tiny hint of blush on his face due to slight embrassment of sharing an umbrella with someone.
The cat-like boy turned his head so fast, he probably would've broken it if not for his flexibility.
"Really?!?" He beamed, eyes full of sparkles.
"Just hurry up before I change my mind.." He muttered loud enough for the latter to hear.
"H-huh?! Don't leave me!" He replied, scurrying over to Halilintar.
The two walked together in silence, after what felt like hours, they finally reached Blaze's house.
"Thanks.." Blaze let out before opening his front door almost in a hurry to get inside.
"Just don't forget to bring an umbrella next time." He responded, before turning around and walking away.
Blaze looked at the retreating figure and went inside.
His younger brother looked at him with a pout and an obvious angry expression on his face.
