Eyes fluttered closed, and cheek nuzzled against chest. The bard clung to the man much larger than himself; warmth radiated from Diluc directly into Venti's core—his heart.
"You're going to get hot at night again."
"That's alright."
Venti's emerald eyes searched Diluc's soft-hearted rubied ones; his grinning face reflected back. A bit ago, both of them had been aimless, wandering, and lost—but now it was clear that they could find each other in each other's gaze. They needed only to look.
"I won't throw the covers off this time, promise!"
Diluc rolled his eyes and pulled Venti closer.
