Ida B. Wells Barnett realizes the truth
That the world is blind and tell all lies
For they could never find
The justice that has not been given
to the African Americans where it is driven
From the lands of white men who thirst for lynching
Which is a practice of a widespread extrajudicial killing
Against the innocent populations of African-Americans
Can you believe this monstrous illegal brutality
Where there is no right for humanity
The world is blind and they will only corrupt minds
Does it leave a bitter taste in your mind
that you feel like flinching
Why do white people normalize murder and segregation
When they only like to be active in racial discrimination
For their power and wealth they will only be willingly blind
What is it like to fight for your life
When your forced to face this endless strife
Ida B. Wells recognize the injustice and mistreatment of African Americans which she dedicated her life
To writing about the horrors of their misuse of having no rights
and opening the eyes of the world
Of the injustice that has been thrown in at their faces although they have reached certain heights
In achieving their very liberty
Of their very own security
The world is being overshadowed by the crows
This allowed a widespread of outrage and protests
About the mistakes and negligence
From these annoying and controlling pests
When it has been taken granted with no consideration
That leaves a deep resentment
And deep seeded frustration
in their bones against their community and individuality
Of the lack of white public communication
Due to the lack of actuality
Of having no equal rights and no freedom given
Now the colored people (NAACP) have striven
With the help of their co-founder Ida B. Wells Barnett
Who strived to light the truth
In writing the book THE RED RECORD
About the lynching of colored men and women
Who had lived in constant pressure
Because the white men feared “Negro Domination”
Which led to unhealthy motivation
To kill all colored people who wanted equal protection
BUT Ida B. Wells Barnett shed light to the world
About the injustice and murder that has been pursued
With fever determination against this race
Because she witnessed her friend and their friends
Be unjustly killed with no idea of when to fend
Off this sickening feeling of having no more companions
Ida B. Wells Barnett is fearless with wit as her offense
Because she knows that no one can stop her truth
When her word is a defense
Against lies, rumors and propaganda
When she spills the tales of what actually has happened
And fights for justice for colored people’s rights
She doesn’t hold back her words nor does she mense
Them, Her words are fighting injustice
Because she knows the world is blind
And needs to be awake when the time is right
Even if they have to build a cake with many layers
Because who will fight for their sake
Life has meaning to continue living
To live peacefully in freedom and prosperity
Where colored people want to achieve
With the aid of Ida B. Wells Barnett who can likely agree
Who pushed and shoved the truth out into the world
Where their eyes are open to the sudden truth that unfurled
There is so much poverty
At the sake of white men’s property
Life continues where justice and evil prevails
But with a little nudge it could become more like a trail
Something worth living for
In the name of having a better world
Where everyone, colored men and women could live in peace together
When Ida B. Wells Barnett advocated for women's suffrage
To conduct plans in protest for the sake of millions
Of people’s rights
Where people could learn to make bridges
Towards each other and begin anew and equally
The rich could learn to share and help the people of the USA
Because the people in Texas live under the notion ‘In GOD we TRUST’
We believe in freedom and democracy
Where everyone has freedom and rights
The past of history events are shown in the museum
Where we learn and grow from
Because these lands are meant to be protected and be symbolic
Towards UNITY of all people just like The eagle
