Music rings like a golden bell,
Soft,
Elegant.
Enticing the waft of cloth.
Each sound a push and pull,
Calming,
Yet exhilarating.
Hand in hand they dance,
Both lost in the moment.
1..
2..
3..
Step by step,
Each one brings them closer.
They'd mutter in soft tones,
“It's just a mission.”
“Is it?”
The touch of lips gives pause
A silent message.
I don't want it to be.
They part leaning against one another as they sway.
“Curly.. stay.”
Short,
To the point.
The way it's always been.
Eyes lock in a mix,
Blue and grey.
“Please, curly.. I love you.”
Blue eyes widen,
Surprise crumbling to glee.
Scarred hand caress tanned skin,
Fingers coming to tangle in vibrant hair.
Words a warm caress against chapped lips.
“I'll stay mossy.”
Lips meet in a dance,
One of love,
Emotion,
And gleeful success.
Mission accomplished..
