Kitty and Min Ho were now back at KISS. Three months touring together had been so much fun and they grew so much more closer because of it.
Once Kitty arrived back at KISS, she headed to her dorm room.
Kitty opened the front door of her dorm, her large yellow suitcase being pulled onto the floor.
Julianna had just came out of her room and spotted her. "Kitty your back." Said Julianna, happily.
"Julianna hey. How was your summer?" Kitty asked as she walked towards her and placed her suitcase down.
Julianna smiled softly. "It was great. Eventful to say the least. Me and Pravenna spent the whole summer together."
Kitty's eyes widened. She had completely forgotten that Julianna and Pravenna were now together. "That's right you two are together now. How's that been?"
"It's new and exciting." Julianna admitted.
"That's great Julianna." Said Kitty.
Kitty looked her up and down before she spoke again. "I want to say how sorry I am for what happened last semester. I shouldn't have done what I did and the kiss with Yuri was a big mistake. I just hope we can be friends."
Julianna placed a hand on her shoulder. "Kitty relax. It takes two and from what I gather you weren't the one who started it. You were vulnerable and going through a lot. I was mad at you when really I should've been more mad at Yuri who did the actual cheating. But it's all good. I want us to be friends."
"You do?" Kitty asked.
"Yes of course. Us girls have got to stick together." Julianna said.
"And the Ohio Weirdo is no longer here." Julianna added.
Kitty giggled. "Good riddance."
"But enough about me. How was your summer?" Julianna asked.
Summer was the best. The best summer she has ever had. Just the thought of it and thinking of all those memories that she made makes her heart pound. "It was the best summer of my life."
A smile formed on Kitty's face as she was thinking about this past summer, touring with Min Ho and his family. "And tour was incredible."
"That's right you went on tour with Min Ho and his family. How was that?" Julianna asked.
"It was actually really good. It was so much fun and I had such a great time there." Kitty told her as she sighed.
Julianna smirked at her for a second. She thought something was different about Kitty but she didn't know exactly what it was. "So you and Min Ho?"
Kitty was taken a back. "What?"
"You joining him on tour seems like a pretty big step to me. And you are sure there's nothing between you guys?" Julianna asked, curiously.
Kitty shook her head. "He's swearing off relationships and I'm pretty sure he doesn't like me like that anymore."
"But you like him don't you?" Julianna commented as she smiled at Kitty.
Julianna could be very persuasive when she wanted to be.
Kitty's eyes widened. "How did you know?"
"Your eyes lit up when you talked about him and you just seemed different. Happier. And you just exposed yourself right now." Julianna told her as she chuckled.
Julianna tilted her head to look at her closely. "Has anyone told you that you are not subtle?"
Kitty's cheeks flushed red as her heart started beating fast. "Only Q. Well only Q and my sisters know."
"I've had feelings for him since March but I just didn't want to say anything because of Stella and right now I'm happy to be his friend because I don't want to put pressure on him. I just don't want to mess things up as I really care about him. And maybe our time will come soon. Maybe." Kitty explained.
It felt like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. She had not planned to tell Julianna all about her feelings but she felt the need to open up to her. "It's just complicated. I'm scared."
Julianna's eyes softened. "Aww Kitty you are really in love aren't you?"
Kitty sighed as she walked to the sofa and took a seat, with Julianna following her from behind. "I've never felt this way before about anyone. Not with Dae and especially not with Yuri."
"It's hard putting yourself out there in fear of getting rejected but you will regret it if you don't. And it's Min Ho he obviously is down bad for you like have you seen this man look at anyone else the way he looks at you?" Julianna said, reassuring her.
"I don't know." Kitty said as she fiddled with her fingers.
Then Yuri came through the door. Kitty and Julianna spotted her from the sofa as she suddenly came walking towards them and grabbing a seat next to Kitty. "Hey guys so what are we talking about?"
"Nothing." Kitty blurted out, not wanting Yuri to know about what they were talking about.
Julianna stayed silent. She knows that Kitty doesn't want anyone else to know about it. At least not now.
Min Ho has to know first before Yuri, before the rest of their friends and especially before Dae finds out.
"Cool. How was your guys summer?" Yuri asked.
Julianna smirked. "It was great, thanks Yuri."
"And you?" Yuri asked as she turned her face around to look at Kitty.
Kitty half smiled. "Good."
"How was your summer?" Kitty asked.
"Different. Unusual." Yuri admitted.
Julianna looked her up and down. Rather confused by what Yuri said. "Unsual how?"
"There's a lawsuit happening with my dad and Dae's dad." Yuri blurted out.
Julianna and Kitty's eyes widened in shock. "WHAT?"
"Since when?" Kitty asked, rather confused when this all started.
"Last semester before we left for summer break. Didn't Dae mention it to you?" Yuri asked.
Kitty hesitated there for a second. "Now that you mention it I think he did. I must've forgot."
"I've just been so busy and distracted lately." Said Kitty.
Julianna giggled quietly. "Hmm I wonder why."
Kitty shot her a look. A look that said, 'don't call me out'.
Yuri raised an eyebrow. Confused she was as to what was going on. "What?"
"She's just kidding. Anyway how is Dae handling it, how are you handling it?" She asked.
Yuri sighed as she took a deep breath. "As well as we can. It's super weird and messy and we shouldn't be involved in this."
"I get why Dae's dad did it though. My dad was horrible and overworks his staff so it makes sense that they sued him. But I'm his daughter and I would love to hate him but I don't. He's still my dad who I still love. And now I'm broke." Yuri added as she collapsed onto the sofa and sighed.
This was a terrible situation to be in.
Julianna put a hand on her shoulder for support. "I'm sorry Yuri."
"Thanks Julianna." Yuri replied.
"It will all work out. Trust the universe." Kitty said as she looked at her.
Yuri chuckled. "Since when did you become so positive. You seem different and happier than before?"
Kitty giggled. "What can I say. Tour changed me."
"Is it just tour or a certain someone. Because Dae told me you went on tour with Min Ho. So what's up with that?" Yuri asked.
It didn't bother her but she wanted to know if there was something going on between Kitty and Min Ho.
"Oh I should get back to unpacking, excuse me." Kitty blurted as she made an excuse not to have this conversation with Yuri.
Kitty grabbed her suitcase and hurried off to her bedroom. Leaving Yuri at a lost for words and rather confused on what just happened.
"That was sus." Said Yuri.
Yuri shook that thought away and brushed it aside. "How are you and Pravenna? I hope it's not weird of me to ask that."
Julianna shook her head. "It's not. We are doing great. Thanks Yuri."
"Your welcome." Yuri smiled at her, not wanting to look away from her but knowing that she had to.
Silence came about as Yuri blinked her eyes and snapped back onto reality.
Back in the boys dorm room, the trio were busy chatting away with each other and talking about each other's summers that they had.
"So how was your summer with Kitty?" Dae asked.
Min Ho swallowed the lump in his throat as he sighed. "It wasn't just with Kitty. My dad and my brother were there too."
Dae stared him down. "You know what I mean."
"Ugh fine it was good. She annoyed the heck out of me but it was nice having a friend on tour with me." Min Ho replied as he smiled up at Dae.
"That's great Min Ho. I'm glad you guys are friends and that you were able to move past everything." Dae added as he got a glass of water before he closed the door and went to his room.
Q smirked as he shot Min Ho a look. "Friends? Oh be for real."
"What, that's what me and her are aren't we." Min Ho said.
"You don't see me asking to join you on tour now do you?" Q said as he raised his eyebrow.
"We are just friends." Min Ho told him.
That wasn't exactly true. Him and Kitty are friends but he would be lying if he hasn't even just for a moment, though that there could be something there. Especially this summer on tour with her, his feelings that he thought he had buried never really left.
In fact it has only just grown and there are moments when they are together where he thinks that for a second that she could like him in the way he likes her. But Min Ho brushed those thoughts to the side out of fear of getting hurt. Though everyday it's getting harder to ignore.
He knows something has changed with Kitty in regards to her potential feelings that she may have towards him. But he can't let his guard down and cling onto hope to just be rejected again.
He will love her in silence because being her friends is better than the what if scenarios that he makes up in his head of Kitty liking him. "There is absolutely nothing between me and Kitty. Nothing at all."
Q chuckled lighly. "Min Ho you are an idiot and the worst liar I have ever met."
"Has anyone told you that you are not subtle at all?" Q teased.
"I'm not lying." He voiced as his voice started to break.
Q elbowed him in the arm. "Whatever helps you sleep at night. But come on be honest, the real reason you don't want to admit it is because you don't want to hurt Dae is that it?"
"I told him last semester that there was nothing between me and Covey. What is he going to think, that I lied to him. And besides I didn't lie as I'm not dating Covey." Min Ho explained.
Q shot him a look as she smirked. "Eyes say otherwise. Do you honestly believe what you are saying?"
Q placed a hand on his best friends shoulder for support. "You owe it to her but more importantly to yourself to be honest with yourself. You don't want to live a life with regrets of what could've been just because of fear. Take the chance of fate."
"And do what?" He asked.
"What your heart wants. Let fate decide, because it knows better than you do." Q replied.
"We are just friends and totally nothing happened on tour. It was not even close to almost k - you know what nevermind." Min Ho added as he drank his cup of water.
Q giggled. "I didn't say anything about tour."
Min Ho avoided his gaze.
Q bit his lip as he looked at him. "So something or an almost something happened on tour right? what was it?"
"Nothing happened." Min Ho blurted out.
"Oh that means something definitely happened. Spill the tea!" Q teased.
Min Ho moaned. "Alright fine but this stays between us."
"My lips are sealed." Said Q.
Min Ho sighed. "Okay so what happened was -
But just as he was about to speak, Kitty came and walked through the door.
Both hearts were beating super fast as their eyes met. "Covey hey."
"Hey Min Ho." Kitty said as she smiled at him.
Q watched the interaction between the two of them play out. He could not believe how not subtle they both were. "Okay are you going to hug me or just keep staring at Min Ho?"
Kitty blinked her eyes as she snapped back into reality. "What no it's - hey Q"
Kitty ran towards him and gave him the biggest hug. "How was summer?"
"Great." Q replied.
"Min Ho here was just about to tell me all about your guys summer." Q teased.
Kitty glanced at Min Ho for a second as her eyes widened. "Did you now?"
"Well I was getting there." Min Ho scoffed.
Kitty was so happy to be back at KISS. She loved touring with Min Ho but she missed her friends.
Kitty giggled at his statement, classic Min Ho behaviour. "How's Joon Hoo and your dad?"
"They are good. Dad is back at KISS and he has literally done a one eighty. From being not involved to being way too involved. He won't stop talking about his new granddaughter and showing everyone pictures of her." Min Ho told her. He was glad he had rekindled his relationship with his father.
Kitty whilst on tour had seen the relationship between Min Ho and his dad develop into what she would call an actual father and son relationship. She was happy for him. "I call that development."
"How's rooming with Julianna?" Q asked as he turned his head to face her.
Kitty pouted her lips as she smiled. "Good actually. We apologied to each other for what happened last semester and now we are friends which I'm grateful for as last semester drama was bad enough."
"That's progress. See I knew you guys would be friends!" Q cheered her on as he smiled.
Min Ho smirked, looking amused. "I'm glad."
"Don't get too excited. I'm still rooming with both Yuri and Julianna. It's going to be so awkward as they are now exs." Kitty reminded them.
Q raised his eyebrow as his eyes shifted to hers. "Have you spoken to Yuri about what happened last semester?"
Kitty rolled her eyes as she sighed. "No. I don't even know where to start. Don't get me wrong I'm glad that we are friends again and she helped me reach out to Jiwon but I don't even know what to say to her."
"I guess we never had that closure." Kitty admitted.
A lot of things were happening so fast that she never got the chance to talk to Yuri about what did happen last semester.
Kitty knows that she needs to, eventually.
"You should." Q told her.
Kitty took a deep breath before she spoke. "And say what?"
"Everything that needs to be said." Said Q.
Kitty squinted her eyes. "Fine."
"I thought it would hurt being distant from me but I'm kinda okay with that." Kitty admitted.
Min Ho looked at her for a second. He was curious if Kitty still feels something for Yuri and on the chance that she does, he wants to accept it.
Accept that she may never like him in the way he wants. "What do you think of her now?" Asked Min Ho.
"I stopped having feelings for her in Feb. So whatever I did feel for her, that's long gone now." Kitty uttered, she wanted him to know that she no longer feels what she did feel for Yuri.
Kitty doesn't even know if he still feels something for her. She hopes he does.
Min Ho hesitated there for a second before he spoke. "Oh. Cool."
Min Ho wouldn't show it but part of him was glad that she had moved on from Yuri. Yuri had hurt Kitty and while Min Ho would never resent her for that. He does want Kitty to be happy, that's all he's ever wanted for her.
"No more love triangles with girls?" Q asked.
Kitty shook her head as she had a disturbing look in her eye. "God no."
Moments later, Dae came out from his room and spotted Kitty.
He ran up towards her and gave her a friendly hug. "Kitty."
"Dae, hey. How was your summer?" Asked Kitty as she finally let him loose from the hug.
"It was okay. Been a bit strange with the whole lawsuit and everything." Dae explained.
Kitty placed a hand on his shoulder for support. "I'm sorry. I'm here for you, you know."
Dae nodded his head. "Thanks Kitty."
"Also me and Eunice broke up. I really messed things up with her and I want to make things right." Dae told them.
Min Ho smirked as he glanced at his best friend. "I'm sure you will find your way back to each other. It's Eunice she is obsessed with you."
"I hope things work out for you." Kitty said.
Dae chuckled softly as he looked her up and down. "And you? Do you like anyone?"
Kitty swallowed the lump in her throat as her eyes widened. "Crap I just realised I need to ask Alex something. Catch you guys later."
Before any of them had a chance to respond, she quickly ran out the room.
She didn't even need to speak to Alex. She just didn't know how to respond to Dae without her getting exposed.
That was weird, Min Ho thought but he didn't think about it too much.
Dae caught on though. "That was weird right?"
Min Ho and Q shook her shoulders, not knowing what to say.
"We should get ready for the welcoming party." Q told them.
Dae and Min Ho nodded their heads. "Yeah."
